Gerard steps up to the guard. "I don't have much but would you be willing to take this knife?" Gerard reaches down and pulls his boot knife out. "I know it's not much but it's of good quality and has served me well for a long time. If your willing to take this as payment, please let my friend here know her message thanks."

Not really knowing what the best action is, Belle simply looks down at the ground and keeps quiet. She does not like the idea that the guard wants payment. Carrying a message is a littl enough thing to do and Wormwood provides. One very carefully looking at him might note still a certain tightness, as if on guard still.

Daniel walks up next to the guard and place his arm on the guards shoulder as if to kinda hold him up and says nicely, "You know buddy, you may not know but that vow she speaks of means she is already taken .. Besides what you got wouldn't be enough to even get a giggle outta my girl there " Daniel looks to Belle with a smile. "She would just end up leaving you a sad sorry mess of a what might have been a man .. As for that message from our big blue friend ... Just be kind to the ladies and say what that might be."

The guard steps away from Daniel to remove himself from reach. "Keep your hands to yourself, buddy, if you know what's best for you." The guard looks to his right at another nearby guard who now is looking keenly at Daniel. His hand hold an energy rifle tightly in both hands...it's pointing up in the air in a casual direction, but by the intense look from him, it's obvious that touching guards is a touchy subject.

Ignoring Daniel and turning back to Anastasia, he addresses her brusquely. "Darling, if you don't want the message, you're free to be on your way. I'd appreciate you not gettin' snippy with me, though. I simply wanted something small for my troubles. Is that too much to ask? The longer we stand around arguing, the more likely my memory will get fuzzy and I'll forget what the message was supposed to be."

The guard takes the dagger from Gerard and examines it for a moment. "Now that's better. We're finally getting somewhere. Your friend said he would meet you back here tomorrow at noon." The guard flips the dagger once in the air and hands it back to Gerard hilt first. "Keep your dagger; wasn't much of a message. Just remember that you owe me a small favor sometime in the future." With that, the guard turns to the side and sweeps his arm through to direct the group to keep moving.

Simply smiling back at the guard, Belle responds, "Thank you." Being polite and friendly does not cost them anything even if he does appear to be a toad.

If she had to count the things she did in her previous lifetime with even more loathe individuals in her quest for power, this would not even count. Besides, she was even more facile before. The blond Apok hopes however that the guard would not let the minions of the Unholy in if the price is right.

She will briskly push the crowd, something about being an Apok makes her far strong than one might be naturally. Once clear, Belle states, "I hope we can get Jonesy back to his wife. Afterwards, we can discuss if you would like my assistance or not."

Daniel hears that Darl is in town .He says to everyone with a happy tone ,"How bout we all find somewhere to crash for the night and yeah lets get Jonesy back to his family . They might like to see him again ."

With that said daniel shifts the weight in his backpack to sit a bit more confertable and waits for everyone to start moving into town with a smile .

"Sounds good to me as I'm sure we could all use some rest and food. Anyone know any places we could stay? I could suggest a couple from my times through this place in the past."

OCC-provided Gerard knows of a few places that are good for the group.

Belle suggests, "There is always the first tavern I visited in the town. It seems a decent enough place."

While walking, she decided to ask, "So were did you gentlemen and lady come from before I met you?"

Daniel thinks for a minute on belle's question,"Well before meeting up with Jordan,Gerard and Anastasia , I some how got droped in this planet and was jacked by some demons in the badlands . but before that i am from earth . But I have been 1 other world ... that little trip had some bonuses .. "

Daniel sighs abit ,"That's my story i don't know about everyone .. how bout you Belle?"

Anatasia just looks at the guard and smiles knowing she wasn't being whatever he thinks, but shrugs it off seeing as he seems to be just a jerk anyways. Looking at the group, she gathers up her things in hands and arms and readies herself for the trip, "Yes, I think we should get going and meet up with our long lost friend as soon as possible so we can get together and stay together and defintely get your friend back with his family. They must all miss you very much and I for one would love to get you there safe and sound. As for we we came from, well lets just say we were strolling towards the city."

As coincidence would have it, the tavern Belle is referring to is one that Gerard has used in the past since it's close to this gate. The now largish group of travelers first take Jonesy by his friends home where he is temporarily staying. They say their goodbyes as Jonesy is reunited with his wife and friends.

Finally, they make their way to the tavern not too far away. It is approaching dinner time as they arrive.
