OOC: I love the description and intrigue, Ed ... but it's feeling a bit more 'open rift' than 'teleport: superior', which reads that it 'instantly transports'. My assumption was that the group would be relocated as soon as the spell completed, with no actual movement required ... but if you're actually asking for next actions and manually jumping through the portal/dimensional storm(?), then we had completely different perspectives on how this spell worked. :)

Redo:

Raven gives a surprised look to Kila as he begins to start for the center of the circle, where the energy is gathering. He stops, looking from Kila to Jenna and Ricky. He nods after giving her a quick glance. He seems to stare mostly at her lips, as though waiting for her to say something. He then leads her towards Jenna and helps Ricky prop Jenna up on their shoulders. "You're right." Is all he says as he reaches back for Kila. Any second now...

Kila watches Raven as she lets him lead her toward the others. "We have to hurry"she says softly as she takes Ravens had keeping betty's reins tight in her other hand.

There is a brief flash, the group appears in some very short mossy grass beneath a giant monolith of a tree, casting its great shade across the group. The area feels welcoming as several sprites flutter by, carefully examining everyone and then giggling between themselves. The tree is so massive that the grooves in the bark alone are enough for a person to fit inside of or even climb. For a moment, Tyran catches a glimpse of an almost ghostly looking naked female peeking from behind the tree. She is gorgeous from what he could tell, but didn't stay in sight long enough to catch anymore detail than that. The tree is about 50 meters from the group as they appear.

Tyran looks up at the tree.

"Apologies for suddenly dropping in like this, but we just encountered three Splugorth Slaver barges which have just arrived on shore not far from here," he states, to noone in particular. "We seek asylum ... might we be welcome here?"

Looking around, he takes stock to verify how many of the group arrived with him, hoping they hadn't left anyone behind. "We are at the tree ... Fly hard and fast," he thinks, sending a mental command to Dirk. Taking stock of his own mental energy reserves, he checks to see just how much the spell had cost him, and whether he had anything left.

With all that out of the way, he lets himself relax ever so slightly. "A Millenium Tree ..." he states to the group, but mostly for Bill's benefit. "The stuff of myths and legends ... truly one of the greatest wonders of our world." Letting a smile replace his usually thoughtful or suspicious expression, he adds, "I've always wanted to visit one!"

"But hmmm ..." he thinks, an odd thought crossing into his mind. Wasn't him heading towards this very tree the last thing he remembered before coming out of his fairie-induced brain fog?

As he relaxes, he almost self-consciously begins to draw on the environment to restore his PPE reserves ... also noting the ley line activity around them; attempting to confirm his theory that there should be a nexus in the area.

Kila glances around at the area still holding on to Raven's hand.

Cassandra states, "I like a good fight as much as the next girl. If it was a single slaver barge, might be worth a fight. Multiple slaver barges is just too much however."

The red headed figure looks at the Millennium tree carefully. Knows of many times where such trees are attacked in an effort to steal brances to make wands or staves. She has no real interest in doing so however.

"We likely should look for somebody in charge if there is such a thing."
