Reggie puts the mirror back down. "Alright, sir. I should go and keep an eye out anyways." He gestures to the mirror, "She may want to look at herself when she wakes up again."

He heads back out front, retrieving his spade as he goes. Once outside, he'll patrol around the building, watching for survivors or the Dead who may be approaching. The former get a welcome and directions to where they can be checked for injuries, the later, he'll go and get backup before confronting them.

Reggie puts the mirror back down. "Alright, sir. I should go and keep an eye out anyways." He gestures to the mirror, "She may want to look at herself when she wakes up again."

He heads back out front, retrieving his spade as he goes. Once outside, he notices a few dozen people taking up arms and standing guard. Two people strike his interest. A rough looking Hispanic man, wearing a beanie hat and wielding a hatchet. The other is a raven haired woman, wielding an assault rifle with a bayonet. What he finds so interesting is that he's never seen them before. Camp Wilson is small, everyone knows everyone else.

His thoughts are interrupted as a gunshot rings out from inside the Sheriff's office, where Shep is currently walking up the steps, inside of his shiny new power armor. One of the Coalition SAMAS' tosses two corpses outside of the front of the building.

Reggie drifts over towards the newcomers, though at the sound of the gunshot, he does jolt around to face the sheriff's office, swinging his spade around to a combative stance. He relaxes again as the SAMAS tosses out the corpses, not looking to close, he doesn't really want to identify them right now.

As he approaches the newcomers, he says, "Hi, I'm Reggie. I'd say 'welcome to Lake Crenshaw', but we're not exactly at our best right now."

He'll keep an eye on the alleys as he talks with the pair. The woman presumably knows how to use her rifle, better than Reggie could certainly. "Just so you know, head shots are the most effective way to put these things down."

Reggie drifts over towards the newcomers. At the sound of the gunshot, he jolts around to face the sheriff's office, swinging his spade around to a combative stance. He relaxes again as the SAMAS tosses out the corpses, not looking too close, he doesn't really want to identify them right now. As he approaches the newcomers, he says, "Hi, I'm Reggie. I'd say 'welcome to Camp Wilson', but we're not exactly at our best right now."

"Bit jumpy there, aren't you, hombre?" the man teases, adjusting his beanie. "Pleased to meet you, Reggie. I'm Hunter. But... most people know me as... The Hunter," he winks.

He keeps an eye on the alleys as he talks with the pair. The woman presumably knows how to use her rifle, better than Reggie could certainly. "Just so you know, head shots are the most effective way to put these things down."

She stops, brushing back her hair and shouldering her rifle, "I'm aware," she nods slowly, gauging her words carefully, "I'm just passing through and came across this... shit show," she's pretty, with the brightest blue eyes, with a rather abrupt personality, "My name isn't important. I don't plan to stay for long. Just trying to help."

"Oof!" Hunter jokes, "You know what that means, ese?" He elbows Reggie, "She's seen some serious shit. I mean... so have I but... eh never mind," like this is a fun day for him.

Moments later, Ret runs up beside the trio, "Hey Reg. The doc wants a word," he nods back towards the clinic while wagging his thumb the same direction. "Nova woke up already. She asked for you."

The two visitors are a little odd, but they are helping deal with The Not So Quiet Dead, so he won't press them. Besides, that's more Dad's job. Maybe Shep's the way thing have been going.

As Ret passes along the Doc's request, Reggie raises an eyebrow. 'Nova's awake already?', he thinks to himself.

He tells Ret, "Okay," turns and nods to the pair of wanderers, then heads inside. He looks for the Doc first, he may have some rules on what Reggie is allowed to talk about or do for Nova.

"Oof!" Hunter jokes, "You know what that means, ese?" He elbows Reggie, "She's seen some serious shit. I mean... so have I but... eh never mind," like this is a fun day for him. The two visitors are a little odd, but they are helping deal with The Not So Quiet Dead, so he won't press them. Besides, that's more Dad's job. Maybe Shep's the way thing have been going.

Moments later, Ret runs up beside the trio, "Hey Reg. The doc wants a word," he nods back towards the clinic while wagging his thumb the same direction. "Nova woke up already. She asked for you."

Reggie raises an eyebrow. oO(Nova's awake already?)Oo he thinks to himself, "Okay," and turns, nodding to the pair of wanderers, then heads inside. Hunter waves, smiling like it's a great day and glad to see Reg.

Reggie quickly finds Doctor Anderson as Ret disappears somewhere else in the clinic... again. The doctor closes the door to his office, "She only lasted about ten to fifteen minutes on heavy sedation. She specifically asked for you or Kar. Since we can't find Kar, you're our best option." He sighs while he scans through the medical charts, "She's an anomaly and is physiologically different from us while still functioning mostly the same. Drugs barely affect her and she's incredibly strong. Reggie, I need you to keep her occupied and calm. Do you think you can keep her calm and entertained? We can't have her, at best, rampaging around, destroying everything. Or at worst, fully turning on us."

"Hiya Nova, how are you feeling? Did the Doc help you with the mirror?"

"No, he didn't," she replies dryly. "I feel mostly like me, you know. They don't have to strap me down. I get that it's for everyone else to be sure. So, if I'm supposed to be stuck here, like this, then would you just talk to me?"

OOC: Regardless of how Reggie goes about it, how do you feel about completing the character and doing a time jump?

OOC: Time jump is fine (once I finally decided on a character class for Reggie 8P )

Reggie retrieves the mirror and brings it over to Nova, holding it up so she can see her face (at least he thinks she can see her reflection from that angle, he's looking at the back of the mirror after all), he'll comply with any adjustments she requests regarding the mirror's positioning.

"So, I've been out of town for several hours. Dad sent me, Mazur, and Jack to help Shep find some 'weapon' Shep's dad had hidden up in Lake Crenshaw, we found it and brought back a little help besides. Wasn't expecting those Coalition guys to be here when we got back."

Reggie retrieves the mirror and brings it over to Nova, holding it up so she can see her face (at least he thinks she can see her reflection from that angle, he's looking at the back of the mirror after all), he'll comply with any adjustments she requests regarding the mirror's positioning. She keeps mentioning to shift left or tilt right, but just ends up laughing, "I saw for a second. I suppose we could get those fancy colored contacts in Lake Crenshaw." Nova, still as pretty as ever, has always felt lonely. Everyone notices, yet, this time, Reggie notices that for once, she doesn't seem that way. She tries to grab his hand. "Lt Col. Daniels saved me, but I'd say that now you're keeping me alive."

"That's good, Reg," she smiles weakly, as though tired again, "When this is all over, will you take me to Lake Crenshaw? I have some friends you should meet. I think you'd like them." She slowly falls asleep, trying to hold Reggie's hand.
