"Life is precious, friend," Tyran states to the Altaran. "I would first return you to the Splugorth to let you continue to serve, if that was your wish long before I would fulfill any request to end your life. Of course, from what I know of the Splugorth, returning without your former masters would likely result in you being accused of being a deserter, and your life forfeited anyway. In either case, there's no need for a quick decision. You were badly injured. Take some time, rest and recover. I'm sure we can find some way for you to serve that aligns with everyone's outlooks and beliefs, in time; but we need not rush.
"That said, we will need to have a name by which to call you... do you have a preference?"
She gives a very slight smile, allowing everyone to notice how truly attractive she is, "Amerain." she states, almost as though hearing herself speak her own name seems alien.
Tyran acknowledges the calm, warm, nostalgic feeling. He turns toward the tree and states "Thank you, Galatea," as though to no one.
Shaking her head, Cassandra responds, "You don't know how the Splugorth treat those who leave. Death is the most pleasant part of what might occur. They are extremely inventive with their tortures." She states to Amerain, "I do want to know what crimes I am being accused of?"
Amerain's blank gaze turns towards Cassandra, but she never replies.
Kila quietly and slowly glances around as she twists her fur on her necklace between her fingers.
Raven leans against a rock outcrop, glancing to answer Jenna, "I know a fun game. I noticed a boat over near the dock. Is anyone able to fix it? If not, I have money if there is anyone whom could in the area..." for a moment, he looks confused, then mouths the word, "boat," while shooting a confused glance to Kila. Kila remembers a time on a boat with Raven and several others from their old crew.
Bill's telepathic voice enters Tyran's head, "Isn't Kira a mechanic? Maybe she could help."
Meanwhile, the faerie flutters back among the group. "She likes one of you! Bunches!"
OOC: Cassandra remembers the boat that Raven is talking about. The same boat that both she and Kila were checking out prior to meeting everyone and seeing the slavers. It was in bad shape, needed quite a bit of repair: Mended sails, new rope, hole in the side of its hull, looted, but otherwise sea worthy. It is at least 30 miles to the west, near the ocean.
OOC2: I hope all goes well, Charity.
OOC3: Roll call. who's all still here? Players of Tyran, Kila, Cassandra, Lori and Kira seem active but with sparse replies here and there for some. I've noticed a major lull in Ricky's replies. Are you all getting notices for responses?
