Daniel with his pack on his back leans again the wall listening to the conversation . When it finishes he will stand up on his feet and turn to leave the room and says , " We better get going . Time to hit the road kids . "

Darl stands idly near the door, thinking that any information given to Tobius is a potential risk ... and that they should only provide him a promise to return and report, rather than provide any new information now.

As the discussion nears a close, he will make his way out of Tobius's office, taking an opportunity to peek into Malaki's office once more as he passes, to see if he glances anything else of potential 'interest'.

Anastasia looks around briefly"Like I said before, I think we have all we need at the moment and we need to leave asap before either the people get irate or the demon comes back."
Anastasia leans over to Darl and whispers to where no one can hear, "Darl keep the papers lets go fast no information is correct...I don't trust him..come on."

As Darl sidles closer to the door, The Redeemer looks at him questioningly for a moment. When Darl doesn't say anything he gives him a little "I'm sorry" look before speaking to Tobius. "We found a a packet of notes that appear to be about the Orb. They need further study so we'd like to take those with us along with the notes on translating the coin that Darl found."

Tobius frowns in thought for a few moments and then responds "I don't think it would be wise to send the only documentation on what the orb potentially is or does on a journey that may likely see you all killed. You're free to take the notebook on translating the glyphs, I have another copy around here somewhere, but I must demand that the notebook stay with the church."

The Redeemer looks a bit crestfallen at having possibly betrayed the group, but his conscience wouldn't have let him do otherwise without knowing for certain that Tobius was corrupt. The Redeemers response is quick and without hesitation, though, as if he already new what the likely answer would be before he asked the question. "In that case, sir, I would like your permission to stay here to study it. Any information that Father Malaki put in the papers might lead us to tracking the orb down and possibly knowing what to do with it when we find it. I can pass on any information I find to the searchers."

The Redeemer and Jordan meet eyes momentarily. Jordan nods his head sadly as if to say "I don't want to split us up, but you're right, this may be for the best." The Redeemer looks out of the corner of his eye to see how Anastasia reacts to the news.

"I could probably agree to that," The dislike of the idea is plain in Tobius tone, "but you'd have to stay in one of the houses while you're here and someone would have to bring you the book to study. I can't have an Apok wandering around up here. I'd be executed...or worse, excommunicated."

"I understand." The Redeemer responds. "We would just need some way to communicate securely between myself and the group."

[giggles]

Anastasia looks down for a moment not quite sure what to say or how she feels...
"We don't want to leave you here but you must look up the information and get what you can out of it..we need to move on before any trouble starts." She looks into his eyes saddened but trying to be of encouragement that this won't be a long separtation from their very dear friend. His look befuddles her as she tries to hurry ..she gives him a quick hug of reassurance.
"We will see you soon friend" she says and goes towards Jordan with bags in hand still looking around and trying to cope with her uneasy feelings of whats happening here now."

Gerard returns with Zeke and heads over to where the others are standing. "Looks like everyone is packed and ready. Anything happen while I was off getting Zeke that I should know about?"

OOC: Well, looks like nobody wants to answer Gerard, so I'm going to try to kick start us once again. If you have personal life getting in the way of posting, at least drop me a line and let me know. Posting has been pretty ragged for the last couple of weeks.

Gerard returns with Zeke and heads over to where the others are standing. "Looks like everyone is packed and ready. Anything happen while I was off getting Zeke that I should know about?"

Jordan turns as Gerard enters and delivers the news that The Redeemer will be staying behind to translate the papers. He looks to Darl to see if he's going to give up the papers without an argument.

Daniel Turns back towards the group , " Well guys lets get goin, huh ? Gerard ,I sugest you leading the way man .. Sence you know roughly where the encounter happened . Hope everyone got transport .. I think fast we move the better ! "

Daniel smiles and plans to fly low unless otherwise requested ..

Anastasia still looking at the Redeemer then Jordan for any responses but realizes what must be done here.
"I agree Daniel, lets get going like I have stated before many times before anything should happen that prevents us. I don't want to be here if that should happen, so lets get outta town quick!"
She looks to Jordan and grabs his arm and holds on tight moreless to get moving but yet just to feel better about the situation of leaving the Redeemer behind for whatever reason but understanding why at the same time.
Anastasia thinks for a minute about how she arrived here in town so she looks to the group, "I was just thinking about how i arrived here and should go talk to Brother Tobius and see if hes got a spare apc he can lend us."
She hurries over to Brother Tobius and proceeds to ask for his help.
"Brother Tobius, just one thing before we leave ..I was wondering if you had an extra apc you could spare so we could manage to get the ones walking faster to our destination if you don't mind helping us out this last time."
Now all she does is wait for an answer looking at him for she knows hes tired of us being in town but more than likely will help to get us outta town quickly with this one last favor.

Darl reaches back into his cape, and retrieves the bundle of papers from an inside pocket so that he may pass them to Jordon. "Guard yourself closely ... and trust noone," he whispers to Jordon quietly as he hands them over.

"We waste yet more time ..." he states out loud, knowing that his one-hour window on the shade is rapidly closing ... and that he was against even telling Tobius anything, other than they were leaving and would return with word when they had something to share.

OOC: I'll be at a conference all next week, so my posting will be sporadic if at all.
