Brad thanks Larry for the oven and microwave, "Oh yeah, these will come in hand, especially with Frank along," he says with a grin.

He unlocks the trailer, leaves the keys with Johnny and pops back into the truck to grab his bow and arrows. "I'm gonna look around, see if I can get any small game, or find any useful herbs. I'll be back in a bit."

OOC: I'm guessing Lysanthra may choose to tag along to search for herbs as well.

Lysanthra quickly volunteers to accompany Brad. "I want to look for herbs as well," she says. She is excited to explore and see what is useful around here. She feels completely at peace in nature. Liz is certain she can forage around and identify some helpful plants for them. She is going to do what she is best at and assist others along the way. She feels very happy and can't stop smiling.

Larry's workers begin filing in, setting up folding chairs and hauling in extra food.

Brad unlocks the trailer, leaves the keys with Johnny and pops back into the truck to grab his bow and arrows. "I'm gonna look around, see if I can get any small game, or find any useful herbs. I'll be back in a bit."

Lysanthra quickly volunteers to accompany Brad. "I want to look for herbs as well," she's excited to explore and see what is useful around here. She feels completely at peace in nature. The two wander off, searching, as Steve opens the trailer up, pauses and looks up, "Umm, we may need rope and blankets to cushion the stuff in here," as he reveals a smashed potato.

Johnny runs over, "What the hell?" he frantically looks around, "Shit! The trailer bounces around too much! Everything's bashed around!"

Sam and Maya race over to see. Talcum powder is everywhere as Frank's bottle of talc had fallen out of his gear and broke, creating a fine powder everywhere. Luckily, no one's soda or milk bottles broke; but a few bottles were chipped. Half of the potatoes have rolled out of the bag and were repeatedly mashed by everyone's gear. The smell of onions is strong as only a few broke free, but were also smashed, inadvertently flavoring the potatoes with their juices. All of the butternut squash had slid to the front of the trailer and were smashed by sliding gear.

Johnny holds up the eggs in amazement, "None of them broke! Woah!" He then sighs as he holds up two flattened loaves of wheat bread and smashed hotdogs and brats, "Damn..." He then holds up some of Steve's sports gear, "Steve! You're crap isn't strapped down!"

"No one's is, ya dumbass! Don't just blame me!"

"Whew!" Sam exhales, "My paints didn't break."

Maya doesn't bother looking through her bag as she says, "I have everything breakable on me."

Sam digs through his bag, finding a broken flashlight, a dented canteen, and his knife had slid out of its sheath and sliced into one of the pockets of his bag. "Awww!"

Brad and Liz hear the commotion before they can even get started.

Lysanthra looks at Brad. "What on earth is going on?" she asks him looking concerned. "We should probably check before venturing out."

"Probably a good call," Brad says before heading over to the trailer.

Upon seeing the mess he boggles a bit before sighing as he too realizes the problem. "Crap. Hmm, does anyone have rope in their gear?"
If the answer is no, he'll go over and ask Larry if he has any extra rope the group can use. oO Good thing my medical gear is stored in the truck. Oo

At the very least, we'll have to spend some time better organizing the loading to minimize sliding/bouncing and pad fragile stuff (actually, that's a good idea even if we can get some rope)

After the basic reorganization is handled, Brad will see if he can repair any of the damaged items (The Flashlight and Sam's bag)

Brad and Liz hear the commotion before they can even get started. Liz glances at Brad. "What on earth is going on?" she looks concerned. "We should probably check before venturing out."

"Probably a good call," Brad replies as he heads back. Upon seeing the mess he boggles a bit before sighing as he too realizes the problem. "Crap. Hmm, does anyone have rope in their gear?" As Liz makes sure her gear is secure, Brad sees a coil of rope wrapped around the frame of her backpack. There's more than enough to secure everything. At the very least, we'll have to spend some time better organizing the loading to minimize sliding/bouncing and pad fragile stuff.

OOC: Depends on if Liz is willing to spare the rope.

After Sam, Steve and Johnny help with reorganizing and securing the cargo, Brad attempts repair any of the damaged items, yet, the flashlight is beyond repair as the whole plastic front had shattered, along with the bulb. Steve has already carefully swept out the glass from the flashlight and talc bottle. Sam is already sewing the cut with some needle and thread (OOC2: yes, someone took sewing as a skill)

Steve leans back against the trailer, "Ah! All in a hard day's work."

Johnny shouts over towards Frank, "What do you need me to grab for lunch? We should probably use these potatoes and onion."

Lysanthra does indeed have some rope and tells them to use some. It's better to be helpful than greedy she decided. When everything is back to calm she still wants to forage around. "Still want to have a look around? " she asks Brad . She's hoping the answer is yes because she doesn't want to go alone.

Frank face palms at the sight of the trailer and sighs, "Cant believe no one thought to strap anything down. Hell even I didn't think to ask or double check." Looking at what got smashed he thinks for a minute what he could cook with what he has. "Looks like its going to be a hearty potato bacon soup for dinner tonight. Johnny you want to bring over the crushed bread as well i think I'm gonna turn that into some croutons to go with the soup or a future salad." He'll then pull out the dutch oven, the iron skillet, his personalized knife and a cutting board to begin cooking. "If you can find the butter so that I can toast and make the croutons that'd be helpful thanks Johnny. Also Liz if you have some seasoning that might be good with either the croutons or the soup let me know what you have. I'm sure it'll be a nice addition to have flavored croutons than just regular ones." He adds with a chuckle before showing everyone the fruits of his training.

"Also if you can find some wild potatoes or onions while you guys are foraging to replace what got damaged that would also be helpful too guys. Frank adds before Brad and Liz get too far away. "Also keep your radios on just in case you need help or we do."

Before leaving to explore, Liz hands Frank some sage and a clove of garlic. "We'll see what's around here and of course stay in communication." Then she heads out with Brad.
