"Could just be coincidence. Raiding parties usually aren't very sophisticated. The fact that Father Malaki's single most precious artifact, at least in his mind, was stolen would make one wonder if it is related. Could just be that the thief lit the fire to cover his escape and the fire drew a wandering party." Brother Tobius finishes up his tasks and replaces the pitchfork in the corner. Looking at Gerard, some of the haughtiness returns to his voice. "Are you done?"

"Yep all finished thanks." Gerard picks up his things and heads for the door. "Think I will turn in for the night. Have a good night." Gerard heads off towards his room.

Gerard makes his way past the guards at the front of the church and to the room indicated by Father Malaki earlier. As he approaches the father's door he hears Darl's voice coming from within and at about the same time sees Jordan come out of his room down the hall.

"Oh hello. Any news that I missed as I was putting Zeke in the stable for the night. The look I got when I went and got him, I tell ya." Gerard chuckles. Brother Tobias was there as well and I talked to him a bit to see again what he thought without things being so busy. He said they have tried to keep their existance as lowkey as possible for the time they have been here. Also that the fire should not of started where it did as he stated that that area was supposed to stay clear. He was going to try to get a reading on the fire but that was when the demons attacked and by the time he got back there it was too late for a reading. So who knows exactly. That was all he really said to me."

OOC: Are you speaking to Jordan or did you enter Father Malaki's office? To keep things moving, I'm going to assume you meant Jordan.

Jordan greets Gerard with a node of his head and a friendly, but brief smile. "Not much news here. I've gotten Anastasia settled for the night and I heard Darl and The Redeemr in with Father Malaki. I was just going to see if they've learned anything." Jordan proceeds to fill Gerard in on what he, Daniel and Anastasia have learned.

OCC- Yes I was speaking to Jordan. Trying to get things back together a bit so we can all decide what our next course of action will be.

OCC- Put up the post before this one and was waiting to see if you were going to bring most of us back together. Didn't see anything else since so have been waiting to see if you were going to put up a post sorry.
