Daniel gets up while finishin his food ," Ok I will watch him .. "
Daniel looks down at the pot and scoops up the left over bits and takes it over to the goblin as he leads it out .

" Now I will have to babysit you again ! Here eat up , before I change my mind . "

Daniel Shifts into his reaper form and takes up first watch while listening to the goblin who might either eat the food or make noise which will cause his death .

" I will take up first watch . everyone get some sleep . "

Daniel says to himself ," this is just great . that kid throws a fit while this thing curls up and turns into a babling idiot . Ahhh maybe i shoud just kill it before anything happens ... to use it as bait .... or i could just ride this out and see how things go ...."

"Looks like i get the second watch. Going to check on Zeke before I catch some sleep." Gerard gets Zeke some food and grabs his night vision goggles and rifle and heads over to sleep a bit before his watch starts.

Daniel takes up his post as first guard as the others settle in for some much needed sleep. He shifts to his undead looking form to enhance his night vision and looks out on the surrounding countryside. The goblin wraps his head in his arms and curls into a ball on the ground nearby. His beady eyes glimmer in the dark as he stairs out from under a crooked elbow. After some time the eyes close and the goblin appears to sleep.

After about three hours of boredom, Daniel goes to Gerard's sleeping form. Zeke raises his head at Daniel's approach, but does not react any further. Gently shaking him by the shoulder Daniel wakes Gerard for the next watch.

Gerard takes up his post and resumes watching the surrounding darkness as Daniel finds a spot near Jordan's shelter to sleep as well. He can hear the soft sounds of sleep coming from Jordan and Anastasia within.

Gerard occasionally scan the countryside looking for anything amiss, but like Daniel, the night is quiet. After a few hours of watch, Gerard wakes Jordan for his turn. Jordan takes his turn as the moons continue their creeping pace across the sky.

About an hour before daybreak, Anastasia awakes on her own, finding that Jordan has taken her watch as well as his. He greets her warmly as she emerges from the hut. "I decided to let you sleep. I was able to get plenty of rest during the first two watches." His normally somber face has a smile for her.

Hearing the commotion, Gerard and Daniel awake as well. The goblin is still tethered where Daniel left him.

{OOC: Trying to move things on a little to get the time-lines of the various threads synced up. Just let me know if there's anything special anyone plans to do during today's journey or if you plan to just continue on as usual.}

Daniel wakes up to the noise of his companions chatter and sits up .
When Daniel sits up , he feels the warm air hit against his skin and he smiles while he begins to stretches out his arms and legs .
After a few cracks and pops are heard , Daniel stands up and stretches out his wings to their full extent .

When his body is fully loosen up for the day , he looks down at his goblin tag-along , "You alive this morning goblin ? "

After the question is asked to the creature , Daniel turns towards the group , "My advise would be to kinda pick up the pace a bit . I think we need to cover more ground and try and hit town before we hit a roadblock or three . If there is enough food left over from last night , we all should eat up and head out . "

Daniel looks around in the morning light to see if there is any possible danger in the surrounding areas .

Fully rested and stretching out a bit to loosen up the muscles in her body, Anastasia smiles "Thank you for letting me sleep. I guess I was more tired than I thought but I'm ready to decide with the rest of you what to do." she says to Jordan and gives him her loving fatherly hug for appreciation.
"Well, I'm sure there's enough food to get us fed and on the road. I must agree. Too much time here can lead to more problems as you said Daniel. The sooner we eat up and get going, the faster we can get going and find our way to our destination. Hopefully, we don't run into anything unexpected", as she looks at the goblin.
Anastasia quickly prepares whats left over and invites everyone to eat up so they can be on their way.

"I agree lets try and make it to the town by today. I'll get Zeke ready to go and eat a bit as we head out. We should start seeing more people as well possibly the closer we get to the town. Any idea how they might react when they see our little friend here?"

OOC: Breakfast fare is short (unless people want to dig into their rations or hunt down more food), but it's better than nothing. Anastasia was only able to summon up enough for one meal with a couple servings left over. Water is whatever anyone captured in their flasks. In the interest of keeping the game moving, I'm going to continue on under the assumption that you each used up a ration in the interest of getting on the road quickly in the hopes of making it to Chisel Town before too far after dark tonight. If this is not what you would have chosen to do, let me know and I'll adjust what distance you were able to travel before dark.

The group travels much the way they did yesterday, but with a greater sense of urgency spurring their pace. Lunch is much the same as breakfast, a field ration from the packs washed down with water {OOC: Once again, let me know if this isn't accurate.}

Keeping a look out for any signs of other travelers or enemies, they still manage to make good time. Daniel dragging the hapless goblin along (or letting the horse do it if Gerard allows) as Gerard and Anastasia take turns riding Zeke and jogging or walking along beside him. Jordan has no problem keeping pace with the others. About mid afternoon Gerard spies a set of wheel tracks leading off the path. A closer examination also reveals that Darl and their mysterious assassin have passed this way. The wheel tracks are accompanied by small and medium sized foot prints. It's difficult to tell how many, but probably at least two adults and a handful of children. All of the tracks enter the side path, but Darl's and the assassins don't appear to return back to the main path.

Daniel looks down at the tracks , noticing two different size foot prints going with the wheel tracks and the two bigger sets which may appear to be the shade and darl's tracks .

"What do we have here ? " Daniel says to the group as a whole .

Daniels attention turns toward the goblin , "Hey goblin , what was your rank and position in the goblin army ? "
Daniel looks to examine the tracks more closely to see what there is to be found in the picture as a whole .

The goblin looks up from where he plopped himself on the ground behind Zeke {OOC: Assuming Gerard let Daniel tie the goblin to Zeke, here.}. "Uhhh...I was just soldier. Me just grunt...just doing..." he trails off to muttering as his attention goes back to examining the ground in front of him.

Daniel looks to examine the tracks more closely to see what there is to be found in the picture as a whole, but doesn't notice anything except that the wheel tracks turn in from the direction that his group just came and leave the direction they're headed...towards Chisel Town.
