"Hehe! I can be an animal," he teases as squints his eyes trying to see something to the north. Megana follows his gaze, yet she doesn't notice anything. His frown shows momentary concern, and then he rests his ear against the top of her head and finally relaxes. "Too bad we don't live in the same town. Maybe your parents will let you come see me."

Megana figures that they're about one third of the way through the ride as it begins moving faster, without stopping to onload or offload anyone.

"Yeah that would be nice...i am glad i actually got to meet you Sam" Megana's voice warm and soft. As she stares out off at the distance to enjoy the view.

Megana had quickly notice it. "Hey sam look over to the southside...." Megana looks alarmed as she looks at whatever was burning in the distance

"Yeah, that would be nice. I'm glad I actually got to meet you, Sam," Megana warmly says as she stares out off at into distance to enjoy the view. She swears she sees something distant, burning and falling from sky, as Sam looms into view for a kiss. "Hey Sam, look over to the south." She looks alarmed as she watches whatever is burning in the distance.

Sam peeks in the same direction, somewhat alarmed as both watch whatever it is disappear behind a range of hills on the horizon. Dark smoke begins spiralling up into the skyline. "Uh, that's probably not good. That's on the way to Smith Falls." He says as the ferris wheel begins to circle around a few more times. Others, riding in different gondolas, also notice the smoke, pointing.

OOC: Not to Megana, it's probably on some rancher or farmer's land.

Sam calls out to the ride operator, "Hey! Let us off!" The operator nods as he lets the ferris wheel circle one more time. He let's Megana and Sam off of the ride.

"We have to let the sheriff or a deputy know." He grabs Megana's hand and immediately sees Deputy Suarez. Another middle-aged couple also arrives as the deputy holds both of his open hands up to calm everyone down.

"Okay, slow down, everyone!" he exclaims, he points to Sam, "You first."

"Something crashed over the horizon to the south, sir." Sam answers. "No idea what it is, but it's still burning."

Deputy Suarez frowns in confusion, "And you?" he asks Megana.

"We both saw it and came to report it. South side close to smith falls. And its burning fast and aggressively" she keeps looking towards the fire.

After the deputy hears the same thing from the other couple, he immediately keys the radio, "Joe, we have a fire started on the horizon to the south. We need to get ahold of Swenson and get the firetruck moving. Over."

"Roger that. Grab Kickman and the fire crew and get out there pronto. Keep us updated. Over." The sheriff replies.

"Copy that." Suarez replies, keying his mic once just beforehand. He turns to everyone and says, "Hey folks, it's nothing to worry about. Continue having fun, we have it handled."

Megana can hear more chatter on his radio as he quickly jogs to Marty Swenson's vehicle lot. The town's firetruck is already on the move with two men, adorned in fireproof, yellow firefighter suits, wide brimmed yellow hard hats with face shields and the tall, black fireproof boots. Suarez jumps into the passenger side. Kickman is driving, they peel out, honking their horn and flashing their red and white lights, attempting to disperse the crowd. Vendors are forced to quickly move their stands out of the way.

Sam just stares in disbelief at the inconsideration of some of the crowd, taking their sweet time to move, like it's not an emergency. He looks visibly and intensely upset for some reason. The other couple takes the deputy's advice and continue on. Sam frowns, glances at Meg and remarks, "Some people are just stupid and self-serving." He walks over and leans against the butcher shop's wall, trying to calm down.

Mr. Andy Lee peeks his head outside of his shop and grins, "You youngins want to sample some of my new spiced cheddar sausages?" As he holds out a plate with two full sized sausages, smothered in fermented spiced cabbage and an assortment of sauces dotting the edges of the plate. Sauces include mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, barbeque sauce, ranch dressing and salty garlic onion puree. It seems to calm Sam down.
