Frank watches enthusiastically, "See Johnny, Vi just had some bad luck. Was expecting her to do just as good as Teddy though." Frank checks to see how many people are ahead of them in line. "If you dont want to go first anymore I'll go before you do. Since you don't want to get hurt."

Right after, Teddy breezes through the course and completes stage 1. Megana attempts the course and fails at the rope swing on her first try. She fails on quintuple steps on her second attempt. Sam then tries and fails on the spider climb both times.

They arrive at the steps to the obstacle course, but not before fifteen more people attempt the course. Out of them, one completes the stage and another fails on the cargo net, touching the safety mat on accident. The rest failed miserably. Frank finds himself climbing the steps to the course.

He reaches the stage and walks over to the announcer. The course looks more intimidating from here. He leans down and asks, "What's your name and what do you do?"

OOC: Any special requests for attempting the course? (IE On the rotating balance log, May I just grip the log from below and climb across? My strength is like 4 billion and my balance sucks with my 7 for PP [physical prowess])

Frank looks over and says, "My name is François but most call me Frank and I actually have a small brewery that I make some fine spirits called, verger en colère, give it a try if you see it at the bar." oO(great advertising opportunity even if I fall on my face, better if I don't)Oo

Frank replies, meeting the announcer's gaze, "My name is François but most call me Frank and I actually have a small brewery that I make some fine spirits called, verger en colère, give it a try if you see it at the bar." oO(great advertising opportunity even if I fall on my face, better if I don't)Oo

"Okay, I hope I remember all of that," He grins, bringing the microphone up, "Up next is François, but most of the locals know him as Frank! Frank owns a brewery, which his most popular drinks called vagincool! Give it up for Frank!" As usual, the crowd loudly erupts into cheers as the buzzer rings.

Frank takes off, exhaling like his father taught him about increasing power. He easily bounds across the quintuple step. He grips onto the log for rolling thunder, but finds that if he sticks part of his clothing around the grip brace, it's easier. When the surprise drops occurs, Frank's grip slips, but he manages to recover thanks to his ingenious plan. He climbs off of the log and sees the rope swing. He calculates the best way to swing across, grabs the rope and launches out... and realizes that he miscalculated... (failed math check for a bonus to PS check. PS check failed by four)

Frank is stuck hanging on and trying to gain momentum to swing back out. He manages to reach the starting platform to try again. His muscles are already beginning to ache. He recalibrates his launch vector and jumps again. He swings across and manages to climb onto the platform for the warped wall.

He runs down the ramp, runs up the wall and leaps hard, he reaches back and manages to grab the ledge. A lip in the ledge makes it easier to pull himself up. He glances at the clock; 2:33.

Up ahead is the spinning log. Frank estimates the rate of rotation and begins carefully stepping across. He completes the task with 2:00 left. Up next is the spider jump and climb. Frank drops down and bounces as high as he can, then wedges himself between the plastic walls. He realizes that the skid marks from previous contenders allows more grip, so he quickly completes the wall. Clock: 1:45

While wedged in the spider climb, there is no platform to jump to the zipline. So Frank leaps out and grabs the zipline and glides across and leaps to the cargo net, which he lands low. He's forced to climb under and up while keeping his feet up to avoid touching the mat. As Frank slaps the buzzer to complete the stage, he looks back at the time: 0:06. He cut it close!

"Oh my LORD!" The announcer shouts, "We have another winner joining us at noon! Give it up for François!" The crowd roars as steam is ejected up around the stage one completion platform.

Frank watches as Steve climbs the steps to compete. He nods to Frank and thumbs ups to Johnny. He briefly speaks to the announcer. The announcer smiles and roars into the microphone again, "Let's give it up for Steve Campbell! He's a professional stuntman and comedian from Smith Falls! His hobbies are walks on the beach over a moonlit sunset."

The buzzer sounds and he runs, quite fast! He breezes as easily through the quintuple step as Teddy and Meg's first tries. He easily completes 'Rolling Thunder' and swings across the rope swing. He runs down the ramp for the warped wall, runs back up the wall and climbs over like it was his neighbor's low fence. He then sprints across the rotating log and just hops down for the trampoline into the spider jump and climb. He makes the spider obstacle his personal playground as he leaps out for the zipline, neatly catching and sliding to the end, where he dives for the cargo net, catching it and climbing over. He rolls across the net and climbs up and smacks the completion buzzer.

"Would you guys look at that? A new course record! Four minutes and twelve seconds still remaining on the clock! Give it up for Steve the Stuntman! We'll see him again at noon!" The announcer blares.

Steve must have made the course look so easy that Johnny changed his mind and climbs up. He greets the announcer and gets ready. "Up next, we have Johnny Hollis! A local track and field star!"

The buzzer sounds. Johnny takes off. The terrified look fades away as he makes the quintuple steps look just as easy as Steve did. Unfortunately, the rolling thunder spun so fast that he was flung from the actual obstacle, over the safety mat, and onto the hard dirt and gravel, just a few feet from Frank. He sits up and shakes his head. He glances angrily at Frank, "Yup! I knew it!" He stands up and brushes himself off, a large scrape across the back of his shoulders where his shirt had ripped open.

"Oh no!" The announcer almost laughs, "Let's hope that Johnny is okay." As workers come and make sure that he's fine. Johnny nods and walks over to Frank and Steve, who's talking about how awesome his run is.

Johnny knocks Frank's hand away, "No, I'm fine. It just stings!" He gasps, "Oh crap! We have to sign up for the race!" He begins half trotting, half limping for the signup sheet, not far from the obstacle course.

Frank follows and jokingly asks, "So which side did you want to be tied up for the race?" Keeping with Johnny's pace. "What was the prize for the race again?"

"Whichever leg is your dominant side and winners get a whole credit." He says with a confident smile, "I hope that you can keep up."

The trio walks to the three-legged race, eventually accompanied by an exotic looking brunette, named Maya. Steve volunteers to be her partner as the quartet arrive at the signup table.

After signups, Johnny picks a spot right near Dane and Miss Hoffman, who're already getting tied up to try a few practice runs. All around, people are getting ready.

"We have about five minutes before it starts." Maya tells Steve, who is stretching to limber up.

"I'm more worried about you Johnny. The rope was the only thing that I really had and problems with and that's more my hands not legs." Frank says confidently.

Megana and Sam arrive and begin getting ready.

"I'm more worried about you Johnny. The rope was the only thing that I really had and problems with and that's more my hands, not legs," Frank says confidently.

Several people are doing warm ups and running some practice attempts. Many fall, some look coordinated and fast enough.
