OOC: There are a few things wrong with this post ... 1) As I noted, I was away last week and the line about Darl's reaction was GM flavour, 2) 'Feeling' repulsed is not the same as 'giving you a look', 3) I'm in a moving vehicle facing forward, while you're either behind us so that Darl has his back to you, or you are ahead of us with your back to any looks you might recieve, and 4) Even if I had given you a look, we're not exactly in any sort of a situation which would even make 'conversing' between us possible.

I'm not trying to be a jerk ... it's just that maintaining context is extremely important when playing online - and given the leaps in context here, it starts to feel like you are ignoring the story in order to go out of your way to provoke Darl.

Darl looks over at their driver as the ATV begins veering off the path. Reaching over from the passenger seat, he grabs the wheel and attempts to correct their course. If his attempt meets any resistance from the driver, or he sees that a collision is imminent, he'll cast Time Warp: Slow Motion in an attempt to simplify the task.

OOC: Thank you for that clarification. As the GM, I probably should have caught this earlier and said something myself. The "feeling repulsed" was a direct result of failing the HF roll but was not intended to indicate a specific outward physical reaction on Darl's part. In that context, Daniel's statement doesn't really make sense unless Daniel was "expecting" a response from Darl based on their earlier interactions with each other and was making a preemptive statement. In any event, lets not dwell on it as it doesn't really add anything to the game.

With Darl's help on the steering wheel, they manage to regain control of the ATV long enough for Ethram to recover his composure without Darl having to cast any spells. Taking Gerard's yelled advice he quickly reaches to the dash and flips the accelerator lever to the off position and the vehicle comes to a stop back on the trail. Breathing heavily and still a little flush in the face, Ethram apologizes for overreacting. "The strain of the previous day has made me a wee bit jumpy." {OOC: Casting the time spell turned out not to be necessary.}

As the transformed Daniel approaches in an attempt to return to the ATV in time to help Ethrem gets a little paler but manages to control his urge to do anything rash. While keeping an eye on Daniel he reaches under the seat to retrieve his laser pistol and return it to it's proper place at his hip.

The sun is risen well above the horizon, but it's still early enough that the air is pleasantly cool. I nice day for a drive in the countryside...assuming the group can avoid any further excitement like the ordeal that just passed.

{OOC: Daniel has stated his intentions for the immediate future. He said that he plans to fly ahead a little and act as a scout. What are everyone else's plans now that the self induced crisis has passed.

Jeremy, if Darl wanted to do any further "readings" before you left town, we can go back and add one. I know you were out of town and wouldn't have had a chance to request one last week so I'm okay with the disruption in the time line.}

Anastasia calms herself down quickly, "Wow that was a little too close! Glad you guys were able to help and get things under control. Thank you all and Ethram, it's ok..it was all an unusul experience and quite socking at that for you..so were all good so now things are under control, lets get going to this town. By the way, what is this town all about?"

Gerard rides over to the atv. "Glad you could hear me hollar Ethram." Gerard smiles. "Ok lets try this again shall we? I'll fill you all in on what I know about our destination as we move as well as anyone else please let us all know if you have any info as well."

OOC: I'm waiting to see what the travel plans/speed are before I can answer that. Depending on where everyone is at and how quickly you're travelling it may be impossible to communicate effectively until everyone stops for a break or the evening arrives. To put things in context, You have about 100 miles to go and Zeke can travel about 50 miles a day with a rider (depending on terrain) alternating between walking and trotting/cantering. This comes out to 4 to 10 MPH at any given time. You can push the time later in the day to add a few more miles if someone walks Zeke part of the time as well. Pushing it any more than that and I start rolling dice on possible temporary or permanent injuries to the poor horse. I'm picking on Zeke here because he's the slowest member.

Anastasia looks around at the scenery and time seems to fly by even tho everyones pretty quiet.
"How far do you think we've gone so far?"
As she awaits the drivers answer or anyone elses at this point, she looks over at Zeke. "Poor Zeke", she tells herself.
Anastasia looking at Zeke and wondering how much longer he can be ridden offers to walk him for a while. "I would love to walk Zeke for a while if you don't mind..I need to get out and walk a bit so it would be helpful to both of us I'm sure."
Anastasia now awaits the ok.

Gerard pats Zeke's neck. "He's a trooper and if needed I can catch up with you all if more speed is desired. Sure if you would like to, I'm sure he will like that." Gerard will also keep an eye out as the group moves on to see if anything might look out of place.

OCC- No problem just wanted to give you that freedom depending on when you planned on posting about it.

Anastasia looks around and is getting bored on this bumpy ride and wonders what lies ahead..none seem to want to talk no one seemsto want to say what the town is about ..so now more and more fidgety Anastsaia gets.
