"This is Bill ... " Tyran answers, "... a friend, and a telepath. I offered Bill the opportunity to travel with me, and a chance to visit and experience our world ... though at the time, I had no idea that we might so soon find ourselves witnessing the glory and splendor of a Millenium Tree!"
"For what it's worth, the slaver barges no longer appear to be a threat. I can't guarantee the same for our new friend here; but if she was running from the barges, then I'm speculating that she might have been a slave attempting to escape her captivity. I can't really say that I've sorted out everything that's going on, here ... but I think what we could use most is an opportunity to rest and regroup. I'm wondering, if we asked, whether the benevolent Galatea would be so kind as to grant us shelter and sanctuary for an evening under the protection of these branches."
"I know that I, for one, have had enough excitement for one day; and would love to have a bit of space to reflect on how exactly we ended up here."
Seeing that the horseman are clearly looting whatever might have been salvageable after the battle, Tyran mentally calls for Dirk to make his way back to the group.

Lori looked on as this Kila person healed the oddly dressed woman, and wracked her memory to see if what she could remember about Splugorth Slave Slavers (Lore: Demons and Monsters at 78%). Kila seemed to be a psychic, or at least she didn't seem to be using enough PPE for the healing to show up to Lori's Linewalker abilities.
She smirked at Jenna's reaction to Tyran's, umm, companion. As she understood it, Bill is more than just a pet or basic familiar. Then again, Jenna didn't grow up around magic so she's somewhat sheltered towards the more exotic forms of life.
She looked over Raven, the fellow with the summoning problem, and the women introduced as Betty and Cassandra. "I wonder what brings them here." she thinks to herself, "Then again, I'm not sure exactly what rift portal weirdness resulted in us ending up here either. Or even where here is."
Speaking up she says "Well I can sense a few leylines in the area, and there seems to be a large nexus in the direction of that huge tree." She pointed at the tree that towered over the landscape. "It might actually be at the nexus, I can't really gauge how big it is to estimate distances. Does anyone know where we are?"

Cassandra turns to see what is going on, although just about nothing would catch her "Eeww" factor, having served with a Temporal Raider.
"This is Bill," Tyran answers, "a friend, and a telepath. I offered Bill the opportunity to travel with me, and a chance to visit and experience our world. Though, at the time, I had no idea that we might so soon find ourselves witnessing the glory and splendor of a Millenium Tree!

Seeing that the horseman are clearly looting whatever might have been salvageable after the battle, Tyran mentally calls for Dirk to make his way back to the group. Dirk acknowledges as Tyran can see the splendor and magnitude of the tree. The grove, that group is hiding in, is just a small dot in comparison to the breadth of the tree.
Lori ponders as Kila heals the oddly dressed woman, and wracks her memory on anything about Splugorth Slave Slavers, unfortunately, other than hearing of them, she has no good recollection of any details. Kila seems to be a psychic, or at least she isn't using enough magical energy while healing for Lori to see. Lori smirks at Jenna's reaction to Tyran's companion. Understandably, Bill is more than just a pet or basic familiar. Then again, Jenna didn't grow up around magic so she's somewhat sheltered towards more exotic forms of life. She looks over Raven, with his summoning problem, and Cassandra. oO(I wonder what brings them here)Oo she thinks to herself, oO(Then again, I'm not sure exactly what rift portal weirdness resulted in us ending up here either. Or even where here is)Oo
Lori announces, "Well, I can sense a few leylines in the area and there seems to be a large nexus in the direction of that huge tree." She points at the towering tree. "It might actually be at the nexus, I can't really gauge how big it is to estimate distances. Does anyone know where we are?"
A final dose of concentration and massaging clears up the woman's reddened skin. Kila feels the slight mental drain upon completing her healing. She can sense Raven's eyes on her. Maybe he remembers. How couldn't he? His gaze is distracted, answering the beautiful girl with other crazy one, who mentioned cannibalism, if she only knew.
"I don't know," his confused expression lingers, "I seem to just appear in places. I don't remember how." He gives a very brief glance at Kila. "And I'm guessing I don't remember them all."
"It's a slimy worm!" Jenna replies, "How do you just become friends with a slimy worm?"
"OH! How dare she!" Bill replies in Tyran's mind, "She isn't an optimal mate EITHER!"
Meanwhile, Kira and Ricky notice the mysterious woman groan as she begins to move. She mumbles something that's either incoherent or a different language.

