A soft whirring sound breaks up the ensuing silence as a small vehicle approaches. Black and open topped with knobby wheels, it looks old and well warn. As promised, it only has room for four people. {OOC: See attached picture.} [/color]

The group loads their gear into the back of the vehicle, it's a tight fit, but everything should fit. It would fit better if part of the space weren't taken up by a green metal box about the size of a couple boots. Darl carefully folds his long legs into the front next to the driver.... Gerard does a double take as he realizes that the driver is none other than Ethrem, whom he met the previous day when he delivered a message from the man's wife. Ethrem smiles and gives a little wave to Gerard when he sees that he's been found out. Jordan and Anastasia easily seat themselves in the back seat and the party is all set to go.

Ethrem pushes a lever on the dash forward and the vehicle accelerates almost soundlessly and it heads out of town towards Chisel Town garrison.

{OOC: If you disagree with the current travel arangement, please feel free to speak up. Now's also the point where your friendly GM needs to know who's doing what. Specifically, how fast Gerard on horseback, Daniel on foot and the group in the ATV plan on travelling and any other things of significance you would like to share with the GM.}

Withhis backpack in hand ,Daniel puts his t-shirt in the bag and puts the backpack back on his back walks outside of town.
Daniel yells out, "I will catch up in a minute."

Daniel streches out his arms and relaxes. The smell of a days old corpse surrounds him. His skin around his shoulderblades strech to allow what appears two arm like limbs grow out, his skin turns to a greyish green color that matches the smell of a corpse.
Daniels tailbone grows with flesh to a length of 8 feet with what appears to be a spike mace on the end. As the new limbs grow out of his shoulderblades, a thin fleshy material grows out and makes wings . All this takes less then a minute to do.

Now Reaper takes flight shivers offf the feeling of the new growth and catches p with the rest of the team. Flying low and fast.

The group watches Daniel's transformation, some with interest, some with horror.

Darl feels revulsion by the transformation; Daniel was annoying enough in human form, and now this?

Anastasia takes it in stride; at this point in the day, nothing could surprise her...besides, she did have some warning. It doesn't mean that this new Daniel is nice to look at, but she can handle it.

Luckily Zeke's head is pointed the other direction so he doesn't notice anything...although he does flair his nostrils at the new unpleasant smell. Gerard feels the urge to roll his eyes at the antics and wonders what new problems this may cause.

Jordan sees Daniel's transformation and says "Nice trick. I guess he just volunteered to be the point man..or would that be point monster." His brow furrows in mock consternation.

As everyone is lost in their own thoughts, a scream erupts from the throat of Ethrem as he sees this new horrifying apparition. The strain of the last two days in addition to seeing this new horror appears to have unhinged his mind. He fumbles at his hip for something but can't seem to get his mind and hands onto the same task and only manages to get the gun partway out of it's holster before his hand slips and the gun rattles onto the floor of the still moving ATV.

"Don't give me that look Darl. I told you all i can take care of myself. Looks are deciving. And some might want to calm ur driver. He might wreck the atv. " Daniel flies ahead of the team staying about 10 feet above ground keeping a look out for anyone or aanything ahead of them and keeping an eye on the ground for anyabnormal tracks.

Anastasia just shakes her head at Daniel and mumbles, "Go figures."
Not shaken by this and seeing that the driver is quite hysterical, she takes her hand gently not to startle him more, an places it on his shoulder and says "Its ok..This is what he does and what he is..he means no harm to you. Just settle down and keep us safe and get us to our destination safely. It will all be ok seriously."
Anastasia has leaned over to make sure hes looking at her but looking at where hes going and understanding what she is telling him. As shaken up as he is, Anastasia just hopes her calming method will help at this point.

Anastasia's soothing words seem to have some effect...the effect is that Ethram is now staring wide eyed at her instead of the road in front of them. His hands involuntarily follow his head and the vehicle starts to swing to the right and towards some rougher terrain. On the bright side, at least he's no longer screaming and flailing about for a weapon.

{OOC: Wow, even with bonuses for Anastasia's help, he still failed his save vs. HF miserably. I think I need new dice.}

Anastasia quickly tells Ethram "Turn around and look at the road! not me!!!!!" But its too late as the terrain comes closer and closer , Anastasia covers her face and prepares for the crash and starts to scream.

Daniel hears the screams and decides to fly back to the atv and tries to help to get things under control . Daniel will land in the top and tempt to grab the wheel and try to stear it back on course

Flying as fast as he can Daniel realizes that he may not get there in time...

{OOC: Hold that thought. Darl has time for an action or two before Daniel can get there.}

Gerard turns and sees the ATV out of control. "Hit the break!!!* Gerard hollars as that's the first thing that came to mind and also the realization that there is most likely no way he could get there in time to help stop the vehicle. He sees Danial up in the air and also turns to head towards the out of control ATV.
