Anastasia prepares herself as usual under these kind of circumstances, but even more so not knowing what they may or may not come across. As she looks to Jordan, she nods her head that shes ready to go if he is to encounter and see what they can discover where Daniel wants them to go.

Each group sneaks off on their designated routes. The all approach the wagon from different angles, keeping a wary eye out for any deception or traps.

As they near, the site unfolding in front of them is worse than what they saw in Father Malaki's office. The bodies of four children lay on the ground, there heads and bodies bloody, bruised and mutilated..dark red blood pooling under them. The oldest appears to be a young teen and the youngest no older than four or five. Ones neck is askew as if almost wrenched from its body.

Two women, likely the children's mothers, lie dead nearby as well. Their bodies are covered in oozing knife slashes and punctures. One's head is almost completely and violently severed.

The wagon lies on it's side with two wheels up in the air. It has a lot of damage to the airborne side as if something large ran into it causing it to spill over.

"Someone or something didn't care about what they had to do or who to kill to look for whatever they are after. Makes me think that the group I encountered before I joined up with you all was tasked with getting whatever it was out of the town. I know we are being careful but from now on I suggest we always stay on guard and look out for each other. I'm thinking we will eventually meet up with the person or party in front of us and doubt it will be a social visit." Gerard looks at the scene and gathers any information about what happened here that the group already might not know.

The group converge on the scene after a careful look around to ensure that this is not a trap. Gerard recognizes the group as the same ones that tried to steal Zeke, but it appears that the two men are not among the dead. The children have been brutally killed. Judging by the carnage it appears to be at least one large creature with bare feet. The prints are much larger than a humans. Around the two women are a set of additional tracks; the same assassin they've been following. The slicing on the women's bodies looks consistent with the type of wounds that Father Malaki had taken. The two women were likely tortured before being killed.

As Daniel walks up and sees the damage done , he shifts back to his human self .

"I think we should move on , but we should somehow bury these poor people first .. ten see about the wagon , if it can be temporary fixed . we could use the transport. "

Daniel notices the brutality of which the children were kill .. He circels the wagon carefully avoiding the tracks looking for some clothing to at least cover the slain children , out of respect for the dead .
As he looks for the clothing , a sadden look and the start of silent tears begin to surface.

"That would be a nice gesture." Jordan replies to Daniel, "but unless you're hiding a priest in your pocket, I don't think any of us has the abilities needed to open a grave and it would take us a considerable amount of time to dig a grave using our weapons. We could fix the cart, if Zeke would agree to pull it, and take the bodies to Chisel Town with us for a proper ceremony." He looks over at Gerard for his reaction. "That would slow us down as well, however."

OOC: Hope everyone had a great (and relaxing) Thanksgiving weekend.

Anastasia giggles at the thought of the priest in a pocket then pulls herself together. "Well, I don't think it would be wise to dig up the graves ..let them rest in their graves and rest in peace. And we can't be wasting anymore time then needed. As it is fixing the wagon the best we can to use it , well we don't know how long that will take ..hopefully not long. And then head to town to give the proper ceremony as you say which is what I would do as well. But whatever is fastest and easiest let's get going and do it so we can get out of here. We can't stay around and be at risk for danger anymore than we already are."

occ: Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well :)

OOC: They're not in graves yet, they're just laying around where they fell when they died.
