With only the crossbow goblin in his sights , Daniel whips his tail around to disarm the goblin. The goblin quickly whips the crossbow quickly out of the way to avoid losing it. He immediately brings the weapon to bear on Daniel at point blank range and fires before Daniel has a chance to bring his chain to bear. {OOC: Dodge or take the damage?} Two laser blasts strike Daniel in rapid succession from the other goblin. {17 MDC}

"You guys sleepin' on the job or what?" Daniel yells back to Anastasia and Gerard.

Anastasia looks at Daniel and gives him a look of "he better just shut up now or else" and takes aim at another goblin different then the one that Daniel is going after...carefully aiming as to really take this one out with no problem so they can get the hell outta here. Anastasia aim is true and the arrow easily strikes the creatures armor, causing a fair amount of damage to it.

Gerard also takes advantage of the goblin with laser pistol's distraction and burns it with a triple blast from his pulse rifle. Its armor holds, but it now sports a large singe mark on the side.

Belle takes off towards Jordan to help him fight off his three goblins, and within a few seconds is nearing Anastasia and Gerard. From their vantage, all they see is what appears to be an unknown Apok weaving through the pillars towards them with a human man tailing a ways behind. {OOC: It will take Belle one more action to reach the other Apok.}

The unknown Apok continues running in the direction of the melee combat, an almost two handed sword in one hand and a dagger in the other. Looking at the mask, it looks something like a warped version of a banshee.

With the cloak over the figure, it is hard to actually tell the sex of the figure. The hands though under the gloves do appear slender for whatever that is worth.

Daniel sees the goblin still having his crossbow in his hands and ready to fire again .

Apon seeing the crossbow drawn for another shot , Daniel a tempts to dodge and engangles the goblin with his whipchain again .

All the while thinkin to himself ,"What are those two doin ? Having a damn lunch date down there ? I need to finish this little play date here soon and fast . "

Gerard will take aim on the goblin that he hit before. "Anastasia do you see them moving up towards Jordan?" Gerard says as he takes aim. "If you think we need to swing around and cover Jordan let me know as they are coming at him from behind."

"Anastasia do you see them moving up towards Jordan?" Gerard says as he takes aim at the goblin on the hill. "If you think we need to swing around and cover Jordan let me know as they are coming at him from behind." Gerard's single shot strikes the goblin as he aims to shoot Daniel.

Anastasia sees the unknown Apok continues running in their direction and continue on past and towards Jordan and his fight...an almost two handed sword in one hand and a dagger in the other. Daniel sees the goblin in front of him take point blank aim and pulled the trigger on the crossbow. Faster than the blink of an eye, faster than Daniel thought he could even move, he dodges the arrow which flies under one wing and explodes into a pillar behind him. Daniel can feel the heat and concussion of the explosion. He quickly whips his chain forward in an attempt to entangle the arm of the goblin again, but the goblin is ready for the tactic this time and simple drops the crossbow between them and reaches for a short sword that starts humming as it's pulled free of the rough black scabbard at the goblin's back. A shot from the other goblin sizzles by the goblin in front of Daniel's head and barely misses Daniel as well.

Swords slice through the air around Jordan as he dances to silent music. All three goblins miss as Jordan is either not where they strike or he parry's there blows. He, however, does not miss so easily. His sword slices through the neck of one goblin, severing it. The head sprays blood as it flies through the air and rolls across the ground. Another goblin just barely manages to parry a blow aimed at spilling it's guts across the ground.

Anastasia gets herself together after trying to figure things out and tells Gerard her idea "Well, it looks like Jordan has some mysterious help down there but at the moment lets help out Daniel since he seems to be getting it from all directions at this time. I'm sure he would appreciate some fire power from us."
Anastasia then starts to turn towards Daniels direction and hugs against the pillars for cover just in case there's any unknown creatures on the hill.

Deciding against throwing a Hellfire, the mysterious Apok quickly closes the remaining distance to the goblins engaging the other Apok. There is no battle cry.

Choosing the goblin that is not currently engaged, she engages it, striking with the sword. Like most things on Wormwood, it is made from crystal. The figure throws their strength into the blade.

As Daniel's chainwhip flies through the air missing its intending target while the crossbow is droped and a sword comes into play . Daniel feels the shot fly by him , Daniel tempts to use his tail to throw the goblin with the sword off balence . After the manuver to off balence the goblin , Daniel attempts to to hand to hand with the goblin to knock out or kill it .

Anastasia takes aim at one of the goblins to help out Daniel, being as hes in quite a bit of trouble at this point, and takes careful aim at the goblin that's not attacking Daniel at this point. After making her shot, she then looks around again to the top of the hill to see if there are anymore of these disgusting and annoying little creatures that just don't want to die it seems. She turns slowly back under the cover of the pillars to make sure Gerard is doing alright and asks him, "So, what do you think now, with Daniel getting planked from every direction, and I'm pretty sure I got that last goblin since he was concentrating more on his moves on killing Daniel, we still have to move forward and do away with the others but keep an eye on the hillside as well."

Anastasia can tell as she looses another arrow up at the hill that her aim is perfect {critical strike}. At almost the same instant, a bolt of laser fire from Gerard's rifle burns into the same goblin. Between the two blows, the remains of the goblin's black armor fall to the ground. There is no longer enough structure to hold the pieces together. The goblin had been preparing to fire at Daniel again, but because of the fire it's been taking from Gerard and Anastasia it opts to move behind a pillar and out of site of the two of them so that it can freely concentrate on Daniel.

Daniel whips his tail around, surprising the goblin with his superior agility. The goblin is upended and tumbles head over heals. His momentum actually carries him to the edge of the embankment where he dissappears over the edge and rolls down to the road, bouncing off pillars as he goes. He comes to a sliding stop at the bottom of the hill in plain view of Anastasia and Gerard who have the advantage of partial cover that the goblin has now lost. {OOC: Daniel is unable to use his knockout attack because the goblin is no longer in range.}

Belle strikes at the nearest unsuspecting goblin. She finds, to her delight, that the goblin is unaware of her presence and she is able to cut deep into its tough hide, severing it's exposed spine and cutting into the gore beneath. It falls dead at her feet. The other goblin attempts to parry a blow by Jordan but Jordan deftly turns his wrist and his strike comes within a breath of the top of the goblin's shield before connecting solidly with the side of the goblin's head, killing it as well. Continuing his swing he comes around to face Belle with his sword raised, ready to defend himself. He glances down at the dead goblin at Belle's feet, but doese not lower his sword. After a brief moment he turns the sword in his hand so that it points skyward in front of his face in a show of honor and a salute to Belle.

{OOC: Next round, order of combat is Jordan, Gerard, Daniel, Bell/Anastasia (same initiative. for you two). There are currently two known goblins alive. The one on the top of the hill with Daniel and the one that just rolled to a stop at the bottom of the hill across the road from Anastasia and Gerard.}

Jordan looks at the goblin at the bottom of the hill and then glances at the one at the top of the hill. Deciding that the two remaining goblins aren't much of a threat, he kneels and uses the goblin Belle killed to wipe the blood off his blade while keeping his eye on the goblin laying sprawled at the side of the road.

The man that accompanied the new Apok has stopped and is hiding in the pillars not too far from Anastasia and Gerard. He appears to be thinking about shooting the laser rifle at the goblin in the road, but has not yet pulled the trigger.
