After Anastasia and all decide what this creature is and no harm to anyone really, "I think its safe we just go ahead and move on..It seems safe enough at this point unless Daniel finds out something new for us."

Daniel looks at the trail of slime and looks back at the group, " I can track it down. Maybe kill it and we have more food or we can move on. Up to all of you. And darl can u create rifts for traveling? "

"Let the creature be I say. We might as well keep making our way if we hope to have a chance to find any of the group."

Anastasia still looking around in hopes of maybe finding out something else, but unfortunately nothing at this point, turns to Daniel, "I think so too..let him live..he seems to be of no harm to us at this point..we can find other sources of food along the way."
Anastasia gets back into the atv and is ready to adventure on.

Seeing as everyone is in agreement , Daniel takes to the air once again. As his wings push the air down , giving him lift, the win created gives a slight breeze going past the party in the atv.
" Ok then. Let's get moving kids" Daniel flies ahead of the party returningtothe reconnaissance.

The bump of the vehicle moving again stirs Darl from his meditation.

"So ... did we not find any sign of a wagon crossing that slime track? Or did we not bother to check?" he asks.

OOC: In other words, to not be so subtle, if one of the Wilderness Scout type personas would care to check they need to post what skills or skills they would like to use and exactly what it is they are hoping to accomplish by using that skill.

"I'll go and take a closer look to see about that anyone want to accompany me?" Gerard heads back over to the slime trail to look and see if there are any wagon tracks or any other tracks he recognizes that have crosses the slimetrail staying alert for any kind of ambush and/or people/things in hiding as he looks.

OCC- Will use tracking, intelligence, detect ambush/concealment, wilderness scout, and land navigation(if Gerard sees anything to get an idea of where they/it went). Gerard wants the best overall picture using various skills he has.

Anastasia is quick to help like usual.
"I am willing to help in anyways I can as always." as she says with a smile on her face.
Anastasia gives herself some room and concentrates on 2 of her spells to help
"I would just like to try something real quick if you all don't mind."

OOC: Hey! No fair just cutting and pasting your entire skill set! Lol. I couldn't think of any way that Wilderness Scout applied in this situation, but here's a summary of what the use of your others skills got you. Let me know what you plan to do next (ie. Return to the group, examine something else more carefully, etc.)

IC: Gerard very carefully and cautiously studies the slime trail in either direction. The first thing he notices is that the trail appears to be heading from right to left of the direction the group is travelling. He also notes that the slug trail is unbroken by any traffic on the path itself. In other words, no one has passed this way since the slug did.

Heading off in the direction that the slug went Gerard tracks the creature as he looks out for any sort of trap or concealed threat. The trail continues in the same rough direction, unbroken, for about 1000 yards before the trail just stops. Gerard is unable to tell if this was a strategic move on the part of the slug or if it just got bored of travelling overland and dissappeared into the ground instead.

Cautiously looking around, Gerard realizes that if the creature were to have used this tactic to set a trap, it would be a crafty place to do it since Gerard skirted the edge of a steep, low hill and the creature could have used the hill to hide itself and wait to spring it's trap. Keeping this in mind, Gerard examines the area for any sort of concealed creatures and sees none.

As Daniel takes off to scout ahead and Gerard scouts the slime trail, the ATV starts moving again, going slow as to allow Gerard time to catch up. Anastasia sits quietly in her seat and concentrates on casting a spells. Anastasia-Zoë casts her senses out to any spirits that might be in the area, but the only presence she feels is that of the planet itself. As always, the planet does not respond to any attempts to communicate with it directly. The part of her that is Zoë warns her back from trying to delve too deeply.

Having failed to find any spirits to commune with, Anastasia then casts her mind out to the limits of her abilities (10 miles) to see if she can sense any places of evil. If there are any evil beings out there, they are not within range of the spell or they are not a large enough of a presence for her to detect.
