As Anastasia continues to wake the others Gerard will keep watch and once everyone is awake then discuss our best course of action.

Gerard motions to the others as they are awakened to come up where he is quietly and whispers "We need to figure out what course of action or actions we should take. Does anyone have any idea what it might be?"

Anastasia looks around and thinks about what she heard, thought she heard..."I'm not quite sure what I heard but I know there is something out there and it could be the shade again or something else. We need to arm ourselves first of all and be prepared that way, then scout around and see what it is. Daniel, did you happen to find anything out there? If you did what do you suggest even if you didn't? anyone else have a suggestion?

Daniel doesn't see anything amiss in the night. No sounds or movement can be seen from his vantage in human form. Shifting to his undead looking self serves to dispel the harsh shadows somewhat, but he still doesn't see or hear anything. All seems to be quiet once again.

Anastasia feels like an idiot now and just frowns "Sorry guys, I guess it was my imagination again playing tricks. I'll go ahead and continue with my watch."
Anastasia goes back to her watch as she said she would, upset that she woke up everyone for no reason but this time she will make sure before she alerts everyone.

Daniel looks at Gerard and speaks to the group as a whole , " My idea would be , I could go out and see what is messin around , if any of you have a gun and is a good shot with it ? Or the better fighter of all ya come with me and we will see what is out there .. rest stay behind this c.o.p. .. And i will leave my chain whip with you guys .. use it at half its length . better for all you that way .. and easier to use .. "
Daniel turns toward the atv carefully wraps his wings around him to move around the c.o.p. and asks, " whos coming ? "

OOC: Just a speculation on my part ... but the duration of the original Circle of Protection spell is probably long over, so it wouldn't be currently active.

The circle remains there, and can be re-activated by any magic user for just a few PPE ... but if it's not active, it's also not protecting (or repelling) anyone.

That may be, but nobody in the party at the cave knows that. They should know it's limited because of darl's parting words, but....

Anastasia stops and thinks for a moment about the circle and Darl's last comment on the limited time of the circles power.
"Hold on Daniel before you do that..remember what Darl said about the limited time of the power of the circle, so I think we need to activate this first again so I think we need to get together and pull our stuff together to get it together and activate it again. what do you say Daniel ..everyone else?"

As Daniel approaches the CoP he can still feel it trying to turn him back and make him not want to come near. The feeling is easily dismissed, however.

As the c.o.p. is fired back up, Daniel feels the push of the ward but ignores it and moves past it.
"Well, I know that is working. Now who is comin or staying?"
