Gerard, Anastasia, Daniel, Belle

Gerard stays where he is covering the others as he listens to the conversation. He also looks around searching for anymore threats. "Should we still worry about those fish you mentioned?" Gerard looks at the two newcomers and wonders if he has ever come across either of them in his past travels, but he does not recognize either one.

The masked figure walks over to the other Apok and holds out its hand. The hand is finer boned than one might expect but is still surprisingly muscular. "Dark Belle," the figure states to the other similarly masked figure. Since becoming an Apok, has had no chance to actually meet another.

Jordan sheaths his now clean sword as well, lifts his Apok mask off his face, tucks it under his arm and takes Belle's hand in friendship. "I'm Jordan, well met miss Belle." Jordan replies. The previous exuberance he showed while killing goblins has been replaced by a more melancholy persona. "Thank you for your joining our little party. Unfortunately, the guests of honor seemed to have all expired. What a pity, wouldn't you say?" His voice conveys a tone of seriousness rather than the jocularity that the words by themselves would seem to imply.

The still masked figure looks around at everybody to see if she can get a pulse of how this group interacts. Is she and Jonesy the only strangers or are some of the others not fitting in with the group dynamic. Does not worry if they look foul. All that glitters is not gold after all. She gets the sense that they are all together, but she hasn't seen the group interact enough to know for certain or to what extent. {OOC: I will leave it up to your future interactions with them for you to determine more than that.}

Other than the flying creature they all appear to be what they seem....except she does a double take as she looks again at the young girl, Anastasia. The girl appears to be about 15, but appearances can indeed be deceiving; especially when combined with the fact that she has a slight but beautiful glow about her and there are ethereal ectoplasmic tendrils that sway around her as if blown about by an unseen breeze. They remind her of another creature that she's heard of, but she can't quite place her finger on it... Belle feels drawn to her as if having just met a kindred spirit.

As Anastasia looks at the stranger and then sees the other one appear, she listens to what she is saying and remembers what they found back at the wagon and all the bodies ..the horrible site and what all had to be done. "Well we remember that wagon and we can direct you to where it was or we can go with you. It just depends on what everyone wants to do as we were trying to get to the city as soon as possible. We should all decide what to do and help if we can."

The man speaks up hesitantly "We...uh...we didn't have a wagon. I fear that that was somebody else."

Still wearing the mask, the Dark Belle nods to Anastasia, "Might I ask how far away the wagon was?"

"it would have been nice if we could have questioned one of them" Belle responds to Jordon. She looks around one last time and takes off her own mask. She is a beauty under the mask. There is an aristocratic cast to her features which indicates some very pedigreed bloodlines.

"I met their queen one," she continues. (ooc: Didn't see anything in her background indicating that she could not have.) Mostly, I was a bit jealous at the time but she is a real piece of work. My understanding is that her goblins are extremely loyal however." With her mask off, he voice seems to soften.

"Not your wagon," Belle shakes her head. "I really don't know what else I can do. Not much of a tracker."

Daniel lands and sees two new people joining the party . He hears the masked one call itself "Dark Belle" .
Daniel slightly folds his wings behind him as he turns towards "Dark Belle" and extents his hand with the with the bolts.

"Well I don't know how many you fired there .But here are four of them "

After handing the bolts to her . Daniel searches the goblin that fell down the hill for possibly more bolts for the crossbow he aquired.
As he searches he says with a happy tone ,"Looks like I got some goodies for some of you . Oh and my name is Daniel Manson . "

[giggles]

Anastasia looks over to Gerard to answer his question first, "I don't think we have to worry about the flying fish at this point, at least for now, but of course I think we should keep an eye open for anything that may appear no matter what it may be at this point and be ready to dispose as quickly as possible so we don't get in over our heads even tho we may have some extra help as it appears now."

Anastasia then turns to the man and woman and notices the woman looking at her oddly, but answers right away, "Oh, well whoever it was that lost everyone in that wagon ..what a pity and yes its just down the road towards Newhome. Why do you ask?"

Anastasia trying to wait for an answer but with Daniel handing the bolts to this woman known to us now as the Dark Belle, "Goodies?"

Mask off, the female Apok holds out a hand and responds with a very friendly sounding, "Thank you. I think four is how many I am missing."

"Wormwood provided most of what I need," she continues. "I am more worried about those that the goblins have stolen from. Is it possible that the goblins have a stash somewhere around here?" In another life, she used to be pretty greedy herself but does not see the point anymore.

"I'll look around to see if I can find any evidence of a campsite or place they stashed things. Can one other come with me please as I think we are ok but you never know thanks." Gerard shoulders his rifle and begins looking around to pick up anything that might lead him to where the goblins were waiting or hiding. "Zeke you stay right here for a bit. Anastasia will you keep an eye on him for me so he doesn't wander off as he likes to do his own thing sometimes." Gerard smiles and turns to start searching.

[giggles]

Anastasia gets a happy smile on her face, as shes always happy to take care of Zeke, "Sure I will. You know you never have to ask or worry about his care with me>"

"if it is acceptable, Jonesy and I will accompany you to see if anything might be able to be found," Belle responds to Gerard. "Be nice to find something that they lost.

There is a note of caution and keeping an eye about what is going on. It does not seem to be directed towards the group but instead towards what else might be lurking around.

[Manson-Mage]

Daniel turns towards Gerard ,"Gerard , i dont think all us should split up .. We all should be stickin together . "
As Daniel gives his sugestion , he gathers up his chainwhip to put her back in her resting place in the backpack .
As the chain links run over his fingers , Daniel pays attention to the links and their feel .

The feeling of metal running over his skin , a slight but almost evil smile begins to appear .

Jordan raises an eyebrow in surprise at the beauty behind the mask. His calling in life doesn't leave much time or place for romantic entanglements, but he can still appreciate beauty when he sees it. "Maybe if you hadn't been so quick to steal my playmates, I could have left one alive." He tells Belle teasingly.

"That's been my understanding as well." Jordan agrees. "We heard from an outcast goblin, who by the way seems to have dissappeared while we were busy, that the goblins have been ordered home by Salene, but her orders were countermanded by a General in regards to this group. These were ordered to continue scouting the area." Looking at Jonesy he says "It appears that you were just in the wrong place."

Daniel lands near Belle as she tells Jordan her name and reveals her physical face. He slightly folds his wings behind him as he turns towards "Dark Belle" and extents his hand with the with the bolts he recovered. "Well I don't know how many you fired there, but here are four of them."

After handing the bolts to Belle. Daniel searches the goblin that fell down the hill for possibly more bolts for the crossbow he aquired. He is delighted to find four bolts that are likely the ones that had been exploding around them earlier. He also finds another 10 that appear to be standard enchanted mega-damage resin bolts.
As he searches he says with a happy tone,"Looks like I got some goodies for some of you. Oh and my name is Daniel Manson." {OOC: Once the booty is distributed, I'll update your character sheets with new equipment. Please take care of the distribution in short order so I don't lose track of what I've said you've found.}

Anastasia turns to the man and woman and notices the woman looking at her oddly, but answers right away, "Oh, well whoever it was that lost everyone in that wagon..what a pity and yes its just down the road towards Newhome. Why do you ask?"

Daniel cautions.

Gerard finds that the tracks from the three goblins that attacked Jordan lead down the road towards Newhome until the embankement levels out some. The goblins apparently came down the hillside at that point and laid in wait to ambush the group.

"Would you like to follow them, daughter?" Jordan asks Anastasia. "We may not be able to follow their footsteps directly because of Zeke, but we should be able to keep them in site. I will stay by your side either way."
