OOC: What language are you responding in? You recognized his earlier statement as Demongogian.

Darl looks over at the stranger, pockets the coin-like object, and studies him for a moment before responding in turn, "Looking for something? Well, I suppose you could say that I am. But then again, I suppose you could say that about anybody."

He then switches over to the common tongue. "... and as for sticking out, I might say the same of any stranger in town, especially those spouting off questions in Demon tongue, only hours after a Demon raid."

"In any case," he adds, switching back to Demon, "... perhaps you'll be willing to expand on what you are inferring, just in case I've misunderstood?"

Daniel looks at Gerard , speaking in american english , " You join me here , sure I don't have a problem with that man . " Then Daniel turns back to Darl still speaking american english , " It looks like Demon , the lot of ya are looking for something . Myself i am lookin for a crtain demon that has left a string of dead bodies wherever it goes .. tourtures them and lets nature finish them off .. and it looks like your girlfriend there was at the last victim of this demon, at least thats what the tracks I been following sugests . So maybe we all can be a help to each other . What do you say there Demon ? "

Daniel waits for his water and what these possible new companions of his have to say or do .

Darl stands to his full height, crooking his neck slightly to avoid brushing against the bar roof. He studies the stranger, looking for any details which would provide a clue as to their background or calling. Walking over to the man's table, he allows his figure to tower over the stranger; forcing him to look up.

"You propose an alliance, and yet throw insults with every breath. Let's give you the benefit of a doubt, and pretend for a moment that you're reckless, and not simply stupid." Darl pauses, reading the man's eyes to judge his reaction. "Well, it appears we've already got brains, brawn, and beauty covered ... what do you propose to offer?"

Daniel looks up at the demon , " Insulting ? " Daniel smiles and continues ," If I was insulting you , trust me you would know it . Now you say you got , braun , brains , and beauty covered ? are you talking bout yourself or all of you combine ? "

Daniel stands up and looks the Demon in the face , " Now you say something bout what do i have to offer ? i can actually ask you that same question .. Don't you know kid , looks ain't everything . Besides how many of you know anything of the medical field ? Or know how to not be noticed while playing hide and seek ? "

Daniel smiles at the thought of a good fight .
