OOC: Please respond to post: Deadmans Hand - Festival Day - Three-Legged Race, I'll start the race and then we can get responses from each player on what they want to do.

OOC: Back from the Three Legged Race!

Megana blushes a darker hue as Sam kisses her. Hearing his words, without his lips moving makes her slowly melt to his touch as she closes her eyes, losing herself into his embrace. She can hear Dane nervously talking about his win with Miss Hoffman, but Megana doesn't care. She hears Johnny tell Frank that the sack races are next. She doesn't care. This is her first kiss, ever.

With her eyes shut, she can still hear Sam, "I am the luckiest guy in the world..." Is all she hears, the rest seems like emotional noise from some other realm of existence; a place she would love to be if she isn't already there. She feels his soft hands affectionately cup her face.

"Woah! You two can come up for air," She hears Steve, but neither care. "Alright Maya, sack races?" He keeps talking to Maya as their conversation trails off as they leave. Even the overcrowded noise of the festival sounds so distant. Just Megana and Sam, whoever this boyishly handsome guy is.

Megana pull away for air "i-i should go see what time the horse races are...wanna come with me sam?" Shes a blushing mess....as she looks in his eyes with a warm smile.

She hears him faintly say, "Heck yea!" Once again, without moving his lips, then, "I bet she looks even better racing on th..." and just like that, his whispering voice seems to fade away.

She notices that Frank and Johnny and Brad and Kendal have left. It looks as though Dane is desperately trying to remove the knot holding himself to Miss Hoffman, who sounds like she's trying to get Dane alone. Miss Hoffman doesn't appear to care about the age gap between her and Dane. Although, she looks younger than she is.

"It's only 10 A.M., your race is at noon," Sam looks up from checking his watch. He gently interlocks his fingers into hers, and asks, "Where to next?"

"What would you like to check out?"Megana softly spoke as she squeezes sam's hand gently for a second.

"What would you like to check out?" Megana softly asks as she gently squeezes Sam's hand.

He gives her a double squeeze back as he looks up. "How about the ferris wheel?"

The ferris wheel is private in comparison to the main street as Megana notices that Dane and Miss Hoffman are also in line for the ferris wheel. They're holding hands like a couple, which is odd. Deputy Kickman walks by them, staring, like he's just witnessed a serious crime. He stops near Megana and Sam, still staring. Eventually Kickman grabs his radio and asks, "This is Kickman, what's the situation with Miss Hoffman's protection order against minors?"

Sam squeezes Megana's hand, leans in to whisper into her ear, "What's going on?"

Megana seems confused as well"whats going on sheriff....we havnt done anything wrong..." she squeezes Sam's hand and trying to figure outwhats going on..

Megana also seems confused, "What's going on, sheriff? We haven't done anything wrong..." she squeezes Sam's hand.

Deputy Kickman nods to Megana as he waits for a reply, "Oh hey, Meg. It's not about you. I was asking about a different Meg. Sorry to worry you." He flashes a semi-handsome smile as he turns his back when his radio crackles with a response.

"Hey Perry. This is Joe. I wouldn't worry about it for now. Not unless she's involved in more of her deviant activities with Dane. I'm sure that George will set them both straight. George is okay with his boy hanging out with her. So, let it go for now."

The mic keys as Deputy Kickman replies, "Copy that," and then continues on his way, leaving Megana and Sam.

Megana looks up at sam then the deputy then sam again "whatever that was....shall we ride the ferris wheel before i go check on my horse?"

Megana glances back and forth between Sam and Kickman, "Whatever that was. Shall we ride the ferris wheel before I go check on my horse?"

Sam nods enthusiastically.

Over the next several minutes, people board and exit the ferris wheel. Eventually, Sam and Megana board the ride after Sam pays. It resembles a giant plastic bucket with seats. Their gondola raises with each new group getting on the ride. Soon, they're both able to view the entire town, people failing miserably on the obstacle course, the Native American part of the festival, and the fields and streams beyond.

Sam gently kisses Megana on the cheek as she takes in the view. She's never seen it from this high up. Upon looking at Sam, she can no longer hear him talking, without actually talking. He looks into her eyes, "How come we've never met before?" he asks as he affectionately traces her face with the back of his fingers.
