Vi’s eyes flutter open. “You want me with you, or you want Adam to go?”

Dusty doesn’t hesitate. “All four of us,” he says, voice flat but firm. “We’re a team. We stick together.”

Adam grins, checks his weapons, yanks his fur cap down, and swings the side door open before hopping out. Dusty follows right behind him. The moment they hit the outside, both men throw an arm up to shield their faces from the blasting snow. Dusty turns his back to the wind so the girls don’t catch the worst of it. “Alright,” he calls over the howl, trying to grin through the sting, “let’s get these sons’a bitches outta this land.”

Vi checked her armor and jumps out after Dusty.

"Aye" Megana spoke checking her armor and furs then hopped out with the keys secured in her armor as she follows the group to battle.

The four-man warrior teams fan out across the snow while Adam, Dusty, Vi, and Meg head straight toward the spot where they last saw the wolves. The snow is thinner here, trampled down by deer and wolves passing through after each storm. As they push forward, some of the loose powder starts packing into the creases of the girls’ armor, slowly creeping upward and threatening to clog the edges of their visors.

As Vi walks through the snow , her visor starts to get snow covered. Vi tries to shake her head in hopes to shake off the snow but with no avail , so she uses her hand and wipes her visor clear of snow .

Terrified shouts erupt from the left through the thick haze of blowing snow. Up ahead, Megana and Vi hear the sounds of wolves attacking something.

Megana quickly gets behind cover with a tree.. as she waits to strike with the group
