Reggie nods back, "Okay, dad."
Then he tries to figure out the easiest way to carry both the woman and himself on Apple. Maybe holding her in front of himself? As he tries to figure out how to carry the two of them on Apple, he understands that chaining her up and sitting right next to her defeats the purpose if she's compromised in any way. He may have to take a chance or lock her up and walk beside the horse.

Reggie will climb up onto Apple and then have someone lift the woman up to him. He'll situate her in front of him and try to hold her steady as they head back to town.

Reggie climbs onto Apple and then hoists her up as Al and Hank lift her to him. He gets her situated as he heads out, faithful that the odds are ever in his favor. Upon making it back to town, he spots Dr Anderson outside of the clinic. Nova is up the street, visiting with Ret, who's having the worst time trying to maintain eye contact with her odd orange eyes. Even Reggie has found himself either thinking she might dive at him to eat him or having mild flashbacks of the attack on town.
Doctor Anderson immediately notices the unconscious woman and trots over, "Woah, Reg, what is this? I just had a fella show up here with his dead lady? Are there more coming?" He reaches up to help her down.

"Dunno yet Doc, she passed out before she could say much. She may be another refugee, but Lt. Mikado wants her restrained just in case. Dad and the SAMAS team are keeping an eye on the Lines. The one south of town is acting up."
Easing the girl down to Doc Anderson, Reggie continued, "I figured you can patch her up at least. Maybe handcuff her to the bed until Dad and the Lieutenant have time to talk to her and decide on things."

"Oh geez! Again?" The doctor's question confuses Reggie. He hasn't heard anything about the lines being active recently.
Easing the girl down to Doc Anderson, Reggie continues, "I figured you can patch her up at least. Maybe handcuff her to the bed until Dad and the Lieutenant have time to talk to her and decide on things."
"We saw how that worked with Nova. Unless..." Dr. Anderson shakes his head, dismissing a thought, "If we had someone strong enough to watch her." He looks over the woman, "She's definitely dehydrated and the sunburn will be painful."
Reggie helps the doctor carry her into the clinic as Apple snorts in protest, probably wanting an apple, which is his usual ritual once they're done scouting. Upon reaching one of the beds, which happens to be the same one that Nova was in, the doctor points at the new metal bar as he handcuffs some incredibly thick handcuffs to the bar, then to the woman. He attempts to apply an IV, but seems to find some difficulty. "Well, that hasn't happened in a while. She's so dehydrated that she's a hardstick..." which is a term for someone with a difficult or elusive vein. He looks up, "Reg, would you grab a squeeze bottle of water? I don't want to damage her anymore than she already is."

As they carry the woman inside, Reggie rolls his eyes at the horse's theatrics, "Not yet Apple, we'll be heading back out again soon."
At Doctor Anderson's request, Reg replies, "Sure thing, Doc." and heads over to get a squeeze bottle and fill it with water.
As he brings it back he comments, "If you want someone to keep an eye on our mystery woman, I saw Nova down the street. I could ask if she's willing before I head back to the line."

"That's actually a great idea. If I remember right, she's incredibly strong." the doctor smiles, yet frowns a moment later, "I'm still not convinced that she's completely safe, but in this case, we need her."

"Doc, none of us are 'completely safe', we all can do harm to protect ourselves or those we love."
Handing over the squeeze bottle he waits to see if Doc Anderson needs any further assistance.
Once the doctor doesn't need him he'll head back out to Apple, giving the horse a pat on the neck. He looks down the street to see if Nova's still talking to Ret. If she is still there (with or without Ret), he leads Apple over to her.
"Hey Nova, you free for a while? Doc Anderson could use a hand." If she's willing or asks what the issue is, Reggie will say "I brought in a mystery woman who was wandering out by the Lines before she passed out. The LT wants her kept under observation and restraint until he and Dad can talk to her, but they are in the middle of something right now."

The doctor smiles, "Thanks, Reg. I think I've got it from here. Go see if Nova is available," and proceeds to try and give the woman a few drops of water at a time.
Reggie heads back out to Apple, giving the horse a pat on the neck. Apple keeps nudging Reggie with his side, hoping he produces an apple slice as reward for a hard day's work. Reggie looks down the street to see if Nova's still talking to Ret. There they are, laughing about something. He leads Apple towards them, who continually pesters him for his treat.
"Hey, Reg. Have you read the newest books that Sue brought in?" Ret gushes, "I'm trying to get Nova to read it."
"Yeah, no..." Nova smirks, "Sue doesn't really like me anyways."
"Hey Nova, you free for a while? Doc Anderson could use a hand."
Her smirk fades, "What happened? Am I in trouble?"

"What's that have to do with me?" She frowns, "Just because I'm different, he thinks I might know what happened to her?"

Reggie gives her a slightly puzzled look. "No, the Doc just needs someone to keep an eye on her, let him know if she wakes up, slowly feed her water to help with her dehydration, that sorta thing. Ret could do the job just as well, or both of you if you want to continue your conversation. Drive City got hit by the Pecos Bandits, we had a refugee show up earlier today, she might be another, we don't know."
"I just figured if she does wake up she'd rather another girl watching over her than a guy."
