The rickshaw wavers a bit in the desert heat, as Natalya takes another labored step, carrying her life, her love. The sweat beads from her forehead as traveling another meter seems like an eternity. The horizon, wavering as though made of water, from the sun's heat reflecting from the tan terrain. Each drop of sweat that strikes the ground seems to be hungrily consumed by the cracked, parched landscape, turning the soil dark only for a fraction of an instant. Then quickly evaporates away. Her lungs burn. Her heart yearns as she knows she is pleasing her love. The faint glow of the leyline ahead signifies a chance to relax. Usually the leylines have some sanctuary of water, wildlife or rest, but not always.

"Stop." Comes the smooth, soft voice of her love. "You've earned this. Set the handles down gently," Natalya complies and sets them down and slowly turns, her vision darkening as though she may faint. Her beautiful ginger hair dances around her face, sticking to sweat, only revealing her beautiful, green eyes, which seem to shine in the sunlight. The sounds of water being poured come from the rickshaw, as a soft, well manicured hand appears in her line of vision, holding a full canteen. "You earned this, my love."

Natalya takes the canteen, her yearning for the water almost inducing her gag reflex as her cracked lips tremble. Her tongue is nearly beginning to swell. Trembling, she looks at her loves feet. Such small, petite feet. "M...mistress..." trying to keep from crying, "May I drink?" She tries to control her trembling hands for fear of dropping the canteen and losing all of the precious liquid within.

"You must wait!" The voice harshly snaps, "Please, look at me," the voice softly commands. Natalya raises her beautiful, green eyes to her mistress's beautiful, full brown eyes. Those hypnotic eyes, and beautiful heart-shaped face. The perfect lips and nose. The lips begin to move, "You have been so good to me, Natalya. What would I ever do without you?" Her eyes almost seem to taunt her as Natalya feels her soft hands caress her face. The euphoric rush is so extreme that she nearly collapses trying to prevent from fainting. "Natalya, go ahead and drink. I don't want you to lose time again. Bad things happen and people get hurt, remember?" Natalya nods.

Her mistress is right, when under extreme stress and pain, she faints. Then, when she awakens, people are dead. Some in the worst ways possible. It started in Char, past the Appalachian mountains. The first blackout left six dead. Prompting a manhunt for both Natalya and her mistress. Her mistress would never tell her what happened.

The second time, was in the burbs of Chi Town. Thirteen dead there. How she had turned them into shriveled, mummified husks, she doesn't know. Could Natalya be possessed? Or could it have been just Chi Town? A miserable place and that's when Natalya first learned that she was not ever permitted to say her mistress's name; Yuno. Fear creeps across Natalya's eyes as even thinking it could bring the "punishment."

"Are you okay, Natalya?" Her mistress peers with questioning eyes. "We will make it."

"Yes, Mistress." She smiles, "The man in the burbs said that it will be a perilous journey, but your love makes me strive on. I do this for you!" At that, she hungrily and unattractively begins gulping water from the canteen spilling some of the precious sustenance onto the hungry sand. Natalya is forced to stop as she nearly vomits it back up. oO(Drinking too fast again)Oo

"Show some dignity," her mistress sits back into the rickshaw, "We must keep moving..."

Unsure whether she means immediately, Natalya quickly hooks the canteen to her belt, which holds her traveling pants to her lithe and tight body. She must have lost weight on the trip as the weight of the canteen threatens to pull her trousers down. Fear of wasting time creeps into her mind until, "Your pants are falling down. This could be fun... in the middle of nowhere. You and I alone." Her mistress states coyly behind her. The rush enters her again, excited for once, that some unfortunate incident could lead to...

Yuno looks down at Natalya, half grinning, half afraid. oO(If she passes out, who will wake up? Natalya is easy to control, but...)Oo The man in Chi Town, Ripper as most call him, stated that there was a town separated from the turmoil and politics of the rest of the land. It would be a good place to lay low until things are forgotten. It shouldn't be too much further. Judging from the stars and the landmarks, they are on course, even though the journey has taken three weeks since the start of the desert. Maybe a half a day until they reach the town. Originally a campground called Camp Wilson.

The faint smell of smoke reaches her nose. Due west.

The rickshaw has been moving for half an hour now. Natalya speaks out of turn, "Mistress, do you smell that?"

OOC: Welcome to the game, Py.

The fuliginous air permeated with charred cedar and other types of wood. “Hmph.” A smirk finds its way across Yuno’s face. “Keep that tongue still, pet. Less you make me unhappy,” she said with a sharp hiss. A moment of silence had drifted between the two before Yuno broke it. “I’m sure you meant well, pet. Just remember who you love and want to please.” As she spoke she leaned forward wand traced a single finger and cleared some of the stringy, wet, ginger hair from Natalia’s face. “There’s my adorable love.”

