OOC: <-- stands for out of character. Use this prefix to speak as yourself and not your character; like I am now. For those of you new to this game, this is the start of actual game play. After reading through the post, please reply back in 3rd person (not first) as to what your character is experiencing from your point of view. It's okay to use ChatGPT (Chat Gippity) to edit your post, if you like. Or you can practice your raw writing skills. Either way, pay attention to your character sheets on what your limits are and remember: You can try anything and get lucky (like defusing a bomb) or more than likely miserably fail if you don't have that specific skill, but sometimes worth trying. Unfortunately, our past posts were edited out for the full story so there aren't many examples of how a player's post translates after I (the game master) write in the outcome of each player and NPCs (Non player characters) actions. Good luck, have fun with this and interactions make this game so much more fun. Now, let's get started!
OOC2: I suggest reading the prelude for background on Fort Hammer's setting and atmosphere.

Violet Trent, or Warwick as she calls herself, bounces with excitement as she glances outside of the Bottoms Up saloon. Mr. Fowler and his crew have almost finished construction of the stage and makeshift boxing ring for tomorrow's festivities. She takes another bite of her cheeseburger, gathering protein for her big fight tomorrow. oO(I bet Mr Fowler would rather be in here drinking and cheering me on)Oo
Violet is average height and slender, but built like a female boxer. Her breasts seem to be the unspoken talk of the town. She's caught many staring at them during conversations, instead of her face. Even some of the women...
She's an undefeated fighter since she started competing in the junior circuit. Coach Driver has even considered teaching her other combat techniques, stating that she could make a great deputy when she gets older. Yet, Violet's mom would rather she take over the shop for her dad or move onto modeling or acting in Smith Falls. "The town is dangerous enough just being a citizen," Esther would often say.
She runs her fingers through her purplish blue hair and peers across the table at Brad and Johnny, who're also scarfing down their own cheeseburgers. The bar only has two patrons drinking. The poker table is empty. At the billiards table, little Mason, the sheriff's son, is aimlessly clacking balls into each other and cheering if he actually knocks a ball in. No one's playing shuffleboard. No one throwing darts. Mrs. Coulee, Frank's mom, washing glasses and dishes from the noon rush. She smiles at the teenagers enjoying her 'Angie Burgers,' as she's dubbed them. Vi knows that the saloon will be shoulder to shoulder tomorrow.
Next to Vi is her friend Kendal, who's pretty in her own way. Kendal's hazel eyes and long brown hair naturally compliment her slender, almost frail, tanned face. Kendal smiles, "So, I invited Frank and Teddy. I hope you don't mind."
"Kendal!" Johnny exclaims, "Are you stupid?" His brown eyes pierce into Kendal's, "Ted is an asshole!" Johnny has always had issues with Ted beating up on him. Normally, Johnny's brown hair is a moppy mess, but today, he's brushed it.
Brad silently observes while dipping another french fry in his tomato sauce. The next town doctor, they call him. His success rate for patients recovering is nearly as high as Dr. Lewis'. His mop of light brown hair needs a cut. With work at home, helping at the clinic or just hanging out with his friends, he hasn't had much time. He pulls out four credits and places them on the old, polished, wooden table. "Pardon the interruption, in celebration of your next bout, lunch is on me. You guys cover the tip."
The group always lets Brad pay. He's the only one with money besides Vi, who only earns money from her fights. Coach Driver usually takes some of her earnings to cover travel and gym upkeep, but leaves the rest for Vi. Who knows what she does with it? He looks at his UI Card and figures that he only has about 50 universal credits left. Burgers are only 1 credit, although, a decent trade can score up to a few burgers. oO(I'll have to go to the bank and get more credits out of my account)Oo
Brad then glances at Vi, to see her reaction. She's pretty, for a girl with bigger muscles than him. Both Vi and Kendal could be actresses or models. Especially Vi, with those huge... He avoids looking for now.
He's seen her fight and would rather never be hit by her. Her last fight lasted 8.7 seconds and her opponent needed his help. Not only did she knock him out, but the whiplash he received may have caused permanent neck problems. Brad still did what he could. Last he heard, the fighter recovered mostly... with a constant, nagging neck ache. What Brad found interesting is that the spot that Vi hit him, left a bruise... and a burn... How?
"Nice stall, Brad. But I'd rather..." Johnny starts.
"If Ted starts anything, then I'll kick his ass!" Kendal interrupts with a smile.
"Right... Are you two?" Johnny makes a circle with his left index finger and thumb, then points with his right index finger into the hole.
"NO!" she replies. "Who's the asshole now?"
Johnny's always had a crush on Kendal. Kendal's insult clearly bothered him. Yet, Brad is pretty sure that she likes Teddy instead. Meanwhile, Vi knows that she does. She's witnessed Kendal trying to kiss him, yet Teddy seems to like someone else. Most speculate that it's Meg Hoffman, the librarian. Yet, whenever he goes in to 'check out a book' she doesn't say more than two words to him. She avoids eye contact and disappears as soon as she can. Teddy doesn't read. He's too busy fighting, drinking or doing whatever he finds fun at the time. But Brad would never point that out to him, Teddy is just as scary as Vi.
Johnny sits back, smiling, "Well that's good, Kenny. We need to keep his kind out of the gene pool."
"He's just misunderstood." Kendal's anger beginning to show.
"Oh, I'll bet." Johnny looks to Brad and Vi, mainly Vi, "So what's the verdict? You gonna beat him tomorrow?"
