Shortly after Anastasia leaves on her fact finding mission, Jordan whispers something to The Redeemer and then they both excuse themselves saying that they are going to go out into the town to see what they can find out.

Daniel forces his finger into the opening of the incision. At it's deepest, it's over an inch in depth and easily cut deep into the wind pipe and severed both arteries. Whoever did this had great strength and an extremely sharp knife since the guard is likely an MDC person like all natives of Wormwood.

With a frown on his face, the priest responds "If your plan is to cleanse the body, you can do it here. Wormwood will absorb the mess for us in it's usual fashion." The guard standing near leaves and returns momentarily with a bucket and a pile of cloths that a priest attending the recovering wounded gave him.

The wound track is similar to the first, but the bloody half circle impression is not evident on this one. It appears that Darl was correct; blood was only collected from one body. {Perception Roll} Nothing else is immediately evident on a cursory examination of the bodies, but maybe more information will reveal itself upon closer inspection.

Daniel looks at the bucket of water and rags . " Ok Priest , right now I need you to clean the necks of these two poor guys . If you are happen to start to wonder, yeah I ain't from this planet . I will start on one guy you please start on the other .. also if the soldier here don't mind taking a second look at this guys .. with the light he might be able to spot more details . "

Daniel looks to turn towards the priest and soldier, and smiles kindly , " If you have any questions , feel free to ask . But remember this , if you don't want the answer then don't ask the question. "

"If you're not from this planet, where'd you come from?" The priest asks with curiosity as he helps clean the body. The bodies are soon cleaned including removal of their uniforms. The priest places a rag across each of the bodies mid section for modesty's sake. All three of you re-examine the bodies but nothing new reveals itself. The cuts across the throats are deeper on the left than the right, but other than that look like a very practiced and professional slice. No signs of struggle, no signs of hesitation.

Daniel replies with a good humored tone as he examines the hands and nails carefully , " Well Priest orginally , I an from Earth . Before the coming of the rifts that changed the landscape of the planet as a whole . Its a twist of fate of how I land in the spot I am now from where I was . "

Daniel laughs a bit at his own answer in remembering his past events .

After the hands are examined, Daniels focus turn back to the neck wounds and notice a slight depth varations.
" Looks like our guy is right handed , cuts deeper on the left side of the wound track then the right side . And looks of the flesh , a single cut was made , very clean and very quick . This guy knew what he was doing . "
Daniel stands up streches out a bit and looks down at the bodies to grasp the whole picture that is laid out in front of him .

As Daniel stands there looking down at the bodies, an idea occurs to him.

Kneeling down next to the first body, "Hey priest, can ya find me a magnifying glass or something like that so I can take a closer look at the neck wounds ? I think I may be able to find out what kinda blade made these wounds."

Daniel says to himself, "Both of you are not giving me much to go on here.. wish you guys could tell me who did this...."

The priest excuses himself and returns moments later carrying what appears to be a piece of highly polished crystal. It is an absolutely perfect specimen about three inches across and encased in a metal ring...no handle. Daniel examines his own hand with it momentarily to see how it works and can see traces of the blood from last nights fighting still soiling his fingernails.

Daniel says to himself, "Both of you are not giving me much to go on here.. wish you guys could tell me who did this...."

Before the two dead bodies can respond, Daniel leans down and begins examining the wounds in more detail...

{OOC: What are you looking for exactly? Be precise. Since Daniel doesn't have any skill that would apply here, he you'll need to be specific about what your looking for and draw conclusions on your own.}

Daniel takes the crystal in his left hand and uses his right hand to manuver the skin around for better veiws of the edges . As he looks into the edges he tells the priest , " If your wondering what i am looking for , its how these wounds were made , looking for weather the blade itself was serrated or clean . And to see possible traces of metal in the wounds . "

Daniel finish examining the first body and moves on to the next with a child like fasination and wonder .

" If you have any other questions for me priest please feel free to ask . I can tell what i know . "

With the priest looking on, Daniel examines the wound closely. The cuts are smooth and clean. Daniel's experience ins't extensive, but from what he can see there doesn't seem to be anything that would indicate anything but a standard smooth blade.

" Well it looks like it was a clean blade appears to be an even sling cut and that's all I can get from here . Priest by chance you have anyone here that knows more of the medical field ? Or another way of examining these two guys ? " Daniel asks while hovering over the bodies looking at their wounds . He stands up and hands the glass back to the priest and says nicely , " If you got no other ways to examine them , then please lets get these guys dressed and ready for a funeral . At least we can give em that much . "

Daniel walks overt to the pile of clothes that belong to the two dead guys and start prep for redress .

Before the priest can answer, one of the church guards passes on a message to Daniel that Darl is requesting everyone's presence in Father Malaki's office to help him with something.

"Go," the priest tells Daniel "I'll take care of the bodies. I'll also ask Sister Guineth to take a look at the them. She is very knowledgeable about the human body and perhaps can see something we missed."
