Vi looks to boys," mmm yeah you two run ahead and check his dad's place . I dont think me and Marshall can keep up ."

"Well I suppose we should go find Teddy now that you've been checked out. By more than just the doctor I see." Frank says while glancing at Marshal. "So the first stop should be his dad's shop. I can't think of anywhere else he'd be, especially is he's sick. Would you like Johnny and I to go ahead or do you think you can keep up with Marshals help?"

Vi addresses Dr. Lewis, "Hey now! I'm not gonna be running anywhere. I just wanted to see how much weight I could hold up." she looks to boys, "Mmm yeah. You two run ahead and check his dad's place. I don't think me and Marshall can keep up."

"Uh huh..." Johnny knowingly grins, "Alrighty, Frank! Let's give these two some... hehe... privacy..."

The two head out, in their great quest for Teddy. Eventually, they reach his dad's business, Swenson's machines. Marty doesn't take long as he trots over to see what the boys are up to. "Hey kids! You guys ready for the poker game tonight? Where's Ted?"

Marshal shrugs, "Well, that was rude. Let's head back to the benches near the obstacle course. We still have the final rounds of competitors."

"Actually we're not sure." Frank says quickly. "Vi said he wasn't feeling well and then she lost track of him because he hurt her ankle earlier. We were sent here to look for him, to make sure he saw the doctor to get checked out. Do you know of anyplace he might be?" He finishes before looking over at Johnny.

Johnny remains silent as Marty smirks, "He's being a whiny baby. Probably didn't get his way. He's either at home, hiding somewhere in on the festival grounds or at the lake." Marty sighs, "He gets this way."

Johnny finally pipes up, "Really... I wonder if Vi smacked him around."

Marty's smirk fades into anger, "Johnny, you've had a problem with Ted since I can remember. If Vi and him ever did fight, Teddy would destroy her and that scares me considering how good she is." He steps dangerously close to Johnny, "And Johnny... He thinks you're really a good guy. Talks about you quite a bit, usually good things."

"Mr. Swenson, I'd rather he quit hitting me."

"And that's his way of showing that he likes you, but you seem to whine about it. You need to toughen up kid. Heck, he's smacked Francis here a few times. You see, he quits if it doesn't bother you." Frank can attest to several times that Teddy's punched him in the shoulder or slapped his back a bit too hard. Usually all in good fun, but Teddy is a bit strong for his size.

"Oh," a look of sudden realization crosses Johnny's face.

"I'd say you guys check the house first. If any of the doors are unlocked, then he's there. He always forgets to lock up. If he isn't there, then go check the most competitive games out there. He's probably watching them. If not, then check Sandy Lake. He likes to sit there to think."

Frank rubs his arms right where Teddy usually hits before saying, "Thanks Mr. Swenson. Well Johnny, let's run over to his house first. If he's not there let's try the lake right after. I don't expect him to be in a big crowd at the moment." Frank checks how much time is left before the next obstacle course event. "Great I'm going to wear myself down looking for Teddy before the next round."

"Well, on the bright side, you'll be warmed up for your run." Johnny grins.

The pair heads over to the house only to find all of the doors locked. They check the time before deciding to go to the lake or not. Only about half an hour until the event; which is not enough time to get to the lake and back.

"You should probably eat some spinach or something to keep from cramping on your run." Johnny randomly adds.

Frank looks around for a bit before looking at Johnny. "Well I dont have time to check the lake but you still can if you'd like. I'm probably going to try to get a light snack so I won't cramp up on the course." Frank thinks about wildlife encounters this time of year around the lake. "May want to take a bat or something just incase you need to whack it to keep it away if you do decide to go by yourself. You know safety first and all."

Frank observes the crowd before looking at Johnny, "Well I dont have time to check the lake but you still can if you'd like. "Okay. Well how about we check out Bottoms Up? I noticed Dane, Megana and the others sitting outside eating. Maybe we could join them?" Johnny produces a beaming grin, "Fried Mushrooms over cowboy steak bites sounds amazing!"

Frank notices Ingrid, some raven-haired girl and Brad approaching the table where most everyone is sitting. Ingrid and her raven haired friend sit down as Brad orders some food. Eventually, Vi and some guy that she's with arrive.

Frank looks around to see how busy his parents are before deciding to get up and help for a bit by clearing some tables and doing some dishes. "Mom I'm going to help a bit so that I can get my food quicker." He says with a grin. "I'm somehow still in the obstacle course so need some fuel to compete. So when you get a chance can you put me down for a bacon burger with fried mushrooms for my side?"

"Okay dear," his mom replies as she slaps down a hamburger patty and a few strips of bacon.

"You know, son," he hears his dad say from behind him, "In my experience with the obstacle course, a burger will just add unwanted weight to your body. Every ounce can mean the difference. I'd down some honey, blueberries and almonds for fast energy. What do you say?"

Johnny shrugs, "Well, that makes sense."

"Do you still want the burger? Brad was wanting one too so I could give him this one," his mom adds.
