Brad picks up his cards and looks to see what he has before deciding what he wants to do.
He thinks to himself 'Okay, I gotta try and make sure I don't react, good or bad. Don't want to come across like a dog wagging his tail whenever I get a half decent draw.'
Assuming his hand isn't complete garbage, he'll call and slide a couple seeds into the pot.
OOC: a Call means to match the current bet, which at the moment is the big blind, correct?
Also, I recall that in case of a tie (2 players each having a pair of Kings for example) the tie is broken based on the suits, but I don't recall the order of the suits. I think highest are Spades followed by Clubs, but I'm unsure if Hearts or Diamonds are lowest ranked.

OOC2: I may not use all of your responses, but don't fret, I will still award experience for the replies. So, with that, here we go! I'm going to assume that everyone's playing.
Frank looks at where everyone has sat and chooses to sit next to Dane, "Yea, sounds like some fun and a good way to pass some time." He says as settling in his chair. oO(this should be interesting)Oo
Once everyone settles in, Dane scoops up the pile of popcorn seeds and does his best to split them into even portions, sliding little piles across the table to each player. “All right,” he says, straightening up a bit, “let’s start simple—two seeds for the big blind, one for the small. Vi, you’re small blind. Johnny, you’ve got big blind." Everyone has ten seeds.
The sheriff sits right next to Frank and Miss Hoffman. He nods to her and tosses a piece of paper into the pot. "Deal me in," he replies, giving every player a respectful nod.
Dane takes a steady breath and deals two cards, one by one, around the table. He’s careful and deliberate, making sure every player gets what they’re supposed to and none of the cards go flying off the table. He is successful.
OOC3: Everyone check your forum private messages. If you scroll to the top of the page (any page), then you'll see notifications and private messages. I'll have sent you your 2 card hand in private messages. Betting order, for players, is Brad, Frank, Dane, Vi and then Megana.

OOC5 Answer: Incorrect. In the case of two players tying with a pair (etc), the tie breaker would be the next highest card. Suits dont matter. For example. Two players have a pair of Aces. Yet one player has K 3 4 and the other has Q J 10. The player with the King wins. If they have the same exact hands, in terms of card values and not suits, then the pot is split.

Ooc: When Dane's turn comes around, he'll call if it's still at 2, but reserve the right to rethink it if anyone raises.

Miss Hoffman looks as though she is about to bet as she counts out two seeds. The sheriff has already bet, making Brad wonder what he actually bet with the piece of paper.

Dane burns a card, meaning that he gets rid of one before he turns the flop, and no one gets to know what it is. He then flips the flop one card at a time.

Johnny audibly groans as he watches the cards flop (Crit fail on his MA check). The sheriff sits back and watches everyone while he gives a knowing smile.
Everyone calls the ante, meaning that there are eight total players involved with this hand. Sheriff Ericson nods to everyone, "Smart. I'm all in," He declares, nodding to his slip of paper. This makes the pot worth fourteen seeds and a mysterious slip of paper.

He leans back a little, giving Vi and Johnny space to make their choices, though his own attention drifts for a moment—wondering what that folded slip of paper might mean.
When the dust settles, he looks toward the sheriff and the others who’ve matched his bet. “Alright, Mr. Ericson—and anyone else who called—please turn your cards face up since everyone left is all-in.”
Once the cards are shown, Dane burns the top card, sets it neatly aside, and lays out the fourth card—the turn. Without hesitation, since the betting is already decided to the end, he repeats the motion, burning another and revealing the final card, the river.

Megana remain neutral and folds as as she just looks around the room as the current round isnt good "ill fold for this round"
