EOTC: Z Day
Re: EOTC: Z Day
“I must be getting rusty. Although you let a shambling menace get you to the ground. I thought that was my job.” Yuno explains with a laugh. “And you…” She pauses to shake her head. “I should have fully guess you would not play fair. But if you hadn’t, there wouldn’t be much fun.” She lifts her sword to inspect it. “I hope that car didn’t injure my heirloom.” She traces her finger down the edge of the sword inspecting it until she reaches the apex. The gleam of sunset bounces off the blade illuminating her perfect oval face and almond eyes. The sunlight only make her beauty all the more entrancing. She scans the dead ones lying along the ground. These should be burned. Just in case. She kneels down next to one and rips some cloth from its shirt. Standing back up she swipes the cloth along the blade to get gunk off of it.
“Oh I nearly forgot!” She giggles while she walks aside of the car. “My hatchlings, you should find a more suitable location to hide in shame and fear. Let the big girls handle this.” She lifts her finger and points to the stranger from before. “Go to that… boy?” Yuno’s inflection on the boy clearly meant she wasn’t sure what to call the fragile being. “It’s safer over there.” She turns to walk back towards Lux to place her hand on her shoulder and a deep look into her eyes. An almost sensual look. “Sorry about your near eye surgery.” Yuno can't help but laugh again. “Let us clear these infestations. Same bet as before.” With that, Yuno commences her stance for battle.

“Oh I nearly forgot!” She giggles while she walks beside the car. “My hatchlings, you should find a more suitable location to shamefully hide in fear. Let the big girls handle this.” She points to the young stranger, “Go to that… boy?” Yuno’s inflection, on the boy, clearly means she isn't sure what to call the fragile being. “It’s safer over there.” She walks back to Lux, placing a hand on her shoulder while looking almost sensually and intently into deep, sea green eyes, “Sorry about your near eye surgery.”
Yuno can't help but laugh again. “Let us clear these infestations. Same bet as before.”
Lux's determined smirk returns, "It's a close one!"
Mazur watches as the two beautiful women assume their artistic combat poses. The brunette assuming a more elegant, graceful and delicate stance, as she extends the sword, pointing straight up the street. The red head assumes a more rigid boxing stance, with her hands dangling loosely ahead of her torso.
Ret immediately runs over to Mazur, "Where is everyone? I got split up from Hughe, Susan and Kar at the edge of town." He glances at Beth, "I thought you were with Reggie and Ryan." then to Amy, "And who're all these cute new ladies?" A characteristic goofy grin spreads a majority of Ret's face, as the ladies remain silent behind Mazur.
Meanwhile, Yuno and Lux only see two more advancing undead. The rest seem to have scattered, chasing the locals around town. Someone peeks out from the shades of the clinic, then quickly disappears from sight. Yuno was only able to make out that it was a young man, with long, raven hair, probably in his mid-twenties.
The two incoming undead are slow, but large. They cast elongated shadows, stretching past the edge of town behind them, exaggerating their height. With the sun setting behind them, Yuno feels her confidence return. Lux mutters under her breath, "Yup, that's not very fair, Mistress."

Re: EOTC: Z Day
Yuno’s sluggish demeanor washed away as the sun retreated. A cascade of twilight would soon wash over Lux and her. “Fair?” Yuno contested. “That is where one takes swine for fine judgement. Life is hardly tantamount for all who inhabit this realm.” She turned her head and met Lux’s face with a partial sneer. “You of all people should know this.” Yuno places her hand atop Lux’s shoulder. “We are gods.” Her sneer turned playful and jubilant as the night had come.
“Now.” She released Lux’s shoulder to take a step forward at the lollygagging brutes before them. “Let us sweep the town.” She readies her pose for attack. “Make this quick. I want a bath.” Yuno leaps into action as she finishes her sentence hoping Lux would not be completely ready to engage. With her speed. the sword was almost humming as it sliced the dusk air. A small chilly breeze was among the desert air now that the sun had dropped.
Her blade firmly aimed at the zombie on the right and her hand aimed directly for the others throat. Surly their heads would come right off.
OOC: well hopefull they come right off haha

