"We also need to plan what we are going to do next as I'm not sure sitting here for an extended period of time is a good idea. It also allows things to possibly become more difficult the more time we wait." Gerard says hoping the others know he's talking about their task/mission. "We also have to make sure the atv is ok and will be able to get back to town as well. I know we gave it a once over but is anyone else a bit more familiar with atv's? I don't want to send anyone out let alone along without at least knowing we did as much as we could to help.

Anastasia looks at the goblin with a queery look, the evil eye whatever you may want to call it as it looks like hes been caught in a lie, so what other lies may he be telling or half truths?
Anastasia gets closer to him, "Look, your not fully telling the truth now are you? Out with it now or we will have no control over what our friend that's holding you by the neck and the chain in the other hand from harming you so we do get the truth out of you? NOW...where is this treasure and where are your little friends really hiding??? We know they can't be that far from here and you know where they are and what kind of danger they can bring to us so fill us in now...or DANIEL????"
As she awaits an answer she briefly answers about the atv, "Sorry I have no idea on the atv but it wouldn't hurt to take another look at it to make sure all's well that's for sure. And as soon as we can get an answer from this little guy we need to get moving. I don't think it is wise to stay here much longer as I mentioned to him, we may have others waiting for us or him and we can run into some real problems we certainly don't need right now."

"I agree, let's finish up here and get going." Jordan responds "I doubt this cretin has anything useful...or anything we can believe. His kind are not known for their integrity."

"Don't look at me." Jordan replies. "My two feet have always been good enough for getting around."

"I'll check it out while you guys finish up with this guy." Ethram quickly offers. It's obvious he's not comfortable with the pending violence and quickly runs out to the ATV and starts checking it over.

Daylight is quickly approaching and the dark of night receding as the group continues to interrogate the goblin.

Anastasia gets closer to the Goblin, "Look, you're not fully telling the truth now, are you? Out with it now or we will have no control over what our friend that's holding you by the neck and the chain in the other hand from harming you, so we do get the truth out of you? NOW...where is this treasure and where are your little friends really hiding??? We know they can't be that far from here and you know where they are and what kind of danger they can bring to us so fill us in now...or DANIEL????"

The goblin, lapsing back into Gobbely again, starts muttering over and over about how sorry he is and please don't kill him. He repeatedly assures them that the only thing he lied about was the treasure and that the only treasures he possesses are the shards of pottery and tattered cloth in the cave. His failed attempt at stealing the ATV is a testament to his ineptitude. The muttering threatens to continue non-stop as it appears the goblins brain may have come unhinged. To Daniel, the mutterings all sound like gibberish.

In Gobbely Jordan says "This has got to be the most pathetic example of a goblin I've ever seen." The goblin makes no apparent outward sign that he heard or understood Jordan's words.

Daniel lets go of the creature's neck but keeps him entangled .
"Just remember ,One twitch and your gonna be one crispy critter . Or I will just see how well you will fall . "
Daniel looks up at the rest of the crew .
"I say we better get our asses moving now . Everyone better grab all your gear and load up . "
Daniel , while holding the handle of his chainwhip , yards the creature back to his spot in the cave and gathers his gear into his backpack .
After he gets his gear loaded up and ready , Daniel walks back out with the creature in tow .
he says to the creature ,"You will be truthfull or i will see how goblins taste . Won't be the first time I been a canibal "

As Daniel walks back out of the cave , he listens for anything that is " out of place " .

[giggles]

Anastasia takes one last look at the goblin then Daniel, "Yep, I think we need to scatter right away. I'll get my things together real quick since you have a nice grip on our little friend there..We're defintely not getting anywhere with him now with all this jibberish."
As she quickly gathers up her things, she still hears the goblin muttering and not making any sense whatsoever and just shakes her head.
"Well, I am ready to get going. Lets see how things are with the atv and Ethram and see if its a go there as well."

"I agree lets pack up and get moving and make sure Ethram is ok heading back by himself. Makes you wonder if our little side adventure might of been set to slow us down. Hmm who knows..." Gerard says the last part to himself quietly as if thinking about things. "So what is the plan on what to do with our little friend here?" Once everyone is finished up packing and clearing the cave, Gerard will lead Zeke outside and then go back into the cave and cover up any sighs that they were here or as much as he is able to.

The goblin's rantings have trailed off to mere mutterings as the group gathers up their things in preparation to move on. Daniel feels the now familiar tingle as he crosses the circle of protection at the threshold of the cave...the hapless goblin in tow.

"Everything good hear Ethram?" Anastasia asks when she arrives at the ATV, her pack slung over her shoulder.

In addition to his own things, Jordan gathers up Ethram's belongings and settles them into the back of the ATV. He arrives in time to hear Ethram's response. "It all seems to be working. The seat may be a bit uncomfortable, but it'll work. The battery should have enough charge for me to get back home."

"Good to hear." Jordan says as he comes around to the front of the vehicle to thank Ethram for the ride. "Be safe and be careful. I don't like the idea of you returning alone knowing there's a goblin party wandering around. I don't know if there's much help for it, though."

"I'll be alright. I can make better time now that I won't have to slow to Zeke's pace." Ethram smiles and offers his hand to everyone...except Daniel, whom he just gives a nervous wave to and a nod of his head. "Be sure to look up my wife and let her know I'm safe."

{OOC: Please be sure to let me know who's doing what and how you plan to travel. Especially be sure to let me know what you're doing with the goblin. Feel free to--and I would encourage it--roll play among yourselves a bit to decide what to do.}

Daniel looks over at the atv,"yeah sorry bout that . I was actually trying not to do damage to the 4 wheeler . But....."
Daniels turns back to the goblin meaning as if to say , its your fault for this damage.

Daniel throws his backpack on and takes another solid look around with the creature in tow .

After to the look around the area daniel turns back to the group ,"I will bring up the rear of the group . And Ethram , man good luck and hall ass back to town .. just keep your eyes out along the way ."

[giggles]

"Well, safe journey and thank you for everything Ethram. We really appreciate everything you have done for us so take care!"

Anastasia now looks to the others and ready to set off, "So where should we head to first. I know you pretty much scouted things out Daniel but things may have changed a bit since all this has happened with our little friend so what do you think?"

[Ryloc]

"I agree with Anastasia as well as you have seen more than we have Daniel, what do you think? We also need to decide what to do with our little addition to the party here as we will at times need to discuss things." Gerard walks over to Ethram. "Thanks and be careful on your way back. You said the atv should be ok but what about you? Do you have enough food and supplies for the trek back? Also is that pistol all you have to defend yourself if needed?"

Gerard looks Zeke over and makes sure everything is in order along with checking his pack and saddlebags taking a mental inventory again as he always does as you never know when something might be needed quickly. "Whatever we decide I think Zeke here has decided that I get to walk for awhile while you get to hop into the saddle Anastasia." Gerard smiles and chuckles to himself.
