Brad squeezes her hand a bit as he smiles. "I'm happy to spend time with you, Kendal."

Looking around a bit he says, "So, what shall we do now? I suspect neither of us is up for anything strenuous after what we went through on the obstacle course. I suppose we could head over to your house so you can get a new shirt."

"That's a great idea!" She leads the way as they leave the festival field and head back towards the residential section of town. They arrive at her house, which is a mixture of barn red and white trim. Upon entering, Brad is assaulted with the smell of rose oil, mixed with linseed oil, a collection of decorations from throughout the past and a fluffy beige carpet, enough to comfortably push a person's toes into. Old finished wooden furniture and a library of books across two bookshelves. Art work adorns most of the walls. The kitchen looks to still run an old wood stove, stainless steel prep table and glass cabinets, showing ornate and delicate dishware and glasses.

Kendal heads into one of her back rooms. Brad notices that he's being lead to her bedroom, where, upon entering, she doesn't even warn him as she shuts the door and just takes off her shirt. She grabs a new silky blue shirt and turns to face him, modeling it, then asks, "What do you think?" With a flirtatious smile.

Brad looks around the house with some curiosity, shifting to a bit nervous as she pulls him to her bedroom.

His first, unspoken, thought in response to her question is 'I think that if her parents catch me in here I'm gonna end up in traction.'

"i-it looks good to me," he manages to say.

"Good," she replies awkwardly, "So, what would you like to do?" Brad notices that she's got fashion pictures, likely ripped from one of Smith Falls' teen periodicals, taped to her walls. Stuffed animals dot her pillows and dolls on bookshelves hint that she still has an attachment to her childhood. Outside of her bedroom window, Brad spots his own house, which is only a few buildings away. In fact, his bedroom window is clearly visible.

OOC: Alright, let's switch it up a bit.

At that moment, there's a knocking at the front door. Kendal confusedly frowns as she goes to answer it. Upon opening the door, there stands Teddy, palefaced, distraut and looks to have gotten sick as he wipes his mouth. "I didn't know where else to go. Dad would just make me work and I didn't wanna be around anyone." He glances over, noticing Brad. "Oh, I didn't know that you had company. I can go."

Ted turns to leave as Kendal stops him, "No no! Come on in. What happened?" Ted glances back at both Brad and Kendal, "Ummm, maybe some other time."

"Brad, would you give Teddy and me a minute?" Kendal asks.

OOC: No prob. I was a shy introvert in high school, didn't date until long afterwords. So I'm clueless about how a teenager would handle that sort of situation.

IC:
Brad looks at Teddy with a bit of concern. "You okay? You don't look so hot." If Ted says he's fine, then Brad will take his leave, telling both that he'll see them later.

After leaving Kendal's house he starts to head back to the fair, before pausing and turning to his house. Since he's near by anyways, he should grab a new shirt of his own, since he forgot to grab his old one before he left Kendal's. On the short walk he does consider the fact that Kendal's window faces his house, and wonders if she may have had feeling for him for longer than he thought.

Once he is again fully dressed, he'll head back to the fair and try and find out what's been happening while he was ... distracted. ;p

OOC2: Oddly enough, I didn't date until my senior year. Have always been kinda awkward around people, unless I know them really well. Best course of action would be to do what you would normally do. Brad has an MA of 12, which is high average, so even if what you say is awkward, it won't seem like that in gameplay thanks to his MA.

Brad looks at Teddy with concern. "You okay? You don't look so hot." If Ted says he's fine, then Brad will take his leave, telling both that he'll see them later.

Teddy's lips make a thin line as he shrugs. "I'll be okay. Thanks, Brad," which is unusual for Teddy to be polite or even friendly. So something must be bothering him.

After leaving Kendal's house, Brad starts to head back to the fair, before pausing and turning to his house. Since he's nearby anyways, he should grab a new shirt of his own, since he forgot to grab his old one before he left Kendal's. On the short walk he does consider the fact that Kendal's window faces his house, and wonders if she may have had feeling for him for longer than he thought.

Once he is again fully dressed, he heads back to the fair and try and find out what's been happening while he was ... distracted. He notices a group, with Dane, Miss Hoffman, Megana and several of the new people, over at the outside lounge of the Bottoms Up, eating food. Vi and some other guy are rather close, arm in arm checking out the obstacle course from the bench near the outhouses. Ingrid Lewis, the town's glass expert, is with a pretty girl, around Brad's age, about to go talk to the group at the Bottoms Up.

Brad decides to join the group at the Bottom's Up. He can grab some food and get caught up on what's been going on with the others.