Lori is a bit frustrated with her lack of knowledge of the Splugorth Slavers. She could probably find something in her books of magic lore, if they weren't still packed in her car back home. Hopefully their friends who hadn't gotten shanghai'd would take care of her stuff until they could return.
Her options, both transport and combat wise, were somewhat limited at the moment. It's not like she had expected to end up where ever here was.
As the Slave warrior started to awaken, Lori casts the Tongues spell, as least she can act as translator for the woman.

"Uh everyone we might be able to get a few answers if anyone can speak or understand her. It would be nice if we could at least have an idea of thing so we can figure out our next course of action as we seem to have a number of things going on with us right now."
Kira steps back a bit not knowing what the injured woman may do.

As the Slave warrior started to awaken, Lori casts the Tongues spell, as least she can act as translator for the woman.
Lori understands demigogian, "Please... help..." She then switches to a form of old American tribal tongue begging the same thing. Her eyes open slightly. She begins feeling around on her gut, searching for the wound that Kila had healed.
"Uh everyone we might be able to get a few answers if anyone can speak or understand her. It would be nice if we could at least have an idea of thing so we can figure out our next course of action as we seem to have a number of things going on with us right now." Kira steps back a bit not knowing what the injured woman may do.
The woman looks at Kila, yet her silverish, white eyes never focus on her in an almost eerie manner. Her small hand slowly reaches up, gently caressing Kila's face, "Friend..." she says in Demigogian. "I... serve you now..."
Jenna and Raven both seem to watch in wonder and silence as Dirk comes to a landing on a branch above. Tyran can sense through Dirk, that the woman has a devoted sense of loyalty to the girl who'd just healed her and didn't back away in fear.
Cassandra notices that this is generally unusual for Altaran's. However, if she was an insubordinate, then it's not unheard of. The only problem is the impending slaver hunt for her. It's bound to happen.

Kila leans back placing her hands on her legs as she glances over at Raven and then to the others. She looksaid down at the woman tilting her head slightly away from the hand that touches her face as she slowly brings her right hand up taking the woman's hand away slowly. "I don't understand what your saying," she says softly shaking her head slowly, "but if you can understand me your ok stay still for a little bit just rest". Kila looks around the others confusion on her face beforeasking them " can anyone understand what she said?". (Cannibalism...) kila thinks as she brings her hand up to the necklace around her neck her eyes drifting back to Raven.

Kila leans back, placing her hands on her legs while glancing at Raven; then everyone. She peers down at the woman, slightly tilting her head away from her hand as she slowly removes the woman's hand. "I don't understand what you're saying," slowly shaking her head, "but if you can understand me, you're okay. Stay still for a little bit. Just rest." Kila's confused expression searches the group, before asking them, "Can anyone understand what she said?"
(Cannibalism...) Kila reaches for the necklace around her neck as her eyes drift to Raven.
Kila notices Raven curiously examine her. He becomes distracted when the Altaran replies in American, "Help. I friend." Her silver eyes follow Kila's gaze, "Master's mate."
"Wha?" Raven's eyebrow raises.
Jenna erupts into laughter, "I... ah haaa, I knew it!"

Speaking in Dragonese, which is really common in Atlantis, "Do you speak this language?" Otherwise, she stand guard and has little to say.
ooc: Interestingly, the books do not appear give what languages they know.

Kila glances from the woman to Raven for a moment before she turns back to the woman. " Your safe and yes friend," kila answers the woman in american. Kila looks at Cassandra then to the woman before she slowly pushes to her feet and looks at Raven. "I don't think she is fully aware where she is or maybe she is," Kila says in a soft voice as she brings her hand back to her necklace and rubs the fur slowly between her fingers.
Kila walks slowly toward Cassandra and asks, " Can anyone tell if we might have to fight. If we have to I would like to get a little information on what I'm dealing with please."
