Belle, Gerard, Daniel

Morning dawns bright and sunny. Then again, almost every morning dawns bright and sunny on Wormwood, so that's not surprise. It would likely mean something bad was coming this way if it weren't bright and sunny.

OOC: How late do you want to sleep? You only had a couple of hours of darkness left before you finally crawled into bed. I'll roll the dice to see who got the last watch.

Daniel opens his eyes and looks at the ceiling of the room.
"Anyone awake yet?", Daniel says with a yawn as he sits up.

After stretching out his limbs , he looks around for the goblin.
"Now where did he go ?"

Belle would have stated, "Somebody needs to keep an eye on the Goblin," and made sure that there was somebody on watch at all times. Not the Goblin of course.

The female Apok would want to get up early. The spell concealing the bikes will only last for forty eight hours after all.

OOC: The "somebody watch the goblin at all times" was implied. I needed to fast forward your thread because the other thread was in stasis waiting for you guys to catch up. Nothing exciting was going to happen during the night anyway. You guys needed a chance to rest and recover some PPE in preparation for the next chapter. I thought about including the goblin in the watch rotation roll. It would have meant that someone fell asleep during their watch and left him in charge. Decided you guys weren't quite that tired yet.

IC: Belle is awoken just before dawn by Gerard. The last shift was hers. The goblin was sound asleep snoring softly in the corner as she listened to the sounds of the night. He occasionally twitched in his sleep and made little mewling sounds as he dreamed. The sun comes up and sounds of night turn to sounds of day. The muffled voices of people talking can be heard coming from downstairs and the smell of cooking food eventually wafts up as Belle waits for the others to wake.

Daniel is the first of her three companions to wake. "Anyone awake yet?", He says with a yawn as he sits up and looks around for the goblin. "Now where did he go?" he asks no one in particular just before he spots him in the shadows still sleeping.

Thanks to their above average physical endurance, the lack of sleep isn't affecting either of them too much...yet. A thought comes unbidden to Daniel's still slightly sleep befuddled mind .oO Nothing a good cup of coffee wouldn't cure Oo.

Gerard moves restlessly at the sound of Daniel's voice, but remains sleeping on his bedroll.

"I have been keeping a careful eye on him," Belle states. "I wish that I did not have to wake you but we do need to see if we can find your friends."

Gerard here's Belle's words in his now half conscious state. No matter what his brain thinks of it, though, his body says "You're tired, maybe you should ignore her and go back to sleep".

Belle decides to see if maybe she can help him wake up quicker. She takes off her mask, bends down and kisses him on the forehead. "Now, wake up and let's go?"

That definitely got Gerard's attention. He is now wide awake.

Daniel looks around,"Looks like a round of coffee is in order!"
With that said Daniel gets up and checks his gear and makes sure everyone is up.

"Well that wasn't a way I expected to wake up." Gerard smiles. "Sorry just a bit tired is all. How do we want to proceed? We still need to find the others and it may be better if we keep him(Gerard nods towards the goblin) right where we are as to not attract more attention."