Yuno’s sluggish demeanor washes away with the retreating sun, allowing a twilight cascade to wash over them. “Fair?” Yuno contests, “That is where one takes swine for fine judgement. Life is hardly tantamount for all who inhabit this realm.” She turns a partial sneer at Lux. “You, of all people, should know this.” Yuno places her hand atop Lux’s shoulder. “We are gods.” Her sneer morphs jubilantly playful with the night arrival. “Now.” releasing Lux’s shoulder, advancing toward the lollygagging brutes, “Let us sweep the town.” She readies herself. “Make this quick. I want a bath.” Yuno springs into action, hoping Lux isn't ready. A cool, night breeze caresses her hair as her sword cuts through the dusk only nicking the brute on the right.
Lux unexpectedly and quickly jumping thrust kicks the left undead backward. She lands and springs after it. "Oh no you don't!"
Almost distracted, Yuno catches the brute's fist, grating her feet across the gravel road with surprising strength. She initiates 'en pointe work' towards it, lancing her sword for its eyes. Unsure of what just transpired, Yuno horribly misses while the brute punches the side of her blade, snapping it in half. It ceases vibrating, sticking into the dirt at its feet.
Lux trips while landing. Her folly is quickly apparent as she is straight armed by the throat. The undead hoists her off of the ground and begins squeezing. Her feet begin flailing, unable to grip the ground.
The situation seems grim as Yuno pierces her undead through the heart with the remainder of her sword. It responds with a kick, launching Yuno several feet backward; followed by tripping over an oversized chunk of gravel. She knocks her head. For as strong as it is, it wasn't as painful as her last adversary. Yuno springs back to her feet. The undead's advance places it in grabbing range again.
Meanwhile, Lux feebly tries to break the zombie's arm. It's too strong and continues to squeeze tighter. She unattractively flexes her neck, gritting her teeth, avoiding a crushed windpipe. She swings her legs up, using the undead's strength to keep her afloat and delivers a rally of annihilating stomps against its face. It releases her. She thumps backward against the gravel, gasping for breath. The undead lands at her feet, spilling blood from a faceless wound. It scrambles to crawl back to its feet. "Why won't you DIE?" She shouts as she rolls to her side.
In the meantime, the zombie, facing Yuno, reaches for her. She performs a grand écart, leaping forward, splattering the undead's face with a graceful, blurring kick. She notices Lux beside her, stomping the other undead's head into the gravel, smiling seductively. Her exhilarated eyes twinkle with excitement, "We're still tied."
Ret and Beth stare in awe at the blur of action. They'd seen similar, action packed movies that were dismissed as choreographed, fake performances delivered for the entertainment of a select audience. Amy's nonchalant expression seems indicative of an individual who's experienced in witnessing advanced martial combat.
"Woah..." Ret breathes, "Mazur, have you ever seen anything like that?"
OOC: Yes, both Lux and Yuno rolled ones.

"For once ..." Mazur responds, "... I'm speechless."
Just who were these strangers, and where did the learn to fight like that? That complete and utter absence of fear ... it was somewhat awe-inspiring; or at least it would be, if it wasn't also completely and utterly insane. And that strength ... she had said they were gods. Of course, they couldn't be ... but who, or what, were they?
Turning to Ret, he answers the question at long last. "Beth and I got separated from the others when they foolishly decided to rush out and attack one of the creatures," he states with a touch of disdain at their decision. "We didn't see them, but the last thing I heard was them running, and what I assume was the creature chasing after them. We ran into Amy, here, in the garage ... she was looking for a safe hiding place, much like the rest of us."
Calling out a "thank you" towards the pair of ladies as they move off to their next kill, and feeling somewhat emboldened by their display, he comments, "Well, they certainly appear to have things well in hand here ... shall we head back and see how the Crenshaw Police are doing up on the next block?" Somehow, he suddenly felt much calmer about the situation, after watching the very capable fighters dispatch the creatures; knowing that there was someone with both the knowledge and ability actively cleansing the infestation from the town. With the panic and fear subsiding, he found it was being replaced by something of a morbid curiousity ...

