“So he’s smart enough to not face us directly, then,” Tyran responds. “We might be able to use that confidence against him, but we’re not likely to be able to catch him by surprise.” He ponders briefly, “I could turn the wolves against him, but that would require some focused preparation… I’d need about ten minutes at the lair, and he isn’t going to just stand around and let that happen!”

"I can help you track the wolves down if you want. We want to take this bastard down!" Meg offers.

Vi addresses the warriors, "Where are the rest of you? I do agree we hit them fast and hard because I want a crack at that dogboy." then the newcomers, ""Who used that lightning earlier?"

Trevor cuts in, "Noone, kid. It happens from time to time. The snow and wind can sometimes cause atmospheric disturbances. And lucky for you guys that it did!"

Adam shrugs, "If things are going badly, then the tribe knows to double back to the camp. Otherwise, push forward until we find that den. We should probably regroup with some of the other teams."

Dusty remains quiet as he tries to see into the blowing snow, which is still obscuring view after about 150 feet.

Vi then turns to dusty," hey old man what's you looking out there ??"
Vi thinks to herself about the fight and hope that everyone catches on to what she is planning.

Tyran looks around at the group, summarizing the intros so far. "So ... we've got Trevor, Adam, Megana, Ms. Who-the-fuck-are-you-but-I-aint-vounteering-my-name, and ... What do we call you?" he asks, looking at Dusty.

"Dusty..." he says absentmindedly, still gazing through the white, "I reckon it's gazin' at us. Can't be too certain... Just a gut hunch."

"So... let's get him!" Adam growls.

"That's probably what it's hoping." the old man frowns. "Something's off..."

Megana nods and readies her pistol. Ready to take on the damn dogboy and end this once and for all..

Vi looks at Adam, "You sure they will even retreat if it came down to it ? "

Megana remains vigilant, her pistol still ready as Vi addresses Adam, "You sure they will even retreat if it came down to it?"

"If there's enough of us," he answers as he glances towards the southwest, "I have a feeling we can get more from camp, but it could waste time."

Vi turns her attention to Trevor and Tyran, "What do you know about dogboys?"

Trevor shrugs, "Coalition use them. No one knows where they really came from." he glances over at T2, "How bout you?"

"Strong psychics, excellent tracking skills, advanced armour and weapons. Work best in packs. Coalition engineered them as soldiers, and sent them out in on anti-magic / anti-psychic packs, specifically to take down folks like myself and Dusty here."

"Unless they have armour, I'd suggest that any help we bring in will be more of a liability than a help. If we're doing this, we should do it now ... Tracks won't last long with all this blowing snow!"
