"Well it wasn't just you as I'm sure Zeke also heard something. I think we should still at least watch in pairs so nobody is alone." Gerard heads to one of his packs to see what other weapons he might want to have handy.

OOC: Okay, for those checking out the noises, what exactly is your plan?

As Daniel and Gerard look on, trying to decide how to proceed, there is an audible clank followed immediately by a soft, high pitched "ayee" and the ATV starts pulling away at a rapidly increasing rate. The ATV swerves and narrowly misses a large pillar as a ragged bulbous head with a spike of black hair sticking out the top pops up in the driver's seat with just barely enough height to see over the steering wheel. No one in the group got a good enough look to accurately tell what or who just stole Ethram's ATV.

Anastasia looks in horror and wonders what just happened as she notices the looks on the others faces, "Did you all see that, I mean what or who that was? I certainly didn't see much of anything ..it just happened so fast!"

Daniel starts running after the atv and takes flight. As he lifts into the air, he yells out "Our ride is gettin jacked!!!"

Daniel takes carefull aim with his hand and fires off a low end shadow blast at the back of the drivers seat as he flies after the atv.

"And once again Zeke is right I will never hear the end of this from him." Gerard says to himself as he grabs his rifle and seeing others look after the ATV he will look for any friends the mysterious atv driver might have brought along. OCC- detect conceal/ambush "Everyone stick with someone we dont want to get seperated." Gerard looks to see where Anastasia is and also what Zeke is doing in case he has to ride after someone or something.

A blast of cold, dark non-light flies from the deathly pale fingers of the transformed Daniel and streaks towards the careening ATV. It seems to suck in the light around it as it plunges into the seat causing a shower of debris as the seat takes significant damage. The ATV jerks to the side as a loud "yipe" comes from the thief. It bounces wildly off the side of a pillar as the driver tries to regain control. The ATV continues it's trajectory parallel to the cave mouth as it travels along the side of the hill.

Gerard scans the area looking for any accomplices, but sees none. The night seems to be still, with the one obvious exception. Zeke's head is raised and his ears perked forward as he watches the ATV disappearing from view of the cave entrance.

"Hey! Don't destroy it, I need that ATV to get home!" Ethram calls out to Daniel upon seeing the damage he inflicted on the unsuspecting seat. "Ohhh... Brother Tobius is gonna kill me!" he says with chagrin.

(Ooc: sorry everyone I been hella busy with work. Yesterday was a 10 day. I will try and post more often as things go along. And joe was that shadow blast at the lowest power? )

OOC: yes it was, but you still did 4 points of mdc damage to a poor, defenseless sec seat.

"I'm sure he's just trying to stop the thief and I will see if I can do anything to help repairs providing we get that ATV back. Never a dull moment on Wormwood eh?" Gerard cracks a smirk. "I'm trying to think what in the world that creature or being might be as well as I have seen many kinds in my travels."
