OOC: Both players of Adrian and Mariam are not available to play at this time, I will need to run them NPC for the time being. Bill and Joe are available (Jack and Shep). Ill have a post out by the end of the day.

Mariam
Adrian
Jack
Shep
Lucas

Shep thinks back to the river and describes the creatures coming out of it to the officer. "Sheriff Harper probably has things in hand by now, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt for your men to see if he needs any assistance. Now, if you don't mind, we have urgent business to be about." Shep hopes that the officer will let them be about their business so that they could get back to Camp Wilson to attend to anyone that was wounded in the attack.

Lucas quickly strolls into the shop, passing a reassuring nod back to Jack and Shep.

The sergeant quickly pulls Mariam and Adrian to the side, engaging in some intense whispering. Eventually, the sergeant announces, "I'll take these two to the station for questioning." The other two officers nod as the one with darker hair replies, "We'll follow these guys back to Camp Wilson in the interceptor." The sergeant nods as he leads the other two off.

"Meet us out front of the shop," The balding officer commands. "We'll head out from there."

Eventually, Lucas returns with a large, black dufflebag. As he slings it into the sidecar on his bike, the sound of a dozens of rattling pill bottles, mixed with the crackling of plastic packaging of medical supplies emanates from it. He looks confusedly around, then back to Shep and Jack, "Where'd they go?"

"Apparently the Sheriff didn't like the answers they gave him, so he's going to take them in for questioning now instead of later." Shep responds in a hushed tone. "I guess they're on their own. I already put my neck out for them when I lied about them being with me and Jack. Hope that doesn't come back to bite my ass. You still good to go? We're supposed to meet the deputies out front so we can get back to town."

Jack looks back and forth between Shep and Lucas, "We can check on them after we have helped anyone wounded in the attack, lets hurry back. At least we will have an escort, just in case there are any more questions, or problems." He turns to walk out of the shop.

Lucas laughs, "Those aren't deputies. They're cops." He admires his arm for a moment, straightens his leather jacket out and grins, "You country guys are funny." He hops on his motorcycle and leads the three to the front of the shop, where they meet up both cops, who are sitting in a nice car with the fancy police lights on top. It's very reminiscent of a race car with a ram prow on the front. The driver rolls down his window, "Camp Wilson, right? Lead the way." he smiles as the other cop, with unruly black hair, nods.

Shep nods his head to the two and proceeds to his four wheel ATV. He frowns in some consternation and wonders why two cops/deputies...whatever...don't know where Camp Wilson is even though it's not that far away. He's starting to get an uneasy feeling about the two, but they look to be legit so he shrugs it off...for now. As soon as Jack's ready, Shep takes off back the way they came.

Shep nods his head and mounts his four wheel ATV. He frowns in some consternation oO(Why're two cops/deputies...whatever... unaware where Camp Wilson is even though it's not that far away?)Oo He's starting to get an uneasy feeling about them, but they look to be legit so he shrugs it off...for now.

Jack mounts his ATV and heads out.

The two atvs and the interceptor head through the streets of Crenshaw. Shep still finds wonderment in the splendor of the architecture compared to Camp Wilson, as does Jack. Eventually, upon exiting the town, the road turns to a lightly travelled dirt trail. Upon glancing back, both Jack and Shep spy the three dust trails kicking up behind them as they feel the warm breeze across their faces. There is smoke rising on the horizon, in the direction of Camp Wilson. Not a good sign. The interceptor speeds up and moves along side of the two. The window rolls down and the blonde haired officer shouts, "That looks bad. Do you want us to go on ahead?"

Shep dodges a rough spot on the trail and then looks over at the officer and gives her a single nod.
