"Well, let's hurry and get there and see what we can do to help out," Vi rushes Teddy.
The fifteen minute trip isn't fun for Vi, just over halfway there, each bump becomes increasingly painful. They crest and descend a few hills until they finally crest a hill which overlooks the remains of a fire. Deputy Kickman and Suarez, along with six of the town's firefighters are loading up the firehoses and congratulating each other.
Off to the side, where a tiny bit of smoke is still rising, looks to be some sort of armored suit with long wings. What look to be pop can sized missiles are laying several yards away from the smoldering remains. Then Vi sees the body bag, which looks occupied, laying near the firetruck. Someone didn't make it.
Deputy Kickman notices the two as Teddy hops begins to hop out of the carriage to spectate. "Hold it right there, Swenson. I don't care who your dad is. This is an active crime scene. Go back to the festival and let's not talk about what you saw."
"Umm, right. Like I'd keep this from my friends. What are you going to do? Arrest me?" Teddy's usual personality is shining through as Vi recognises the familiar action of balling up his fists. She does the same.
Kickman stops what he's doing, reaches for his handcuffs and begins marching straight at Teddy. Teddy promptly and nimbly hops back into the carriage, "Okay okay. Mum's the word!" and, "Hya!" as the carriage pulls around and begins moving.
"That's what I thought!" Kickman nods knowingly.
