Hi guys,

Just wanted to apologize for the massive hiatus. I have a new, highly time consuming job and a second job. Working on finding time over weekends to catch up.

I wouldnt mind revamping my game and continuing it.

I am still alive here and might be able to find some more players, maybe

I'd love to get back into some gaming again as well.

Good to hear guys. once again, I really apologize. I could have at least said something. Can't really give a good excuse on that one.

On the plus side, a few friends have entered me into the Great Falls Iron GM competition. Ill be running Dead Reign. Should I win, I guess Ill be going onto the regional competitions (some have mentioned that this is regionals and that Id be going to world competition).

The director of the competition is giving me props for picking Palladium Systems, since the combat system is considered bulky and slow. With the players only having 1 hour to create their characters (without my help), it will be a challenge. I am allowed to provide instructions, which I did write up to help the players non verbally.

How Iron GM works is very similar to Iron Chef. The GM shows up with his base materials and props (miniatures, playmat, books, dice and pencils, of course a notebook) and no adventure material or pregenerated characters. Before the players are allowed to make characters, the GMs are given three story elements (ingredients) that must be included in the game. From there, the players have 1 hour to create their characters and the GM has one hour to create the adventures, that must span over 5 hours of play time. The GM who does it the best, wins.

I have a few players interested in joining to fill in the gaps. I figure a maximum of 12 players is good since Im pretty sure our player base just took a nosedive throughout the last few years.

So what happened with the iron GM competition?

The judges disqualified me the night before the competition. A sudden rule change. Saved me to 20$ to even get into the place. Was the only reason I was going.
