"Yes, I think that is the first order of business here; finding safe haven and figuring out where we are. The tree is our best option for that," Tyran adds.
Kira nods, "If it's all the same to you, I think our best option is to fix the schooner. I'll stay behind, get it to shore and begin working on it. Ill need help though." She says, looking to Raven.
Raven nods, "Fine, Ill stay behind. We need to keep an eye on her anyways," He glances towards the Altarain. "We also will need wood. I think between Kila, the horse, Ricky and myself. We should be able to get the necessary wood to fix it." He glances to Kira, 'Are you sure you can fix it?"
"How hard could it be?" Kira winks.
Cassandra states, "If we have no other means, we have two legs so let us get moving towards the tree." and begins strolling in the direction of the tree, silhouetting the horizon.
Lori moves up beside Cassandra, "From what little I know of Atlantis, there's a lot of beings there who might consider me a tasty snack, and trusting slavers seems like a bad idea anyways."
Tyran reaches into his pocket and pulls out a treat for Dirk as the falcon finally catches up to the group after missing the teleport. As the bird takes to the air again, he rises, joining the group marching towards the tree.
***************************
The journey towards the tree takes longer than expected. The twilight sky arrives after what seems like several miles of walking. The tree still is just on the horizon. Dirk finishes aerial reconnaissance, swoops down and perches on Tyran's shoulder to rest, nearly squashing Bill. Tyran can sense his disdain for the bird of prey. Then Bill goes back to sleep. His feet ache from walking; each step sending a brief throb up his ankles, into his lower leg muscles.
Meanwhile, Lori finds the walk rather relaxing. It somewhat reminds her of stories her parents had told her of the Old Kingdom, from their homeland. The air seems cold and damp, with the fresh smell of evaporating rainfall. Faeries occasionally chatter from their mounds, however, they never come near.
Cassandra finds the walk exhileratingly peaceful. The closer they get to the tree, the more playful and high spirited she seems to feel.
What seems like a few hours, late at night, the trio crests a hill, overlooking a valley with a giant tree in the middle. The tree seems to raise into the heavens. It's magnificence seems breath-taking. Even Bill awakens, admiring it's glorious beauty, peaceful aura and mysterious history.
The branches of the tree loom overhead like a protective hand over it's children. Just up a head, a lone globe of daylight seems to dance in the middle of a makeshift campsite.
The campsite looks fresh with four logs creating a square sitting arrangement around stones piled to create a campfire. Yet, it seems no campfire has ever been created; not even wood lying in the middle. The grass seems to stop on the outer edge of the logs, with only loose dry dirt between the logs and the fire pit.
A group of blue glowing faeries seem to follow the travelers, keeping a wary vigil over them. Dirk awakens from a brief, restless nap. Tyran can sense that his hawk is uneasy about the faerie folk.
OOC: Alright. Let's try this again

At the top: I specified who is with your particular group. If the others reply, then I will start a separate thread for the schooner group.
