Re: EOTC Past posts
"Hmm... name doesn't sound familiar." Shep responds to the shopkeeper. "Maybe if you describe him." He sits back down on his atv and gets ready to start driving again as soon as the others are ready.
OOC: Couldn't find the name in the old posts, but maybe I missed it.

Jack keeps an eye on Adrian making sure he is moving okay and gets ready to follow them into town "for some reason that name rings a small bell but I can't place it.... I might be thinking of someone else though. Lucas you wouldn't happen to have any of your antibiotics with you would you?" Hoping against probability rarely pays off. But it never hurts to at least check your luck too its a long shot but maybe he had some in a pocket that he forgot about Oo
Ooc: really not sure why but that name does ring a small bell somewhere...

OOC: The Sheriff's new buddy's name is Al, maybe Lucas is talking about him. Or, it could just be a blind coincidence

OOC: Well duh! on my part. Didn't think of searching for Al...then again, wouldn't have mattered since I have the search engine set to a three character limit.
Thanks for the reminder. It's been a couple months since that dialog and I had totally forgotten the dudes name.
IC: "This Alan guy a friend of yours?" Shep asks casually. "Long lost Uncle maybe? Or maybe he just owes you money." Shep smiles disarmingly, attempting to act as if the questions are just casual curiosity.

Adrian looks at the two guys opposite of them, "Sure i think we can spare the time." Adrian gently rubs the back of his head trying to avoid as much pain as possible. "But looking at what they need, is more urget. Lucas lets say we get moving and get what we need for them ?"
Lucas nods seeming to have a look of determination seems to bring out the dark brown of his eyes.

Lucas nods, "Sure thing, no he isn't my uncle, just an old friend. He is a bounty hunter and quite good at it. He has a friend in your town." He turns his bike around, slightly breaking traction with his tires, spitting out a burst of dust, "But first, let's get the antibiotics for your friends." He glances back, "You can pay me later, if that's alright with you."

"Sounds great." Shep responds to the comment about payment. In his rush to get out of town and get help, the thought of how he was going to pay for the stuff hadn't really crossed his mind. {OOC: I just kinda assumed he had at least a few credits to his name. Not sure if the local economy uses standard CS credits or what, though.} "By the way, we did have a stranger show up at about the same time as we were attacked. He seemed to be friends with Sheriff Harper; mayhap he's your guy."Chaser1 wrote: Lucas nods, "Sure thing, no he isn't my uncle, just an old friend. He is a bounty hunter and quite good at it. Shep quickly follows the bike and it's passengers towards the next town...trying to avoid the dust being kicked up in its passing.

Lucas' love for high speeds is quite apparent as Shep and Jack do their best to keep up. Slowly, Lucas begins to outdistance the two until he is forced to slow down. This whole time, Mariam and Adrian occasionally get pelted by a random insect, inciting an involuntary, "ow," along with it.
Crenshaw Lake looms in ahead. It's much larger than Camp Wilson, although, everyone has heard of larger cities. The city is said to be quite unique to outsiders. The city actually is an island in the middle of Crenshaw Lake with only two thin bridges leading across the lake into the city. Eventually the sandy ground starts to show signs of a travelled road the closer they get to the the town. Eventually, the quintet drives up onto the bridge across the lake.
Shep and Jack manage to catch glimpse the sun sparkling off of the waves in the lake, only to be reminded of killer jumping fish and the need for medical supplies and help. Up ahead, they reach the other end of the bridge, driving into the main street, which is lined with tall, red, brick buildings of varying sizes and heights. Lucas slows down and eventually leads the group through an alleyway and towards what looks like the back of a shop. He begins to slow down and then eventually stops, holding up his hand towards Shep and Jack. "We have company." He says in a low, grave voice.

OOC: Most Camp Wilson citizens pay for their goods in trade but yes, you guys have a few credits.

Jack follows Lucas' lead slowing to a stop while casually and slowly reaching for a knife, trying to keep his voice down he asks "Any idea who it might be?". He listens intently to the surroundings hoping to pick out any signs of potential danger.
