Ill begin, in the older HU book, there is a psionic called Mesmerize. "clap your hands until I say stop." Then walk away, don't ever return.

I remember being told by my brother of a session where 2 characters simulated a 'mage', one of them had animal metamorphosis and pretended to be the mage's familiar whom he would 'magically' transform into various animals with 'magic spells' plus use of their other powers.

having a character with Mimic as part of a team can be pretty fun (switching back and forth between partners as needed)

I once designed a minor villain I called Riot (Multiple bodies, energy expulsion fire, Extraordinary PS, and something else that I can't recall, perhaps Healing Factor.)

Had a character with Alter Physical Structure Metal and the power to transform his limbs into melee weapons (I forget the power name)

recently had two pcs duking it out. One had force strike, the other had tk punch. Was fun to run that. The best part is that they're siblings.

Me, my brother and some friends once made a team of C- or D-rate heroes (we'd been inspired after watching the film Mystery Men) and we had some fun.

the characters included:
- A character with APS: Metal and 'body weapons' (forget the name, can grow claws or turn arms into swords/axes/hammers/etc), really tough and strong, but on the slow side even in flesh and blood form. Turning metal cut his speed in half (or more), so he was a tank, but not hard to run away from.
- A character with Invulnerability, extraordinary Spd, and could make energy bursts when he punched/hit something. Downside was he was a scrawny young teenager, and at least once was immobilized by dumping a wrecked car on him (it didn't hurt him but he couldn't move it off of himself)
- A character that had wingless flight and somesort of energy expuilsion (forget what else), but she was a stereotypical blond ditz.
- a character with the Control Insects and Arachnids power, except he was arachnophobic and often used it to make spiders go AWAY!
- a psychic with several offensive and utility powers, but no defensive ones, making him something of a glass cannon.
- and the last that I can recall had darkness based powers, but I forget what her drawback was.
