Mazur 11
Lux 10
Jack 9
Z3 (hit a few times) 7
Reggie 5
Cop 3
Jack intuitively lifts his end of the rope for Mazur to pass under. Mazur notices the determination in Jack's focus.
Shep fights to ignore forming memories of fighting some dark monster. .oO Was that even me? Oo. he wonders, .oO That's not my past. Oo. He pushes it aside to concentrate on the current battle. Frustrated, he doesn't know what else he can do. He digs in his heels and lowers his center of gravity and begins shoving the zombie backwards, forcing it's heels to begin sliding across the gravel!
OOC: Nice, it has double your strength and you actually beat it this round! Leverage ftw!
Meanwhile, the other two zombies have their full focus on Lux. They both swing at her as she easily just brushes both of their hands away. Then, as fate would decree, she fumbles on her ankle, attempting a jumping, spinning, leap kick towards the closest one. Instead, she trips and falls into Jack. Luckily, Jack just holds his ground and keeps the rope high as Mazur passes under, keeping out of reach of the undead and nimbly creating a loop around Jack's end with his own end of the rope.
Lux's surprised expression turns to shock as she's hoisted up by the roped zombie then subsequently slammed onto the ground in a dusty shower of gravel. The telltale, "Ooph!" escapes her mouth as it's obvious it's winded her. The second zombie dog piles on top of her. She reflexively moves her head as its double fisted strike creates a gravelly mini crater where her head was.
Frustrated by his own ineptitude versus the leg, Reggie takes another swing at the zombie's neck; striking the knobby vertebrae just below the neck and only splitting its shirt and skin. His second swing, although adjusted aim just below its cranium, is misjudged by the sudden success of Shep's shoving it backwards, ends up striking the exact same spot, chipping some bone with it.
Mazur finishes his knot, then pulls opposite of Jack, preventing the second zombie from continuing down with his comrade onto Lux, who looks completely dazed.
Two gunshots pierce everyone's' hearing, creating a deafening tonal ringing. The zombie, tied up by Mazur and Jack's rope, drops to its knees, with only a vacant, red mist replacing what used to be its head. The policeman from Lake Crenshaw collapses back onto the four wheeler, dropping the smoking pistol to the ground.
