She chuckles as she answers, "Horse Racing. Yeah, I like to be around animals more than other people," she laughs nervously. "I wish you luck, I think your competing against some powerful folks."

"Ah well?" He guffaws, "I don't have to be powerful. Just smart." He looks in the direction of the stables, which is nearly impossible to see through the crowd, "Horse racing. Wow, that's dangerous!" He seems to admire Meg more, "That's not for a few hours. Would you like to try the obstacle course or would you be interested in a partner for the three-legged race?"

She pounders on his request "yeah sure id be up to do obstacles and the three legged race as long i can get to my race in time" she smiles at sam. Shes always up for a challenge "Lets go!"

Megana considers his request, "Yeah, sure I'd be up to do obstacles and the three-legged race as long as I can get to my race in time," she smiles and adds, "Lets go!"

Sam laughs as he unexpectedly takes her hand. He's strong and easily keeps up. At that moment, Lord Stein can be heard, over the roar of the crowd, on a loudspeaker, "Egg toss challenge and the three-legged race after are coming up! If you haven't signed up yet, then it would be best to do so now!" There is a slight pause, "After that, signups for the tug-o-war tournament will commence!"

The two stand in line, several people behind the front of the line. Sam nudges her, "Do you want to go first? Or would you like me to try first?" He still hasn't let go of her hand. Up ahead, Megana sees something she would never have thought she would see in her lifetime. Teddy and Vi, with their arms around each others' shoulders, waiting in line a few people ahead of them.

She then hears someone, from behind, scream out, "Sam! I'm back here!" She turns to see a tall skater looking guy standing with Frank and Johnny.

Sam never lets go of her hand as he waves back, "Steve! What took you so long? Where's Maya?"

Steve shrugs, "I found Johnny and Frank."

Megana looks up at same "Friends of yours?" She inquired but mostly hangs back observing

Megana peers over at Steve, "Friends of yours?" She asks, while observing.

"Yeah, he's my best friend." He smiles, "He was here last year and told me and Maya to come check this out. I have to admit that it just got way better," He fondly admires Megana as he squeezes her hand back.

Sam seems to help the time pass as the line moves forward after another young kid fails within the first two obstacles. The little boy emerges from the safety mat, crying like he'd lost his best friend.
