Vi laughs at Steve, "No guts no glory, huh? Wanna spar with me then? I promise you will survive!"

Steve mischievously smirks while shrugging, "We could. Got gloves and headgear?"

Sam elbows him, "Dude... she's undefeated."

"She said she'd go easy on me."

"She's so good that she's an area celebrity!" Emily adds.

"I think it would make for some great and funny pictures." Maya pipes in with a smile that says that they'll be some incredibly humiliating shots of Steve getting his bells rung.

Even Marshal, "Dude, she'd be fighting on a busted up ankle. But if you're gutsy enough. I'll put five credits on her beating you."

"Hey! I didn't say I could win. I just wanna be able to tell people that I boxed a legend when I get old." Steve beams proudly.

"If you survive..." Ingrid blurts out, giving Steve her usual flirty, seductive grin. Maya seems to notice and scowl.

Vi starts laughing ," yeah you gonna need headgear , ill use gloves so it be half way fair . besides you can move around easier. this should be fun !"
Vi eats her fries and smiles.

Lysanthra sees the humor in the group and smiles finally starting to relax. She sips her soda. Liz soon starts to forget about her worries as this entertaining group pokes fun at Steve.

Brad strikes a neutral pose, smiling at the camera for Maya's photo.

Dane rubs the back of his neck. “I’m not afraid to try it. I’m just not fond of the results when one mass hits another at speed.”

Brad laughs and replies, "Having been a mass hitting another mass at speed when I fell off the rope swing, I can't disagree."

"She said she'd go easy on me," comments Steve. To which Brad responds with a chuckle. "No, she said you'd survive. Big difference." Turning to Vi, he adds "You shouldn't push that ankle though, you could make it worse."

Vi laughs with an evil grin ," who said i be moving around . all i gotta do it get him in a corner then lights out , or just scatter his chickens in the middle of the ring while standing on 1 foot ."

"Alright, you guys are now making me have second thoughts. I don't want to end up as some drooling panhandler for the rest of my life." Steve takes another drink, "A few more of these though... I might."

"Then YOU fight her!"

"Or you could fight Teddy. They say he's just as good as her. They were supposed to fight today." Ingrid adds, softly bumping Liz and giving her a smile and a concerned nod, "You okay?"

"I want to learn how to fight from Vi!" Emily over enthusiastically cheers.

Sam suddenly notices Megana is missing, "Oh shit! I was supposed to help her. What do I do? Just walk in and say that I want a job?"

"Yep, that's the idea," Maya giggles at him. She then peers curiously at Brad, "You were with a girl earlier. Who was it? I've seen her around. She's pretty. A girlfriend?" She smiles teasingly at him.

Meg reaches over and takes Dane's hand at the obvious mention of Kendal and eyeing Maya, since she's taken a notice to Brad.

Dane relaxes a little as the conversation flows on around him. He enjoys the warmth of Meg’s hand in his, his thumb resting against her fingers while he absently sips from his drink with the other. During a pause in the banter, he exhales. “Alright,” he says, sounding more resigned than brave. “As soon as we’re done eating… I’ll give the obstacle course a try.”

"Oh peer pressure at it's finest," Steve laughs.

"Oh stop! You're used to getting hurt!" Maya elbows him.

Marshal smirks, "Yeah, you're like an obstacle course snob. You do it everyday back in Smith Falls."

"It's not quite the same, dude." Steve remarks..

"Just be careful, that course is deceiving. Take your time with it," Vi looks towards Emily, "You can't handle what I do."

"Hey! You don't know me!" Emily indignantly shouts, "I'll have you know that I won junior leg wrestling competitions in Smith Falls!"

"Oh golly!" Marshal mocks, "'I won the junior leg..' shut up! What Vi does is extremely dangerous."

Emily's eyes begin to shine with tears as she just becomes quiet and sits back in her chair.

"Wow! That was rather harsh," Miss Hoffman cuts in.

"Sorry." Marshal replies, frowning at Emily. Showing his obvious disdain for his sister.