Yuno takes a deep breath. Raising her chest and making the buttons tighten against her bosom making her breasts look ample and voluptuous. A light exhale accompanied a soft “You are right, however. The air is thick with fire.” A thought crosses her mind. Perhaps someone else took claim of the town… or someone left the stove on like an imbecile. Regardless, we need cover.

The carriage seemed to drift in an endless sea of brown. The torrid desert made Yuno miss the tundra she once been surrounded by.

A sigh gently escapes Yuno. “Not much further. We will get you cleaned and that wretched stink off you. Maybe even a bath together.” A chuckle punctuated her sentence with a hint of lust.

The heat increasing her desires, a flush feeling in her face. She shuts her eyes momentarily, imagining the carnal moments, inviting a lightweight, euphoric ecstasy. Her feet burn as she perseveres. She can feel the ruptured blisters. The pain is amazing, amplified by her own exotic thoughts. Her shirt drags and flaps along her skin in rare moments of desert breeze; she imagines mistress's light caress and her favorite collapsing fan, lightly dragging down her naked sides. The pain isn't enough. She realizes she is lightly trotting, increasing pace. oO(The sooner we're there, the sooner she will hold me)Oo Her skin moistens as sweat lubricates each step and motion of her body. Each movement; an act of intimacy ascending toward sexual apex. She realizes a slight moan escape her lips. She secretly hopes that her mistress doesn't hear. She wants to be strong! Yuno is unsure of what inspired Natalya, but the rickshaw is making good time. She's almost running. If she continues for too long, then she may collapse; and that leads to... The ride is more vigorous than relaxing, although, the bouncing applies a slight massage to the rump. In an odd way, it's arousing.

In the distance, a faint, black pillar of smoke contrasts the horizon. As does the silhouette of person who's stumbling along. The poor fool is probably out of water. Whoever it is doesn't seem to fall and seems to wander aimlessly.

Yuno rummaged around until she found her oil-paper umbrella. “Ah.” Best to not get a sunburn. Yuno places the umbrella next to her for quick access once they reach the wanderer. “It seems the town is just a few more yards, dearest.”

Yuno rummages around, eventually locating her oil-paper umbrella. “Ah.” oO(Best to not get a sunburn)Oo Yuno places the umbrella next to her for quick access once they reach the wanderer. “It seems the town is just a few more yards, dearest.”

Twenty minutes can emulate hours when the pain intensifies with fatigue. She's no longer perspiring and her skin is beginning to pale. Her pace is painstakingly slow as they approach a literal walking corpse.

The corpse turns, peering from a vacant orbital socket and a glazed over half rotting eyeball. A majority of its jerkied, facial flesh is dangling by strands from its skull. Tattered clothes drap over its skeletal shoulders and arms. It shuffles at an increased pace towards the rickshaw. Even in its hurried advance, it won't arrive for at least a minute.

Natalya trembling hands set the rickshaw down rather hurriedly. As she stands, turning to face Yuno, her face is pale as a ghost, her eyes unfocused as she falls into a pile in the desert sand. Her body uncontrollably heaves as she vomits across the sand. She's unconscious. Uh oh!

“Puppet Masters and their puppets.” Yuno let out a mild scoff. The sudden sound of regurgitation quickly captured Yuno’s attention. “Oh my.” She said with a half grin. Yuno grasped the side of the rickshaw while taking a step onto the hot sand. Maybe heels was not my best idea. Yuno turned and picked her Umbrella up and opened it. A large oil painting of a dragon on top of the paper shown through from the rays of the sun.

Yuno went and knelt next to Natalya. “Poor thing. You should be more careful.” With a single hand, Yuno picks up the young ginger and puts her in the carriage giving her cover from the sun. “Why am I so nice?” A soft sigh came from her as she then turned and met with puppet.

“Hmph. Inconvenient. At least I can guess why there is smoke everywhere.” Yuno walks behind the rickshaw and opens the basket holding their items. She locates the plasma pistol. “Ah.” She closes the lid to turn and take aim at the ghoul. Let’s see how sturdy that decaying head of yours is.

“Puppet Masters and their puppets,” Yuno mildly scoffs. The sudden regurgitation quickly captures Yuno’s attention. “Oh my.” She replies, half grinning. Yuno grasps the side of the rickshaw while stepping onto the hot sand. oO(Maybe heels was not my best idea)Oo Yuno turns, picking her umbrella up and opens it. A large oil painting of a dragon on top of the paper shows through from the rays of the sun.

Yuno kneels next to Natalya. “Poor thing. You should be more careful.” With a single hand, Yuno picks up the young ginger and puts her in the carriage, providing shade. “Why am I so nice?” Softly sighing as she turns towards the puppet.

