Daniel walks over to Gaerard and takes a look at the list .

" Well the Orb of Lodin , Travels of Jan Farstrider , Teslas staff, Multiple notebooks of unknown content , and two bloodstones .. The orb we are lost on so far ... a fairtale book , i have no idea .. Teslas staff , from where i am from testa was a russian scientist who invented an eletric coil that could eletricute people , and the notebooks , i think i found them under Malaki's hand , as for the bloodstones .. what the hell are those ? This guy either needs to get a hobbie for all these things do actually serve a purpose .... What do you guys think? " Daniel says to the group as a whole .

"Good accounting of things and didnt know the information about Tesla's history. You said his hand was on the notebooks, did you see anything in your visions or what you call them that might of seen Father Maleki trying to point us towards any certain notebook or books? And yes it is a strange mix of things overall."

Eyeing Daniel with particular interest, Brother Tobius responds "Blood stones are magical stones that can be used for things such as healing. Perhaps you have seen them used by our priests. Wormwood provides them to us as an aid in our struggles against evil."

Looking over the note as well, Jordan makes an observation. "You see that blood stain next to the note about the staff? I wonder how that got there?" Raising his head to look at Gerard he asks "Where did you say you found this note?"

Gerard recalls having found the note on the floor not far from the outstretched arm of Father Malaki. It was wadded up as though having been clutched in Father Malaki's hand.

Thinking back, Darl recalls from his vision that the Father's hand had been clutched at one point, at the time it would have seemed clutched in pain, but it is possible that it concealed this piece of paper.

Daniel looks at Tobius , " Such things as healing ? What other applications could bloodstones be used for ? Weapons perhaps ? Keeping eyeing me like that Tobius , I may begin to thing you might have a un-healthy liking for me ..... As for Tesla , I belive that was back in the early 1900's re-rift earth . During the world wars . "

Daniel looks around the room with a more detailed eye to look for other things that might be " out of place " for this room .

"There uses are many and varied." Brother Tobius explains. "Primarily they enhance ones abilities or give the wearer protection against the elements, fatigue, and so forth. Some, very rare ones, can be imprinted with any spell at all. I do not personally know which ones Father Malaki kept in his office."

Scowling, Tobius says flatly "You are a very crass human being and definitely not my ideal choice for a partner; but thank you for the history lesson." Speaking to the room in general he continues "If you have no immediate need of me I will be in my office. Please let me know your findings." Without waiting for a response, Tobius turns and follows through on his statement.

As Daniel can see, everything is out of place. Nothing in particular catches his attention, though.

Darl, coming out of his latest trance, indicates that he has gotten everything he thinks he's going to get from this room. "Would you all accompany me for one last reading outside? I hope to find what direction the demon went after killing the guards."

Anastasia listens very carefully to Brother Tobius but wondering what he might be hiding as he seems suspisious in some ways and maybe holding back some information thats vital to what our group needs and doesn't want to give it up to help us out.
"Well, dislike or not however the feeling you may have towards any of us at this time, we were trying to help Father Malaki and he in turn was trying to help us. Now we have been patient and we have searched out the town for answers only to come up with nothing but hostility and a distinct dislike for us in wanting us to get the hell outta town bit. As I have tried over and over we need to work together and do our best to solve this and then get outta here soon. So first lets cut the dislike problem and work together. 2nd lets help with getting a new spell renedered and get what ever information we can get for it may be the last. I for one am ready to go,"

After curiously watching Tobius take his leave and listening to Anastasia Jordan says to the empty doorway "I really don't think that man has a sense of humor." Turning back to Anastasia he replies "You're right, we need to wrap this up before things turn ugly. I don't know that Tobius is hiding anything, but I do know we...or at least the three of us...agreed to find and retrieve the orb. Father Malaki's death is a terrible thing, but we may need to leave solving that mystery to the priests if we're going to catch up to the thief."

"From the couple things you've told us, Darl, the death is obviously related, but if the demon had the orb there wouldn't have been a reason to torture the Father for information about it." Jordan says. "It seems to me that the note you found, Gerard, may hold the clues to who the true thief is."

"Darl, I'm ready for the next reading as soon as everyone else is." He says as he looks expectantly at The Redeemer and Daniel to see if they're ready as well.

Daniel pulls away from the wall , " Ok , i'm up for the second run of this circus. Outside to the guards area , right ? "

Daniel starts to head bak outside and waits near the doorway where the two guards were found dead.

{OOC: Mark, Let me know if Gerard follows the group or stays in the room and what he's doing.}

The group once again convenes in preparation for Darl to cast another spell. Although the bodies of the guards have been removed, the stench of blood still wafts through the air. Blood stains the ground where they once lay.

Darl sets up at the corner of the building where he can get a good look at the streets leading away from the church and casts his spell...

The demon stands from it's grisly task of collecting the draining blood and turns towards where spectral Darl is standing. It walks with long steady strides and rounds the corner where Darl watches it walk past the front of the church and then it once again disappears into shadow. It was there, and then it was gone. If it continued on in that direction, it was headed the general direction that Darl came into town. {OOC: If we call demon territory North, then the demon was walking East.} Darl stares into the empty darkness for a bit longer before the spell fades and he is returned to the present.

Anastasia looks over at Gerard and just within her notices theres just something about him but not quite sure what but is curious about one thing, "Hey Gerard, how did YOU come across this town? We all kinda know where we all came from and how we ended up here for one reason or another."
As Anastasia waits for his answer, she waits for Darl to give some answers as well to see if theres anymore of an answer so they can get out of town. Or maybe Gerard has something he saw on the way here or something we can put together.
