Anastasia smiles and reassures her dad, "Its ok at least we will be together now and go out and get this information we need. Maybe Darl will wake up soon and can help but I think for now we should head out. Sir, Speaking to the Redeemer, I'm pretty good with talking to people so leave that to me and maybe with the 3 of us we can pick up on different aspects of what people are telling us..I think we should go to the nearest places and circle around the different places, and this will probably take some time and we will need to rest at some point, so lets get started since were all rested up and have supplies to carry us thru for a while."

OOC: I should probably mention that Jordan and Anastasia are not actually related, but Jordan treats her as his own daughter and affectionately refers to her as such. It explained this somewhere in the backstory, but I can't guarantee that it made it to Anastasia's character sheet pages.

Also, is there anyone in particular you want to go talk to or are you just going to wander around town speaking to whomever you come across?

I got that ..i just wasnt sure how to really address him and thats how i would in real life so i treat my char almost like i am myself if thats ok
I'm kinda lost on the cities but whatever was the closest and then chart out from there. I'm hoping one of the others will suggest the next town to go to and then go from there..if you have suggestions im up for them you play things alot different from chaser so this is a little different but good gives us another way to play

Jordan eyes Anastasia "There's an entire world of towns out there and right now we don't have anything to go on other than just heading for the closest one. Might I suggest that we start a little more locally and focus on this town first. The crime happened here, so I say we start here and see where the evidence takes us. Even we were to just head to the next town we wouldn't know what questions to ask since we don't know who we're looking for. We don't even know at this point if the thief headed for the next town. It could be a demon that headed straight for home.

Anastasia looks at Jordan, thinks for a minute and ponders over his idea.
"I think thats a good start. Locally we can cover a large amount once we find out some answers in this town. Lets get started then so we can find out whats going on. We will know soon enough if it was a demon but lets make sure and get started right away if were all in agreement on this."

Gerard

"Sounds good and we can hopefully find some answers or at least some clues to try and put things together a bit better. I also wonder what else might have been taken or what other places might have been attacked during it all. I'll go see if I can talk with some of their "outdoorsy" folk as that is what I know and also have that worn look." Gerard chuckles "So when do we want to meet back here? And for now I agree lets see what we can find out around here before we head elsewhere. We can also hopefully find supplies if we need to move on as well." Gerard stands up and works out a few kinks from sitting awhile. "More than happy to have you come along Redeemer, another pair of eyes and thoughts could easily pick up something I miss."

Darl:

Silent until now, the tall beast grunts.

"Sure ... let's go talk to random strangers and see what they know. What are you going to do ... go knocking on doors?" Darl looks outside at the waning evening light. "I'm sure the grieving widows of this village would be more than willing to spill their guts to a couple of apoks and other random strangers in the middle of the night. And they'll be REAL friendly with me wandering around in the dark, I reckon."

Darl stops to sample the oily looking liquid in front of him, swishing it around in his mouth long enough for the others to contemplate his last comment. Setting the glass down, he gives an imposing look to each in turn.

"Or ... we could probably start with what WE know, and go from there. There's no doubt in my mind that it was the demons who stole "it" ... this was a co-ordinated raid, much more than a simple roaming demon party. And it was planned in advance ... I followed a small group of demons here, and even when they knew I was following them, they did not slow down or double back to engage me. That's very unusual for them ... They knew they had to be here, at all costs - and arrived just on time to help open a rift so that the others could escape."

"Now my question in all this, is why. What was so important about this podunk village that the unholy one would make it a target? You still haven't answered my questions about what it is we're supposedly looking for."

Darl:

Having said his piece, Darl leans back and sinks back into the folds of his robe, trying to look slightly less menacing.

"Of course, if you want to go questioning folks ... why don't you start there ..." he states, gesturing towards the other occupied table in the room, where two of the temple soldiers are talking to a third man. Before his interuption, he had been quietly trying to overhear their conversation ... which he goes back to doing now.

"Well its about time you came around..we were thinking we would have to do this all on what we know and you just sleep all day. And you don't have to be so sarcastic, but i believe thats what we were going to do not just talk to people whove been already hurt by whoever has caused all this insanity. So why dont you and I go over and question these temple soldiers since you think you know what to ask and ill be there to follow up with what questions i have

Darl throws back his hood, leans forward, and picks at a razor-sharp teeth with an equally sharp claw before continuing in a hushed tone. "I'm afraid my interrogation methods might be a bit extreme for the current situation. But if you don't think someone with a more 'inviting' presence should lead that effort ..."

Darl pauses for just a moment, to give the woman's aura another quick study.

"... then as soon as you open up and let me know what it is we're supposed to be looking for, I'd be happy to go see what else our friends can add to the story."

Darl leans back again, eying up the woman curiously. 'Just what are you ...' he wonders to himself, while studying her reaction.
