Gerard, Anastasia, Daniel, Belle

OCC- Zeke will be going with Gerard as who knows what will happen and planning on coming back into town in the morning if they can.

The main thing that Belle is interested in is defensibility. She wants to see what buildings they might be able to defend more easily than others. She states, "We need to set up a good watch. You have been together for a while so you likely have a system worked out. Willing to help with watches as well however."

ooc: Years ago, I played in a very short Wormwood game and I believe there was an Apok who would never take his mask off.

Daniel looks back at Belle ,"Well last time we had to do the take turns at guard .I was the first up .We do need to find a place thats a bit hidden ."
Daniel smiles and thinks how if the guards were to see a winged creature near the walls , all hell would break loose .

"Anyone got any preference of who goes first ? Or should I take up the first few hours of the graveyard shift? "

"Likely want a spot a bit of distance from the gates in such a case," Belle responds.

"Don't worry, I have the same problem. Don't wear my mask, people seem to think that I am a dainty lady to be coddled or dismissed. Wear my mask, people run in fear."
She laughs, seeming at herself. "In another life, used to actually enjoy the first part. Now just seems like I was so pathetic."

Switching subjects, "Have met a few people from other worlds. Not often but sometimes. Never met any beings like you. Pretty good warrior from what I saw. An army of beings like you might help stem the tide of the Unholy."

"Far as watch, I will take mid watch or the early morning watch," Belle adds.

Jordan looks to the group seeing that they were already bonding, even if it was in a simple mannered way. It warmed his heart to see that a few people who stood for justice were able to stand against the tide of evil that wore away the world of Wormwood. His desire was that before he died maybe he could right the wrongs of his past deeds. But those were thoughts that had to be put into the closet, for now they had a job to do and shelter was their first concern.

Once again thanking the waitress Jordan guided the group out and towards the outskirts of town. He knew that if anyone needed anything they would bring it up. It was still early so they could easily come back. His first goal however was to find a good campsite.

"Okay everyone listen up. We need to look for a shelter not far from the town. If we hope for any kind of slight protection from the cities visage, then the city will need to be seen as a threat to any evil denizens approach. But I do not wish to put these fair folk into any danger. Let us seek some place close but not too far. Possibly around 50 yards away maximum.

"As for the nightly rotation I think that can be figured out before we sleep. I would think that anyone who has night vision of any sort will take the darkest hours of our slumber. Either way we will work with a two up and others down formation. This will afford us ample protection should any threats arise.

"Come let us not tarry further as the light of day is passing. If you need anything in the city then we will return later for such goods." He looked to the group to ensure that they were on the same page as he was. While it was a group decision someone had to take authority and it had fallen to him in some fashion, or at least he supposed. If he was wrong he hoped they would correct him.

He loosened his weapons so they were free to bring into a fight should something happen, even though his thought was that nothing was likely to occur.

When the group finally moved forth, Jordan took the lead and made sure to keep his eyes open for any sort of shelter that might suit their needs. He was definitely looking for something with at least some kind of secure walls as that was preferred. He would use his wormwood skills to shore up any loose ends but the more secure this place was the better off they would be in a fight.

Daniel laughs abit at the comment bout an army of his kind ,"An army of my kind ? ....(deep breath)... Everyone of "my kind" are unique to themselves. Kinda like every persons personality and innerselves are . And I think how the person's life were . But as far as I know . I am the last of the what we were called Nightbane. Just be happy that the nightlords have not found this world.. It would be hell on earth sorta speak. "

Daniel looks around mentally taking note of reactions from everyone and hopes he doesn't see any mirrors arounds .

Daniel continues ,"Before things got chaotic ,I saw people with with tank treads for legs , others with computer compenets , others with weaponized limbs , and even more oddities . Some were horrifing , while others had beauty of a goddess . It all depends on the person . "

She is not really much into technology so some of the terms are a bit confusing. Likely never seen a tank and computers are strange devices that dimensional wanders sometimes use.

"One thing I have found in my time as a servant of the Unholy was that often the don't get along very well," Belle responds. "Just as likely that your Nightlords and the Unholy would fight among each other."

"There is always risk, but I think we can protect ourselves at least reasonably well."

"I'll head out with you Jordan and also look for some good shelter for all of us. Plus we should all stick together for the most part as some of us remember what happened at the last place we visited. Plus I'm sure Zeke will enjoy walking a bit."

[giggles]

Anastasia still waiting for the group to get moving, as she has been waiting and getting antsy, looks at Daniel and Belle then to the others and just kidna shakes her head as shes already stated to get moving but carrying on the conversation with who Belle is and her mask and what Daniel is could be talked about more in depth at camp later on. Its much more important to get set up and all right now, but what does she know, she is only a kid after all. She goes over to Jordan and looks up at him, "I agree, staying together is very important as it always is and getting set up is a must as soon as possible. What would you like me to do now?"

"The Nightlords all work together .Sence they have a common ground. But one would think them and the devil herself would be at odd with each other. That would be one fight I would love to see take place .....Fortunely , they have not figured out how or where this place is . I hate having to deal with Hunters and Hounds . .... As for places to crash , I think we all should move as one to find a place . Think we all can cover the basis ." Daniel laughs as his last statement .