Ret almost answers as the redhead considers Mazur, Ret, Amy and Beth for a moment, then addresses Yuno like they're zoo animals, "Look at them! It's like they've never seen true beauty." She playfully giggles, approaching Ret. Her fingers drag across his shoulder, "It's been a long time since I've had a man touch me." She leans in close to his cheek, "You're handsome. Will you touch me?" Her lips purse as Ret gulps. "If you don't want to, then maybe he will." Her twinkling eyes playfully skip to Mazur.
Beth glowers, "Umm, he's MY boyfriend."
Amy steps forward, "I will. If you will protect us." Her face is blank, as though she's experienced in bartering her body.
Lux shoots a surprised, sidelong glance at Yuno, "Did you hear that?" She faces Yuno, striking a modeling pose, "I'm EEEresistable." She gives a graceful bow to Mazur, "You're truly welcome. Thank you for thanking us. We don't get that often." She then glances to Amy, "It seems that you and me could use a bath together." She winks, giving a quick look-over of Amy's tattered attire and dirty features.
Mazur feels Beth grab his hand, fumbling to interlock her fingers with his. Her hands are trembling.
Yuno can hear the shouts of combat toward the end of the street. Ret's voice interrupts, "I'd... umm... I don't... I... yeah... Can I join?" His goofy half smile admires Lux's figure.

Re: EOTC: Z Day
Mazur takes two steps forward, returning Luz's bow as he puts distance between himself and Beth's searching fingers, also taking on a more 'official' tone.
"You're welcome," he responds to Lux. "And excitement like this, well ... you could say that we don't get something like this happening very often, either. Or ever, really."
"On behalf of the village, and my father the mayor, I'd like to officially welcome you to Camp Wilson ... I'm sorry we aren't able to provide a warmer reception right now, but as you can see, things are just a little chaotic at the moment. We would certainly welcome your assistance in clearing out the rest of this invasion; after which I would be happy to introduce you to the elders ... I'm sure they will want to thank you in person for your help, in whatever ways we can."
Addressing the rest of the rest of the locals, he states, "Okay folks, this isn't done yet. I believe Shep's instructions were to rendezvous at the library, wasn't it? These two have things well in hand, but there is still work to be done elsewhere. We stick together as a group ... Ret and Amy, take either side of this rope between you ... if we run into another of the creatures, you two run to either side of it, and pull the rope taut so as to trip and entangle it. They're clumsy - that will buy us time to make our way around it. We don't engage directly ... everyone clear?"
Then, stepping back towards Beth, and in an attempt to help calm her, he adds quietly, "You know ... you'll never land Reggie if you claim me as your boyfriend, right?", before turning and limping back up the alley towards the town center and rendezvous point.

Lux smiles, letting her twinkling, green eyes gaze into Mazur's. She reaches for Amy's hand, which Amy takes without hesitating. She then fondly gazes into Amy's eyes. "My name is Lux." She absently points her thumb at Yuno, "She is my mistress." She gives Mazur a serious look for once, "We never speak her name. Do you understand?" Without waiting for an answer, she goes back to admiring Amy.

Lux leans in to smell Amy's hair, nearly gags and mutters, "Yes, a bath will be good," under her breath, barely paying attention to Mazur. Amy lowers her surrendering eyes. To Mazur, it's easy to tell she's uncomfortable. Even Yuno can sense her uneasiness. Though, Lux is still mumbling away, "I should buy you a garter, thigh highs and get those," She happily squeaks as she unexpectedly pinches Amy's exposed nipple, "pierced!" Amy's hands tremble as she glances between Mazur and Yuno before lowering her eyes.

Ret nods, semi confident and semi distracted with Lux and Amy. Amy stares at Lux as though asking for permission. Lux pushes her playfully, "Go ahead, he looks smart." Amy and Ret both take the opposite ends of Mazur's rope.
"Okay," Ret confidently replies, "I'm ready."
Mazur backs toward Beth in an attempt to help calm her; quietly adding, "You know, you'll never land Reggie if you claim me as your boyfriend, right?"
"I don't care." she replies.
Before limping back up the alley towards the rendezvous point, Mazur hesitates. He looks over his shoulder at Lux and Yuno, adding, "Unless the two of you would like to join us. It does sound like there's more fun to be had up here on the next street."
At that moment, the sound of a four wheeler moving erupts from a few streets over. It sounds as though it'd only moved a few feet. The cracks of two high powered gunshots echo from outside of town.
Lux smiles, letting her twinkling, green eyes gaze into Mazur's. She reaches for Amy's hand, which Amy takes without hesitating. She then fondly gazes into Amy's eyes. "My name is Lux." "The quad's are back. Let's go!" Mazur suggests, limping back up the alley they came down, then towards the sound of the four wheelers.
