"Anyone have any ideas of how to travel a bit faster Like maybe goblin here right with Anastasia on Zeke? I can fly and scout ahead a bit . I figure the guys can run next to Zeke to act as guards moreless. "

Daniel grabs his gear and puts on his backpack , the sound of the chainwhip can be heard .

[giggles]

Anastasia gives a disgusted look at Daniel. "Ugh! It was bad enough to have him in my sleeping quarters and now to deal with him on poor Zeke! Well, if its okay with Gerard, and we can get faster to our destination, I will put up with it if I have to but he better keep his mouth shut because I don't want to hear any muttering or rambling on..DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR GOBLIN???"
Waiting for Gerard's reply and finding herself muttering to herself about this goblin riding or being anywhere near her, she shakes it off on just awaits.

"That's fine with me I'll just tie his rope to Zeke's saddle as well so he doesn't get any ideas. I'll be fine running along side the rest of the way and lets try and reach town before nightfall if possible I say."

Making as much haste as possible, the group rapidly covers ground. Gerard and Anastasia occasionally trading places to allow the other to rest on Zeke's back. Jordan sometimes removes the goblin from on top of Zeke and makes him run as well, giving Zeke a chance to trot along under a lighter load.

They occasionally see signs of Darl's and the assassins prints along the road. Darl's tracks are obscured by the wagon whereas the demon's tracks, in the couple of places that they are present, are along the side the track and then disappear again into the surrounding forest of pillars.

The group keeps up their grueling pace for a mere two or three hours before Daniel spies something in the distance.

As the group slows, they see a battered wagon lying on it's side a few hundred yards ahead. It's contents apparently spilled and scattered. At least one body can be seen lying in the road near the wagon. From this distance it cannot be determined if there are any survivors.

"Not a good site up there. Let's be careful about how we choose to approach that area. If there are any survivors hopefully we can help as well as find out some information on what happened here and if not possibly piece something together." Gerard will take a careful look around from their vantage point. OCC. Detect ambush and concealment.

"If we do find survivors let's try and calm them instead of startling them too badly as well."

Daniel gets an idea for a better view point ,"Looks like we may have problem . But I think i might have an idea ."
Daniel looks over at their little goblin friend ,"How would you like to fly ? The way I look at it , we have two options Gobbly .1 Strap you to my chest or 2. you hop on my back . Or there is always the 3 option .. I just hold on to you with my hands and you hope I don't loose my grip .. We need someone with goblin know how . Sence we found you , I figure there is more of your kind around . "

Daniel looks to the wagon wreckage ,"Looks like someone might be alive still . So what do you all decide?"

[giggles]

Anastasia giggles at what options are given to the goblin, but then gets herself together to decide with the others want to do about the wreckage and searching for survivors.
"Well, I think if we approach very carefully and literally have eyes and ears opened around all of us, we should investigate very slowly. We don't know what we may find, whether it may be survivors, food or who knows the wagon may be fixable to where we can use it to get to town. I will be more than happy to talk to anyone we may find, since I have that knack per say to calm people down. They may be too scared to talk right away, but I will stay with them on our way to town and do what I have to in order for them to see that I will protect them from whatever danger is out there. You all just make sure whatever we come across is taken care of so these survivors, if any, see that I mean what I say. So if that seems to be okay with everyone, that's my suggestion."

The goblin looks at Daniel with some fear and trepidation and then looks around at the rest of the group to see if maybe he's missing some joke. Deciding that it's no joke he swallows and then says "I do what you want. You tell me how you want ride."

"In that case," Daniel replies, "I'll strap you to my chest so that you can see better and not interfere with my flying." Putting actions to words Daniel wraps the length of rope around the Goblin multiple times and ties it off nice and neat. After testing the knot and doing a short test flight to prove that everything seems secure he takes off into the air with the hapless goblin flapping along below him. The weight of the goblin prevents Daniel from doing any fancy maneuvers, but he's at least able to fly into the air to scout around. Gaining altitude, Daniel and the goblin fly along at about the height of the surrounding pillars. Looking down on the wreckage they see other bodies lying around, hidden by the cart and off the sides of the road. It appears to be two adults and a number of children. The contents of the cart are scattered as if someone went through the items in search of something. Daniel sees no other activity around so he returns to the group.

When asked, the goblin says that he doesn't know if this was an attack by goblins or not. "Too high, don't know."

The group, feeling more confident in their approach continue to sneak forward. {OOC: Any special way you're going to approach or does the "walk straight ahead but keep your eyes open" still stand?}

"Sounds good to me. " Gerard mutters to himself "wagons again last time i tried to help I was attacked and they tried to steal Zeke as well. Ah well life on the road I guess...
"Shall we?". Gerard takes Zeke's reins and holds his rifle in the other arm ready to head towards the wagon.

Daniel explains everything he sees and what the goblin didn't see .

Daniel listens to Gerard and watches as he moves forward ,"Ok , Gerard takes the middle . Anastasia , you and Jordan take the right side . Goblin and I will take the left side behind the wheels .

Daniel quickly unties himself from Goblin and they walk up behind the wagon to where they saw the people hiding . As Daniel walks up to the wagon , he keeps an eye out for what might be there and watches for traps and other dangers .

"Goblin , you better your eyes open and watch out for any signs of danger .. that also mean signs of other creatures like .... goblins .. "
