ooc: I think it was Belle and Ryloc who were doing the scouting?

ic: After finishing checking out around the area, Belle shrugs, "Don't see anything particularly hazardous. Go ahead and head back?"

Once back, she will ask Anastasia, "Did you have something you need to speak to me about?"

OOC: Ryloc is the player, Gerard is the character. It wasn't just Kitsune/Belle that was confused in the Jordan post.

Yes I wanted to apologize for my blunder, which has confused a great many people and all. So I do apologize.

Jordan stood up and moved around the camp to ensure it was indeed as secure as possible. He had to keep all of his options open when it came to any place they stayed at. He was one of the point people when it came to their defensive front.

He took a cup of water that Wormwood had given them through Anastasia, and dabbed the back of his neck to wipe off the sweat and grim. He knew the night would fall like a plague and he hoped the others were back soon.

Jordan will remain inactive for the remainder of the night unless there is some activity.

Once everyone is finished checking and rechecking their sleeping area for the night Gerard brings Zeke some water and gets him some food out of his saddlebags and once finished doing that he gets some water for himself. "Shall we finalize our watch schedule and go ahead and turn in for the night? It's been some time since any of us have gotten any real rest I'm guessing. As I mentioned earlier I'd like to head back into town in the morning to see if I can find Zeke some armor and have a look around myself."

Jordan nodded to Gerards assessment that they hadn't gotten much in the way of peaceful sleep in some time. Everyone needed it to remain at their peak level of performance.

"Agreed. I will help cover the night shift as I think Daniel might be best in this area as well, the darkest of Night is where we are more likely to be attacked then not. Because we are five members this would mean that we have three shifts. Whoever takes the first shift will have to run that one solo due to our number count. However if it will make you all feel better I will run on two shifts, the first and third which would give us two per watch session. Please tell me your thoughts as we need to settle the issue." His rugged face wore the intent look of concern for his new family, each ones life weighing heavily on his heart. He would protect them with everything he had, he was committed to their cause and their safety.

How many hours are in a typical Wormwood span? This would better help me to know how to break up our time schedule incase you wish to 'suprise' our nightly watch.

OOC: Don't worry, I would never attack you at night when you're most vulnerable. That wasn't evil laughter you just heard; that was just the wind. Ignore it.

As far as the nighttime goes, Wormwood days are 25 hours. Night is approximately 13 hours and day 12, but twin moons do a fair job of staving off complete darkness.

ic: "I got a good nigh sleep last night so pretty close to peak," Belle responds. "If you need me to stand more than one watch, I understand."

OOC: If you do, it will likely give you a headache. Chock it up to an unnaturally created artificial/living planet. Hopefully that will be enough to keep your sanity intact

IC: Daniel, still sitting relaxing, offers "There's an old saying on earth that it's darkest before the dawn. Since I have the best nightvision, maybe I should take the last watch instead. Belle, I'd be happy for some company if you wanted to take the first watch and then join me for the last watch as well. I know I can handle the watch by myself, though."

"In that case, I can take first shift with Belle, if that's okay." Anastasia offers. "It will be nice to have some girl time."

OOC: Daniel and Anastasia's players are having RL world intrusions at the moment. I might be doing a few posts for them as needed.

Jordan nodded to the group seeing their resolve and how they would split up the rotation.

"Good words Daniel. I shall take second watch since it would appear that we shall get 4 hours of rest in between. If there is anything more that we need to handle please say so now before we settle in for the night." He wasn't much for long chats and he was eager for the morrow to speak with their companion about his findings.

As previously stated unless circumstances change Jordan will bed down and take his rotation through the night.

Belle does not mind the idea of talking to somebody for a little while. Probably has not had much chance to speak to many girls in general. She will see if there is a place where they can stand watch, keep an eye on things, yet not make so much noise as to keep everybody awake.
