Anastasia is done eating and pleasantly full. "Thank you everyone. That was very filling and good indeed. I think I'll get my things ready and find a spot to relax and enjoy the evening and hopefully fall asleep. Good night all."
"Sounds like a good plan, tomorrow will be a long day." Jordan responds to her. He takes advantage of the fresh pool of water to refill his and Anastasia's flasks. Taking one of the flasks outside the cave with him, taking care not to step on Darl's drawings, he washes his arms, hands and face before returning to the pool to refill that flask again. He then proceeds to lay out his bedroll between Anastasia and the cave entrance.
After eating Gerard cleans up his cooking equipment and packs it away. "How do you all want to handle posting watch tonight? Or what is does everyone think?"
Daniel listens to Gerard as he eats and finishes up. "That was good fixin's. Night watch might not be a bad idea, but i think that c.o.p. that Darl put up should be good. Just as long there is an alarm on it if someone gets close to it." Daniel cleans his cooking supplies and puts them away. Shuts his whip down and cleans her up and puts her by his side. Shifts into human form and puts back on his shirt.
"On the contrary," Darl pipes up. "The spell won't last forever ... but at least the circle will be there, ready to re-activate, if a situation arises where you end up needing it. A night watch would certainly still be prudent."
At Darl's advice, Daniel volunteers "Guys I will take up first watch, since I can see in the dark." Putting action to words he gets up walks around the circle that Darl created, takes back off his shirt, takes up a position just to the right of the entrance of the cave and shifts back to his undead self. "When one of you wants to take up guard let me know."
"In that case, I'll take up second guard, but can you wake me in a few hours?" Jordan offers.
Gerard, being full of good ideas, also suggests "We should bring in any equipment or supplies if the vehicle has anything in it that could be taken or destroyed if we have visitors tonight. Sorry all after spending a lot of time out and about you just develop some procedures. I also need to feed Zeke as he's had a long haul today."
Ethram quickly jumps up from where he sat while he was eating and rushes to the cave entrance. "Oh, hey! I've got something for you guys that's still in the ATV. Thanks Gerard for reminding me." Ethram slows to a careful pace when he reaches the cave entrance to avoid stepping on the lines in the ground.
He returns moments later carrying the mysterious green metal box that was in the back of the ATV. Sitting the box on the floor he carefully unlatches and opens it revealing a very, very old looking radio transmitter. "Here, I came across this a few months ago and Father Malaki told me I could have it since it wasn't working anyway, but I managed to get it working again. I thought you could use this to keep in touch with your friend that stayed behind." Pointing at one of the dials he continues "I've got it set to the same frequency as the radio at the church. Someone should be at the other end most of the time throughout the day."
{OOC: Can't believe nobody asked about this when I mentioned it the first time. If Gerard hadn't said something about getting everything out of the ATV you may have lost it.

Gerard looks around the cave, estimating it's size and decides that the room will be cramped with Zeke in it, but there is enough head room for him to stand and sleep without stepping on anyone. Having seen to Zeke, Gerard finds a comfortable place to lie down for the night.
"It looks like you're mostly settled in," Darl concedes, "... Can you give me a good description of that wagon and the rest of the party, just to refresh me regarding exactly who we're looking for?" Darl knows that if the wagon party reaches town before he does, then he's likely going to have to spend some time questioning others to try and determine where their quarry had gone to next ... so he spends some time re-confirming as many details as he can about the group before preparing to set out into the night, himself.
Gerard spends the next few minutes going back over everything he can remember about their quarry.