“Hmph. Inconvenient. At least I can guess why there is smoke everywhere.” Yuno walks behind the rickshaw and opens the basket holding their items. She locates the plasma pistol. “Ah.” The NE-4 emblazoned on the side gleams in the sunlight as she flicks the safety off.

She closes the lid to turn and take aim at the ghoul, which is struggling to close the gap between them. "Let’s see how sturdy that decaying head of yours is." A orangish-white beam lances briefly from the end of the short barrel, straight into the creature's face. It's head, shoulders and upper torso immediately evaporate, leaving a cloud of smoke and ashes as it's waist and legs crumple to the ground. A small crater appears several hundred feet behind as the gun ejects a smoldering, hot shell from its chamber.

"WHY do I have this AWFUL taste in my mouth?" Luxanna screams, "And WHYYY do my legs hurt?" Her beautiful, sweaty haired, fiery mug appears from around the entrance of the rickshaw. Her deep sea green eyes pierce into Yuno's. She dramatically bats her eyelashes, "How long was I asleep and did you do anything to my, poor, irresistable body?" Her cute pouting smile breaks as she continues, "The sweat, aching legs?" She looks at her crotch, "and I'm wet." Her eyes begin to accuse. "So, you'll be sure to give me the same treatment awake, won't you?" Not even letting Yuno answer, "Mistress? A desert? Where are we?" As she gestures across the barren landscape.

Yuno hasn't seen Luxanna appear since not long after Chi Town. Her long slumber has only fueled her ability to spout rapid dialogue faster than a pre-rifts rap artist.

Yuno gave a satisfied nod after the nearly disintegrated zombie fell to the ground. Then she heard it. “Luxanna.” Yuno turns back to the basket and places the gun inside. She then raises the umbrella back above her for shade. Yuno stares at the ground only shortly before walking back to the front to greet Lux. At the first step, the back of her heel seems to dig into the sand. Lucky that did not happen when I fired. Lucky me. A few careful steps taken and Yuno managed to get back the opening of the rickshaw. Lux, a playful, albeit boisterous, spirit.

Yuno does not answer her immediately. Just stands bringing her finger to her chin. A warm breeze gusts past them. A soft sigh. “It is good to see you back to your senses Lux.” Yuno snaps her fingers at Lux to move from the rickshaw seat. “We are here because of you.” Yuno half smiled. “We got ourselves in a bit of a snag. We are being hunted and needed a place to lay low.” Yuno turns and looks at the stack of smoke billowing. Yuno raises her finger and points. “The town is over there. We should make ourselves at home there. Plus, it seems we might even meet a necromancer!” She said with much joy. “But, we can’t draw to much attention to this place. At least till the heat goes away.” Obviously not the temperature heat but the 'man' hunt.

Yuno turns back to Luxanna. She places her hand under her chin and grabs with a little tug. Yuno releases and grabs a canteen to fill it with some water. “Here.” She demands. “Get me to the town. If you are good, you will be rewarded.”

OOC: i wasn't going to directly say Lux leaves the rickshaw, but if that is the case we will assume that Yuno is sitting in it if Lux picks it up and walks with it again. If ya get mah meaning

Lux frowns, "How's it my fault that you need to eat?" She coyly grins, "Anyways, this town, didn't you say that it's fairly low tech and primitive? Think of it as a vacation." She glances to the handles of the rickshaw. "Anyways, if I look to be the one in control, then how could they ever suspect you. If there is a necromancer, then he can take blame for your affliction." Winking, she continues, "You're turn to push."

Yuno places her hand under her chin and grabs with a little tug. She then grabs a canteen to fill it with some water. “Here.” She demands. “Get me to the town. If you are good, you will be rewarded.”

"I said, 'NO!'" Lux growls, "My plan or no plan." Her emerald eyes pierce into Yuno's, "You need me to remain safe." Yuno knows that she has a point. Lux has never let her down. The only issue is if Natalya returns. How will she ever explain that to a town of complete strangers?

Lux’s exclamation of defiance resonated through Yuno nearly causing a caustic reaction. Why you little…. She could not help but think vile things about Luxanna. She knew that Lux was right. The mild sneer on Yuno’s face retracted quickly although she was unsure if it went unnoticed by Lux. She took a deep breath and stepped between the handlebars. “Could you please fit the stereotypical redhead any better?” Each syllable was dripping with disdain and sarcasm. Even the most meager of intelligences could notice it.

Yuno bent over and picked up the warm rickshaw handles. She made sure to look around the ground to not step onto any of Natalya’s vomit. “Onward, I suppose.” Nearly leaping with each step, Yuno attempted making the ride as uncomfortable as possible for Luxanna. The torturous ride would only last until they reached clear vision of the town. “Enjoy the breeze!”
