Seeing Jack take the lead and realizing that they will be able to travel much faster on two ATV's, Shep moves to within ten feet of the rear and just to the right of the ATV. "Please, lives are at stake." He says loud enough to be heard over the noise from the ATV. He attempts to inflect an authoritative tone of voice as if to say 'Please do as we ask so no one has to get hurt.' as he turns his palms towards the person in a pleading gesture. The gesture has the side affect of making the pistol in his right hand quite obvious. {OOC: Trust/intimidate @ 70%}

Jack runs in front of the ATV to stop him from pulling off "I know you are scared but we need these to get

help, before someone dies!"

"Okay okay!" the man exclaims, "Those things... I don't want to die!" He backs away, allowing Jack and Shep to

get onto the four-wheelers. The mayhem back towards the stream continues as shouts and screams echo outward.

Obvious fear emenate from the man's eyes.

"You'll be fine. Just stay away from the river." Shep reassures the man. "We're going to get help and medical supplies for the injured. Stay safe until we get back." Mounting one of the four wheelers, Shep fires the engine and takes off towards Lake Crenshaw after tucking the gun securely in a pocket. He pushes the speed as much as he dares; taxing his driving skills, but trying hard to stay below the edge total recklessness. He looks quickly for Jack to see that he's following and making sure that he can handle the pace. It would not be wise to separate. {OOC: Not sure what his piloting skills are, but trying to get to Lake Crenshaw as quickly as possible but still in one piece.}

OOC: As unskilled 0th level, no skills present other than attribute checks. Anything deemed as wreckless or excessive would require a skill or be forced to make a very difficult check (with standard penalties) vs corresponding attributes.

Shep and Jack take off towards the north, where Lake Crenshaw is. On the way out, several people notice the two and try and get them to stop. The day is sunny and rather peaceful out in the wastes. Following the treeline of the stream that leads to the city around the lake, up ahead, they see a motorcycle speeding towards them, kicking up quite the dust cloud behind them.

Shep signals to Jack that he's slowing down. He keeps the vehicle moving, but wants to see who this is. Maybe it's someone that can help.

Jack slows down and matches shep's pace, veering a bit away from shep, just far enough that the motorcycle would pass between them on its current path. Hoping that its someone that can help rather then someone who intends to harm.

The motorcycle has a sidecar on it. There is a young man wearing a leather biker jacket with a symbol on it. Riding on the back of the bike is a very attractive female and in the side car is a young man whos blonde hair looks as though it has quite a bit of blood streaked through it. His clothing has blood on it too. THe rider of the motorcycle slows to a stop and waves, smiling, "Hi, there. You two look in a big hurry. Is there something I can help with? My name is Lucas."

Jack stops as well, keeping ready to speed off if the situation goes south. "Hi Lucas, nice to meet you, we ran into a bit of trouble back home and are headed in to get some help hopefully." oO better to be vague and play it safe for the moment Oo "everything okay with you? your passenger looks a bit banged up"

Jack keeps an eye on Shep for any warning signs from him, since Shep has more experience with outsiders and people in general.

Shep looks over the trio carefully, looking for signs of what type of people they might be. Are there any weapons visible? Does his first impression lead him to think they can be trusted or are they going to be part of the problem?

Adrian feels himself starting to be lost in the feeling of the wind hitting his face. He begins to fall asleep untill he feels the engine of the bike rev down and the wind dies down .

Adrian leans forward slightly and opens his eyes ,"Guys, everything ok ? What's going on ?"
