I have not posted because I wasn't aware of what I have with the assortment of items listed by Joe. If I have some levity with the items posted then I'll post something in payment for the meal. I would like to give the gemstone since this lady is more then likely not needing a weapon.

Daniel eats up his food and says to the group ,"Guys , in all the things we manage to salage .I am thinking og the green gems . I would think we can use them for trade . What do you all think ? "

Daniel sits back and waits for their respondes .

"If you think it best," responds Belle. "Since becoming an Apok, I have been trading services for lodging."

"I agree with you Belle as well. I think your right Daniel, as that is the only thing we have to offer at this time and the best we can do and then off to set up camp."

The Apok looks from member to member seeing the resolve in their eyes for the payment of the meal that was provided. He was sure that everyone in the company had enjoyed the services rendered from this kindly woman and he was hopeful that the item they had for trade would suit the woman and help her through lifes journey.

"It is agreed then. Daniel, go ahead and use the gemstone in payment. I know that this meal has not only helped to warm my weary bones, but to give us a sense of rest." A wan smile crossed his lips as he finished the remanining portion of his meal. It had been a wonderful blend that had surely cost the woman in some capacity.

~once the woman leaves the company after payment...

As the woman leaves Jordan leans in so that his words were not over heard. He trusted the sense of peace that had come over the group since entering the establishment but he was overly cautious and that often saved ones life. He didn't want many knowing that they were here seeking something.

His voice was hushed slightly. "I think we need to leave and create our camp soon. As I said earlier, if you wish to sell any of the items then lets do so. But I caution you to ward your tongue against any questions that might reveal anything about our quest. We do not know how many questions have already been raised since our companion has been here. We do not want anyone to become curious, if you understand my meaning. So, what say you my friends, what is the next move?"

Now that Daniel has produced this "jewel" he found where Anastasia can get a better look at it, she realizes with a start that the stone he has put so incautiously on the table is the same color and is large enough to be a Gem of Illusion.

Anastasia looks at the gem and wonders what it really means now that she thinks she recongnizes it but its too late since its being given as payment. She then looks at the woman and then turns to the group"I think we need to get to our place to rest and set up and not cause a scene and be descrete."

Really, Belle has little to say. She might have otherwise offered to help, maybe help clean up, in trade for the food.
The blond Apok looks at her new companions before walking towards the door.

Gerard heads outside to tend to Zeke as he hears the group talking a bit about where they might stay. As he's about to take Zeke to the stable for the night he has a thought and heads back inside and walks up to the lady that had been helping them at their table. "Excuse me, does there happen to be any kind of shop or smithy in town that I might be able to pick up something for Zeke by chance. Oh sorry I mean my horse...Zeke..." Gerard smiles a bit as he has gotten used to it being just him and Zeke over time and has to remember to refer to him as his horse for others.

Jordan nods to the group noticing they are ready to depart and takes up the gem and walks up to the woman. He could see she was a busy person and didn't want to waste her time.

"Thank you for your services. The food was wonderful and I know it did all of us well to have stopped here. Please take this gem as our token of payment. If you prefer some other means to barter then we have some fine weapons that can sell well on the open market. The choice is yours of course." He did not hesitate in extending the gem. It was of no use to him and he wanted to ensure good and proper payment.

Once the payment has been handled....

Stepping outside Jordan lets his eyes settle on the crowd that was was the township. He could tell they were a people of hardened circumstances and he respected it. He also felt pity for the people, as more then most of them would be dead before too long, as the powers of darkness seemed to grow in Wormwood.

Scratching at the growing whiskers on his jowl line he spoke softly. "Okay folks we need to get everything done here that needs be settled. We do not want to head out and look for shelter in the evening hours."
